The Real Madrid vs Chelsea match is no stranger to the Champions League and there are unique facts when these two teams met in the UCL.
In the 2020/2021 season, these two teams met in the semifinals, Chelsea won 3-1 on aggregate and managed to lift the UCL trophy that season. Next, in the 2021/2022 season, Real Madrid and Chelsea met again in the quarter-finals. Real Madrid won over Chelsea 5-4 on aggregate and managed to become champions at the end of the season.

If we look at the conditions of the two teams this season, Real Madrid is superior in all respects to Chelsea. Consistency in matches is one of the factors that strengthens the assumption that Real Madrid will move on to the semifinals easily.

Will the winner of this game be the UCL champion again?

The almighty Santiago Bernabéu stadium that you're talking about, isn't that the same stadium Chelsea went with a lesser quality squad last season than we have now and defeated Real Madrid 3-2 the last time we meant. Seems we're forgetting so fast that we defeated Real Madrid in our road to lift the 2021 trophy before they did the same thing in their way to lift the 2022 trophy. I don't see Real Madrid lifting this years trophy so I have a very strong believe they can't defeat us. Lets forget how we're playing in the premier league, champions league is different. Chelsea vs Real Madrid last five meeting has ended with both clubs winning two games each and a draw so they aren't like a top team when they play us and we aren't scared of playing them. I think where we might have some challenges, is playing Bayern Munich in the semi finals.

Even though Bayern Munich are performing at the highest level in the Bundesliga, the quarter-final match against Manchester City in the Champions League will be very competitive. If Bayern Munich want to beat Manchester City, they will have to play at their maximum and apply new tactics.

It must not be a problem as bayern has a good replacement for lewandowski and that's choupo moting who has become a secondary striker before once lewandowski was still playing in bayern. Moting is also as good as lewandowski as he has saving bayern so many times.

Just because there was not lewandowski and you think that bayern was so weak compared with manchester city with haaland. Nagelsman is also very optimistic to get manchester city as a new opponent in the last 8.
Bayern and manchester city were also facing each other last season when manchester city was ably eliminating bayern from UCL. Nagelsmann has been learning a lot from the previous meetings against city and bayern will come back stronger.

Inter Milan will meet another club from Portuguese League after beating Porto. Benfica will be a next opponent of Inter Milan and if they win over Benfica, they will have chance to reunite AC Milan after many years and again in semi final of Champions eague.

Inter Milan have less difficult matches than AC Milan that will play against Napoli and I don't think AC Milan will be able to beat Napoli after all. However Inter Milan must focus on Benfica first before they can think of possible matches with AC Milan. Benfica at least lost part of their strength in winter transfer by selling Enzo Fernandez to Chelsea. Inter Milan will have sort of advantage from this change in Benfica midfield but maybe it is not a big enough advantage for them.

Inter Milan doesn't have a good performance, they only win with small margins for 1 or 2 goals, while Benfica is really beat their opponent with big margins. Benfica and Napoli are nothing to lose playing in Champions League, because they don't have any pressure just like the other clubs who have a lot fans and everyone are hoping they will become a champion. In this matter Benfica and Napoli can play like they want without any fear.

If chelsea will be going to the fully defensive and it must be so important to be parking bus strategy which was very effective to prevent real madrid, this strategy has ever used by barcelona before and yeah that was making madrid frustrated caused by madrid was unable to making a goal against it. As far as i remember if chelsea has ever used this strategy in the past but i don't even know whether stupid potter will try to consider it or not. It seems like that potter never learns from his mistake in the past.

It's not always related to how lucky chelsea is to win or lose during the match in EPL. it's about how smart the coach to take a very good decision during the match. Look at when chelshea has been dominating the match and potter was urgently changing the strategy which is a very stupid decision.

Chelsea should continue to take the ball possession and never let everton touch the ball but potter was giving chance for everton to always making counter attack by changing the club into the defensive strategy.

I think the most chances Italian team who possibly qualified to final match is Napoli but for Inter i think very hard for them to reach final match and Inter opponent is Benfica who can be recognized as dark horses team but personally i wouldn't underestimate Benfica because this season they have outstanding performance that whether it on their domestic league or champion league Benfica had stable performance

And since group stage people didn't counted Benfica as the favourite team who qualified to round of 16 because at that time they are in a group with strong teams like PSG and Juventus but in fact they can overturn people's predictions with being an group champion with unbeatable status so in my opinion Benfica had more good chances qualified to semifinal than Inter

Bayern Munich and Manchester City are another problem, which Ancelotti has to do is how to beat Chelsea to take his team to the semifinals. The opponent Real Madrid is facing this time is one of the big teams who have yet to find their best form, Chelsea have just been held to a draw by Everton in the Premier League and are still stuck in 10th place.
The lack of consistency in Chelsea appearance has made Real Madrid very favored to go to the semifinals. Now Ancelotti focus is on Chelsea, after that he will think about how to beat Bayern Munich and Manchester City to get the UCL Trophy.

I also have the same thoughts about the first leg match Chelsea vs Real Madrid. because Chelsea's consistency is even still unstable at this time. although there has been a slight improvement in Chelsea's game. but this will not be enough to compensate for Real Madrid, which has had good consistency from the start. and a defensive strategy could possibly be a worse outcome for Chelsea . because this is the same as giving Real Madrid the opportunity to build more attacks. And as we know, Real Madrid's forwards are very good at creating gaps in the opponent's defensive area.

Even if Chelsea had to carry out a defensive strategy in the first leg match later, it would surely end in conceding goals first. Because we know the first leg match will take place at home to Real Madrid and of course the Los Blancos squad want to win the match, as well as score lots of goals to widen the aggregate gap in the second leg later at home to Chelsea. But indeed Chelsea have had bad luck so far in the domestic league and they are still trying to find their best game. It's quite difficult and maybe they will be eliminated early via the decider in the first leg later.

Messi and Mbappé are what are taking the team forward,it may be that now as Ney is injured and his injury has spread,they have to solve it with what they have,if Mbappé is not selfish he can give Messi the leadership he has always had and that makes it goals, something that PSG really lacks in the UCL,PSG has always been a very strong team, they show another level of fútbol,but the ones in the UCL aren't just any team, they're the best and that always makes the difference, in particular I want Real Madrid to win again, because it is a team that I see as more complete.

Seeing how bad the performance from chelsea in the domestic league makes me think that chelsea gonna be even worse in UCL compared to the domestic league. The chance for chelsea to beat real madrid in its current form is very small at this moment.
I do think that if chelsea may always play defensively against real madrid. Chelsea needs to bring back some old players like kante to compete with madrid in UCL. Real madrid will be coming with fully talented players.
The first leg gonna be a match with very high tension. Im thinking about if chelsea will able to make its comeback with the help of luck.

Chelsea needs the luck to be able to beat real madrid. I see no chance for chelsea to make it happen at this moment after seeing how bad its performance in EPL.

Manchester City - Bayern Munich is the most attention getting matchup for me already. This is not much different than a finale for the Champions League as well. They are both teams that deserve to make it to the title now. Manchester City have been putting on a great show so far especially thanks to Haaland. He is their best card against Bayern Munich as well.

Bayern Munich on the other hand are doing really good despite losing a very important player in their attacking line like Lewandowski. I wonder if their disciplined game plan will be helpful for them to eliminate Manchester City as well. But I'm favouring the English team for the semi finals.

One from Napoli or Milan will be eliminated and most likely the one who will be eliminated will be Milan.
On the other hand, Inter is actually still at risk of going home sooner. Benfica this season has been quite strong and the proof that they are on top beating PSG and destroying Club Brugge in the round of 16 is definitely proof that they are very different this season. Even though Inter is different from Club Brugge, of course, Benfica's defense is also very strong now so this possibility is very difficult for Inter to escape easily.

It seems like that bayern and real madrid will become clubs that will be qualified for the semifinal. City looks a big weak in front of bayern although it has haaland as a beast striker but it will be facing bayern which known so well about the play style owned by haaland. Bayern will become a biggest opponent for manchester city and i doubt if city will able to win against it. I meant we must take a look at the fact that if manchester city may not able to beat bayern.

After these qualifications and there will be another interesting game to come very soon. It seems like that the match between bayern against real madrid gonna be a real thing for sure.
I can't even wait for the continuation of UCL next month. This probably become the best qualification matches for this season ever.

Like the match between Barcelona and Manchester United, the match between Bayern and Manchester City will be like the UCL final.  I am happy to watch 2 beautiful matches.  Bayern have the power to knock out Manchester City.  As a result of these double matches, the team that will go to the next round will probably be the champion.

Real madrid will beat chelsea at anycost. Don't you know about how stupid potter is espectially in the domestic league? Potter was always making so many wrong movements. The draw against everton is a big shame for potter and its club.

Real madrid is having an easier job compared to when real madrid faced chelsea under tuchel last season. it's caused by chelsea has been losing-winner mentality. Potter didn't know about which right position for any of his players in chelsea.

Real madrid will able to beat chelsea easily compared with liverpool. I expect more goals will be made by madrid. it's probably 7-0 against chelsea for the first leg.

Napoli will against AC Milan, I agree if Napoli which will win and qualify for the semi-finals. Because AC Milan also recently lost against Udinese in Serie A and they are still not back to their best performance, but there is still time for them to improve. I don't think it will be easy for Inter to win against Benfica there. Even, I think Inter will lose in this quarter-final, Benfica is really on fire in domestic league and in UCL, this team very a solid like a wall that is hard to break. Inter also difficulty when against Porto before although in the end Inter were able to win.

I believe that Real Madrid has the ability to beat Chelsea over two legs in this Quarter-Final round, but the obstacle is the other two big teams like Manchester City and Bayern Munich where one of them will also qualify for the next round and that will be a big obstacle. for Real Madrid to get to the Champions League final this season although I also wouldn't be that surprised if Real Madrid were able to make themselves better to get to the Champions League final again this season.
