Liverpool must win at least 4-0 at home to Real Madrid to qualify for the quarter-finals, this will be a difficult mission for Liverpool who are not in their best form. Real Madrid always performs well in the UCL even though sometimes they drop points very often in La Liga. After trailing Barcelona by 9 points in La Liga, Ancelotti will focus more on the Champions League title as a reward at the end of the season. It took a miracle for Liverpool to qualify for the quarter-finals because their chances were very small.
There is belief that Liverpool can score that many goals at the Santiago Bernabeu, but no more than one doubts it.
Liverpool in my opinion can beat Real Madrid in the second leg, but they will not make it through to the next round. Real Madrid will very likely maintain their aggregate goal advantage in the second leg, but I would really say they are unlucky if Liverpool manage to come back with a 0-4.

I think Ancelotti really needs to know what they are doing in the second leg. Of course getting a strong defense instead of focusing on attacking, but that doesn't mean he has to play defense, he just has to be very capable of keeping his team clean from conceding lots of goals.

I still don't understand why many people think Liverpool can beat Real Madrid 4-0 in leg 2 later. I think it's not difficult for Liverpool to happen even though Liverpool can beat Man United by 7-0. The UCL clash with Real Madrid was lost after 5-2 in the first leg, there's no turning back for that.
But it's not something easy for Liverpool to achieve 4 goals without reply when dealing with Real Madrid. Maybe Liverpool will win the match, but by a narrow score, 2-1 or 1-0. Which in the end Liverpool also did not qualify for the last 8. But I'm sure Liverpool will also lose in the 2nd leg.
Even though Real Madrid will be playing at home, Liverpool are likely to win. I also think that Liverpool can somehow just win but it is almost impossible for them to go to the next round. But I think this match will not be so one-sided like the first leg.

PSG is just an overrated club where they have Neymar, Messi and Mbappe, but actually only both Mbappe and Messi are the most important to score a goal, while Neymar is just helping Mbappe or as a second striker. When Mbappe play without Messi, he doesn't get many chances to score a goal, but when Messi play without Mbappe, there's no striker have better decision than Mbappe.

Bayern Munich is already strong without a star player because they're better in develop a good potential player without spend a lot money.
Since they became a club many stars they have always failed to win. But it does seem like they have only been able to afford domestic competitions. Besides, there is indeed no French club that can play better than PSG in the UCL. So I think indeed their club's ability is only up to this level.
In addition the draw in the first knockout phase they were quite unlucky because they met a big team with a good UCL history. So maybe if they play against a club other than Bayern they have a bigger chance. I think the PSG owners should make improvements in the team immediately. They need hardworking players not just star players.

Manchester City will be a huge favourite against Leipzig on paper of course. The first leg was indeed unexpected at the end due to Manchester City's staying ineffective in the second half. But Guardiola must have warned them about this performance already. I won't be expecting to see the same mistakes again in their home game this time.
All Manchester City need is to show their usual performance and play their own game. As long as they manage to do this in both halves there shouldn't be any problem about getting a decent win.
Manchester City are a bit far from their dominant image last year. They are 5 points behind Arsenal in the league. They could not get the result they wanted in the first match they played against Leipzig in the Champions League. Of course they still have a chance to win both the league and the champions league, but they had a better performance last season. Normally, Manchester City should win this match by a comfortable score. However, I can't form a definitive opinion on the outcome of this match as they have had a choppy performance this season.

There is no difference in aggregate scores between these two teams. So, I believe Manchester City is going to actually have the upper hand going into this match. I do not understand how Leipzig is going to win the second leg against Manchester City. Of course, there is never a 100% chance of a team losing. But I also understand why people might think that Manchester City is not losing this match against Leipzig.

At certain times, Manchester City has not been very consistent. But I don't think they are going to be inconsistent that this stage.
I think that Man City can face some difficulties against Leipzig, because we've seen them struggle to score  against Crystal Palace and a penalty saved them from a draw, and Leipzig could probably lean a lot towards defense and try to take advantage from counter attacks and some corner kicks and free kicks, for now I can't see them losing in their home stadium against Leipzig, but a draw in the first half is very likely to happen.

Manchester City have never been dominant in the Champions League even when they have won the Premier League by a lot of points. They struggle against teams like Real Madrid who have a different style. I think a lot of English teams struggle with the different play style of the other european leagues because they are slower and there is a lot more fouls. Premier League teams are very aggressive and get away with harder tackles then other leagues. I think Real Madrid wins this Champions League again their experience is very valuable and no other team in the Champions League has the experience they have.
When they are in the domestic league they appear superior and when they are in the Champions League they cannot show the same superiority. Not only Manchester City, Bayern Munich, Paris Saint Germain also did the same thing. It's no longer about strategy or anything like that, but it's about a huge mentality that every team has to have. Yes we can see that with Real Madrid, how many people doubted them last season? but they can be champions.
Of course mentality is also very influential on victory. But strategy is the most important part of the game. If we compare with Real Madrid last season, and talk about the mentality of the players, I don't think that makes sense, because last season's Real Madrid players were also filled with young players, of course they had little experience in the UCL. But what is Carlo's strategy with the young player? He replaced players after several opposing players were replaced, that's where he saw the opponent's weaknesses and replaced players accordingly. If the running speed of the opponent's back line is weak, then he replaces it with a straiker with a faster running speed. So you can make good use of long balls.

Smart is not enough, there must be skills

I think it is normal for them to be on a high after such a big win, it was obvious that they got a bit lucky and they needed to work hard to win every single game. However, they felt like we beat united 7-0, we can easily defeat bournemouth" and that type of cocky attitude cost them the game.

They have been playing with lack of fire for all season and that is why they are losing, we have seen it time and time after again which is why I doubt that it would be easy for them to recover since it's such a long standing issue. We should just accept that they are going to suck this year, and will have to just focus on next season already.
Initially, many were confident after the goal feast from the match against Man United, after that they had to be ashamed of losing to relegation team Bournemouth, of course there would be a lot of polemics where they doubted Liverpool again in the Champions League, especially against Real Madrid, which is clear Liverpool did not have good statistics when dealing with Real. Madrid, so I conclude this will not be strong for Liverpool to win because their pressure is too great for 3 goals and above.

I don't know what happened this season it's clear they are being erratic in every game, thinking next season might be better than this season.

Liverpool surprised everyone with a big win against Manchester United. But even then they could not return to form. Liverpool has lost against teams like Bournemouth. From this, it can be easily deduced that the performance of this group is very erratic. However, the Real Madrid team must play carefully. Because Liverpool has already proven that they are capable of winning by big margins even against strong opponents. Manchester United's defense was not weak. Even then, Liverpool managed to score 7 goals. And so if Real Madrid doesn't perform carefully and keep their defense tight then they are likely to lose by a big margin.
Liverpool have yet to find consistency in their form of play, after managing to leave an impression that is hard to forget for the Manchester United public, Liverpool couldn't do anything in the next game which made them have to accept an embarrassing defeat to Bournemouth.
Inconsistent performance means that Liverpool will experience difficulties when away to the Santiago Bernabeu. The results of the first leg made Liverpool even more depressed. Although anything can happen in football, I'm not sure Liverpool can score 4 goals without conceding at home to Real Madrid.

Real Madrid is not under any pressure now. If they can play their usual game then they will win against Liverpool. Although it is not easy to predict whether Liverpool will win or lose this season, the chances of Liverpool winning at home to Real Madrid are very low. Unless something unimaginable happens, it is very natural to say that Real Madrid will play the next round.

Porto vs inter is an interesting game in tomorrow schedual i think porto team can do something tomorrow against inter, they only lost 1 0 in the first leg and they will be playing home which give them an advantage i think even if porto team qualify i wouldn't be surprised.
It's gonna hard to predict but i will still try to put my faith in intermilan rather than porto.  The disadvantage that will be faced by milan is to play away against porto but we must remember that if porto was not playing so well in the first leg.
That gave intermilan more chance to win and be qualified for the last 8 compared with porto. As long as intermilan can prevent porto to make some goals and intermilan will able pass it.

It seems like that so many people have same though like me about how hard to predict this match.

If Liverpool can't even defeat Real Madrid home then I don't see any reason to believe in them to do this in Santiago Bernabeu. They just conceded 5 goals in Anfield and couldn't answer properly. It happened despite Liverpool got 2-0 ahead first. How can you be that much weak and concede 5 goals in a row? I understand that Real Madrid are also a title contender but this is still not an excuse for Liverpool's poor performance in defense. They still have a long way to go due to that.

I mean they have amazing defenders like one of the bests in many positions. What happened to them that they still play so badly?

Their is no doubt that Manchester City last season was better than the way they are this season. The truth is that you don't expect a team to remain in best performance forever. Competition in the season are not always the same because weak teams try their best to improve for the season to challenge strong teams.manchester City strength is not the same as last season.

This is a big match, this fight will probably show an exciting fight. We can't really predict Liverpool's performance, sometimes they appear impressive, sometimes they don't live up to expectations. however, because this fight is a life and death match for Liverpool. at least, Klopp will instruct his team to appear all out to play with all their abilities. meaning, Liverpool's chances of winning this match are still open. although, the probability that Liverpool has is very slim. but I feel Liverpool will give their best version of the game even though in the match they will play at the Santiago Bernabeu, Madrid headquarters.

On the other hand, El Real as the home team will not let Liverpool dictate the course of the game. at the very least, Don Carlo will prepare the team to perform optimally even though they have actually been superior on aggregate from the meeting in the first leg. So far, I can't assume too much. because, I don't have any information from the predicted starting line-up of the two teams.  so, let's just wait.

Proto is performing very well in the league and there is the same situation for Inter Milan in the last game they faced each other Proto lost the game and while Inter Milan was controlling the game more than Proto they have more opportunities in the game so they could the one these chances and scored one goal while proto had 10 players for 20 minutes, but regarding this game, I think Porto can even beat Inter Milan if thy shows better performance at home.
In the first leg, there really wasn't much difference regarding the performances of these two clubs, but the red card that the Porto players got, which required them to play with 10 people, really had an effect on the outcome of the game. Inter Milan can score the only goal when they have the advantage in the number of players. And even that they got in the final minutes before the match was over. If only in the first leg Porto still had a full number of players until the match was over I think they would be able to keep the score tied until the match was over.

Liverpool style of play this very season is a confusing one, just when you think they are totally dead in terms of performance , you will see them with a sudden wake up victory and will fail to win their next game after that victory, which is astonishing and a laughable display by Liverpool club. This season for Liverpool will be only to see if they can try to qualify for next season's champions league period.
But as for going over there at Santiago Bernabeu to win Real Madrid at home, my stake on that has changed and it will be the most difficult tasks ever for Liverpool this season.
Of course Liverpool will really face the most difficult match. Real Madrid apart from winning the first leg and now Real Madrid is playing as the host. Of course this will complicate Liverpool. and because Liverpool's inconsistency this season has made us a little confused in predicting every game Liverpool will face. they keep on giving surprises. whether in victory or in defeat.
It seems impossible that in the Liverpool vs Real Madrid match, Liverpool can win with an absolute score because Real Madrid is a team that is quite strong and moreover the match will take place at the stadium or cage of Real Madrid.
We can also see that from the last 5 matches Real Madrid against Liverpool managed to win 4 times and draw 1 time or never lose at all against Liverpool.
For now, Real Madrid also has a closer advantage to qualify for the quarter-finals this season.
Of course, this match will also be an opportunity for Real Madrid to really qualify for the next round if they manage to win the match again against Liverpool.
