Half Time: Manchester City 0 vs 0 Inter Milan

Game rhythm  was quite interesting in the 45 minutes of the first half because both teams played with quite high intensity, even though they had difficulty scoring goals, Manchester City appeared more dominant in the first half. Manchester City dominance with ball possession 61% than Inter Milan has 39% but huge pressing made Manchester City difficult for scoring goals in the first half.

Bad news for Manchester City after Kevin De Bruyne got injured and has replace by Phil Foden on 36th minutes, many mistake made by Manchester City defense actually with Ederson passing error and Nicolo Barella almost scoring goals for Inter Milan, seems second half more attractive with both teams has chance for scoring gaols.

Inter is holding great and it will not be easy at all for Manchester City seeing these first 20 minutes of the game,Manchester City despite keeping the ball as they have always done they have not created anything dangerous and the only corner of the game so far is for Inter.I think that if Inter manages to keep at this performance the pressure will always be in the increase on Manchester City but Guardiola said in conference with journalists that City should not think that they are losing the game if they will be in a draw for to long,so deep inside even Guardiola is prepared for a draw and eventual penalties.

I thought Inter Milan's defense was weak. But Inter Milan's defenders are playing very well today. The defenders of both teams are playing very well. Both City and Inter are attacking. However, neither team is able to score yet. In the first 30 minutes, Manchester City managed to possess 67% of the ball. The players of both teams are performing quite well. I wouldn't be surprised if this match ends in a penalty shootout like the Europa League final.
Their rhythm is slowly carried away by Manchester City and this must be immediately anticipated by Inter because they are separated from whatever they are from the beginning, in my opinion, it is good enough to maximize the open game but the longer the dominance of Manchester City is increasingly felt now.
Btw seeing from the current conditions it seems that KDB is experiencing a little problem and Foden is preparing hopefully this does not have a big impact for City.
First half draw is already an indication of something that most sports bettors who choose Manchester City for straight winning should consider because at the moment Manchester city even though they dominated the first half but we're not able to conceive a possible goal score, Manchester city has a lot to do in this second half if not the 90 minutes may end in surprising ways since inter Milan is putting out their best foot this time and haven't learned from the first half.

But all the same, I wish the clubs the best!

Okay, so I must admit; Inter Milan has been playing much more better than I had expected or perhaps, Manchester City isn’t playing as good as they normally do? Inter Milan has been playing really well and also trying hard to defend against City forward.
So far, Manchester City hasn’t managed to score a goal just yet. Haaland had a good opportunity in the 27th minute and the first major chance for Manchester City but was stopped by the goalie.
I know it wont be a easy win for Manchester city, inter Milan performance wasn't really bad in the first half of the match, they performed above most peoples expectation, Manchester city are finding it difficult to break inter Milan defense, actually Manchester city created some opportunities in the first half of the match, but they couldn't convert any of those opportunities to goal. lets see how the second half of the match will be, but am having feelings that Manchester city is going to score in the second half of the match, lets see how the second half will be but the way Manchester city are playing, they might end up winning the match.

I did think Manchester City would have managed to score a goal but Inter isn’t having any of it. Good game for both sides. 0:0 for now.
I hope De Bruyne doesn’t have to leave the field cause of an injury.

Alas, for the second final in a row Kevin leaves the field due to injury, he played very well for the time he was on the field but he seems to have suffered a sprain after slipping. That would only be a theory, but when the Inter goalkeeper slipped in the same spot it was clear that the pitch in that spot must have been watered too long, otherwise it's not clear why two players had already fallen there...

Let's see what happens in the second half, but so far Manchester City are getting nowhere

[HT] Manchester City 0 - 0 Inter Milan

The match in the first half between Manchester City and Inter Milan was very tight, even though Manchester City still dominated in terms of ball possession and attack, Inter Milan was able to withstand all the attacks made by Manchester City.

What are your views on the second half? Will Inter Milan continue to survive until the match goes to a penalty shootout? or could it be that in the second half Manchester City made more than 2 goals? share your opinion...

Based on the first half, Inter answered many people's doubts and in this match it turned out that Manchester City was not as aggressive as rumored. lol

So do you still hope that the treble winner will be theirs? At first I was sure but now I doubt it. To be honest, Inter played much calmer, controlled the game in their Italian style, relaxed but sure to apply pressure. Things are going quite well for Inter and even the chances of victory for Inzaghi's squad are increasing. The second half without Kevin De Bruyne, of course, the foundation of the attack would be a little paralyzed, Haaland was unable to get an ideal ball supply. As the brain of the attack, De Bruyne's role is very important and his injury will certainly be a big problem for Pep Guardiola's strategy. Apart from the second half, Inter obviously benefited a bit because they adapted quite a bit, and one more thing as far as I saw in the second half, everyone played with caution and alert, so in the second half we expected a high rhythm of play. from both.

0-0 after 1st half and KDB is broken.

Not so much happened, some occasions for City but nothing more, the game is quite boring as often happens when an Italian team is playing,

This injury is big. The main player for Man City is injured and their creator and this will cause problems. I said previously in this thread that it will be hard for City but it looks like it will be much harder for them. Inter holding up pretty well and now it can go either way honestly

It's a shame because De Bruyne was injured early in the match. Even though he was one of the key players, especially as a mid-fielder. harm. However, it may not be too significant.

Yes, it’s sad to see De Bruyne leave early on in the game with Foden replacing him on the field. He’s definitely a key player, one that knows how to work the midfield up till the front. It’s 45 minutes already and 2 minutes have been added. Still there are no goals from either side. Inter Milan has been superb in defending so far as Manchester City has been dominating the game.
De Bruyne leaving the game may not have much of an impact as Manchester City is still capable of playing good football without him.

Injury Update: KDB is down and the meds are attending to him hopefully he gets better and continue playing the game but of he goes out in this game and Inter Milan continue pushing the attack then I think City will be in big trouble. No one expected Inter Milan to come all out against City but surprisingly Inter Milan is playing a massive attack and massive defense type of football hopefully it will favour them to get a goal.17

Kevin De Bruyne is out.

FOOTBALL IS ALL ABOUT HISTORY
2yrs ago when Manchester City lost Kevin De Bruyne in the finals against Chelsea, we all knew the outcome. Who knows if History is about to repeat itself today.
Immediately Kelvin left the team, Manchester City midfield has lossened and I think the whole match is balanced for now.
I feel for Manchester city as the power house to their team has been substituted due to injury. Inter are now in a lucky mood because the absent of De Bruyne will affect city's performance. Inter is playing the match with confidence and are also trying their own tactics to see how they can penetrate city and score a goal. Despite the fact that DeBruyne is out City is still in possession of the game.

Inter Milan are proving equal to the task. The first half is almost over and they've been able to push Manchester City back, doing there all to commit them and have them make a mistake that could prove costly.
The good thing for them now is that, they've go Kevin De Brunye out of the way and the control at the midfield for Manchester City is a bit loses. Inter Milan is now getting more confidence to push forward and I think we could have a thrilling much now.
E. Haaland has been able to land a good shooting opportunity but, the Inter Milan goalkeeper was right in the way to keep it out.
The game as it is is looking like a halftime draw already but, a lot could still happen in 5minutes.

Yep, it's a bit of an impact regardless as De Bruyne is definitely one of the greatest backers and indeed losing him in midfield now is something of a cost for Manchester City. after he leaves, it is clear that there will be a readjustment for Manchester City considering that in this case De Bruyne can be said to be the midfield general for Manchester City.
But even if it's like that, I still feel it's going to be Manchester City regardless Foden is also still pretty good at it. The match still lacked anything to make it exciting and now we are entering the first 40 minutes of time which we will probably see as a draw for this first half.

There's no denying it, and it's true. In some ways, Inter is playing quite well, the burden maybe not be as heavy as Man City who are the favorites to win. So that Inter can play on the basis of nothing to lose. Even though statistically, at this time, Man City is dominating the game. However, Inter is also sometimes able to turn things around very quickly. Man City must be vigilant and must not be caught off guard by Inter's counter-attack.

He has been cleared to continue, but I do not think that he is fully fit, hew will not continue because Pep does not want to gamble this. Phil Foden is ready to come on. Devastating for De Bruyne to leave this game, he is one of the key players for Manchester City, this will be another finals he has had to miss because of injuries. Foden is another threat but Inter Milan are doing so well so far making Manchester City players nervous on the ball to the extent of making wrong passes.

I don't like Guardiola. Too much arrogant for me. I agree with you, I also know that City most probably will win but I'm a romantic man and I don't like to be always from the strongest side part. I like what is "right" and what

is deserved. Inter will have the eye of the tiger in comparison of City. It will be a beautiful match anyway.
I don't even know anymore the pressure is just so much. I may the best side win. For today, I just want to watch good football and enjoy the game. And certainly I have enjoyed the few minutes I have watched so far. I wonder what is running through Guardiola mind right now. I wonder what Haaland is think right now too. Same thing goes with their Inter. Everyone one is at the edge of their chair. One this I know is that tonight, history will be made.
