Let's watch the Draws process in progress and it's quite surprising right now that there will be a lot of hell groups on display. Like Barcelona with Bayern Munich in Group C, and as we expected it will be even tenser when all the official draws have been made.

To watch you can watch it here https://www.uefa.com/uefachampionsleague/draws/?utm_campaign=ucl-draw-gs&utm_content=preview-feed&utm_medium=social&utm_source=twitter

Update: done and what do you think which of the groups that have been drawn is the most difficult?

Group C is literally a death trap for Plzen. Group C is very difficult for all teams especially Plzen. My guess, Barcelona is a lot better this season. Inter have Lukaku back. Bayern Munich is Bayern Munich. I think, Champions League Group C is a hellish group at the moment. Barcelona, Bayern Munich, Inter have to accept the fact that they are in an unexpected hell group.

How interesting it is to see that Bayern Munich are still as productive as the previous season. Most of us must have expected them to have some problems about scoring after selling Lewandowski to Barcelona. Maybe it is related to Mane's arrival too. He is a great player who loves to help the build-ups of attacks and plays a big role in goals. His absence is felt a lot at Liverpool now. Right after he came to Bayern Munich he started to make a big contribution. But of course the main reason why Bayern Munich are like this is about how much disciplined team they are.

Last season they were eliminated by Villarreal in the CL unexpectedly. But I don't think this has changed anything about their being one of the favourites again. Lessons must have been learned.  Grin

I think the only team that will give Barcelona tough time in this group Bayern Munich,  this can be a game between the two stars in Barcelona and Bayern Munich (sadio mane & Lewandowski).teams like inter won't be a problem to Barcelona. Barcelona and Bayern Munich will make the group to be more interesting because of their good performance. I think Barcelona and Bayern Munich may likely end up in draws, they will always struggle high goals different.  Barcelona will make it in the group stage because they have strong squad to achieve it.
I mean it doesn't matter at all, does it? If Barcelona wins 4 games and gets 12 points, even if Bayern wins all 6 and gets 18 it won't matter because Barcelona would be up to the next stage. The problem would be of course the next stage because then they would face the group leader of another group, and that is bad for them but it is still another stage which they haven't seen last year.

I believe that it is going to be tough for them against Inter as well, it is not going to be walk in the park for them to win against Inter, maybe at home they could get a win, but when they play away, it will be Inters home turf and they could get some points from them if they play well enough.

It comes as no surprise that PSG is again the favorite. However, I don't think Liverpool's odds are correct. They are in a bad phase and already have the biggest problems in the competition. PSG, on the other hand, is a bit low again at 7.0, they should still be the top favorites with City and Bayern Munich. City is good, but I think Bayern are stronger at the moment and City always have problems in the Champions League. The top favorite to win the title for 5-6 years but to date they have not won the tournament once. And the same goes for PSG of course. I don't see any outsiders for the title this season. Ajax has let too many good players leave.

I'm curious about Real Madrid too this season. They haven't changed their squad much except signing young players for the midfield. The same squad won the Champions League and La Liga titles both last season in the end. This time they might find even a bigger competition in the tournament after the new changes in the favourite teams. However Real Madrid's being very experienced here still carries them to another level. As you remember, they weren't the most performing team last season but Ancelotti still found a way to eliminate their opponents one by one.

So I really wonder how the other teams will find a solution for this. Actually Manchester City had the strength to eliminate them but missed it by inches after those miracle goals came in the last moments. If they meet again maybe it can be their time to have revenge.

In terms of the squad, Real Madrid did not make any changes. That is not something I am concerned about, and to be honest, I am not worried about it. Actually, I think that this squad is going to be able to perform well for them. There is already a good understanding between them as they have already spent a lot of time together. There is no doubt in my mind about the team's ability. And there will be no problem as long as they keep performing well.

These are the current odds given to the teams to win the Champions League title.

Manchester City's being shown as the biggest favourite is no surprise of course. After Haaland has joined the team they are even much stronger. Guardiola's system was working really great last season actually but they were really unlucky about their elimination. Even though Real Madrid are the last champions their odd is still quite high now. Maybe I can bet on this 9.00 odd with some money.  Grin  Barcelona seem to be behind Chelsea according to the odds but I think the opposite. Chelsea are having really tough days now. I don't think that they can be more successful than Barcelona as long as they don't solve their issue with a centre-forward now. Barcelona are in a much better shape with Xavi and Lewandowski's arrival has made them more solid on the front.

Barcelona has not met yet strong teams this season, even in LaLiga. The first relatively strong will be Sevilla and here the bookmakers estimate the chances of Barcelona rather modestly - 1.85. 1.85 against the crisis Sevilla suggests that the chances against the tops Champions League will be minimal. I will hope that Bayern and Inter eliminate Barcelona already in the group stage and Barcelona's all-in doesn't work  Roll Eyes
Even in this case if you look at the current condition of Sevilla it is not a big club in my opinion.
Currently, Barcelona's condition is still quite comfortable in La Liga with opponents who are quite easy.
It's a shame that their first match in the Champions League is against Plzen and it's not a tough opponent either because I'm really curious about them when they face big teams.

Lol, i am pretty sure Barcelona would have hoped for a much easier group, in the past this prolly would have been an easy group for them, and they'd have surely qualified alongside Bayern Munich, but at this very time they are a team in transition, and are just trying to rediscover themselves, thus this is going to be a really tough group. Having said that, i think they can still go through, Inter aren't too strong, though more often than not they can be a stubborn opposition, i for one would want Barcelona to make it out of the group stages, it would be much better for the competition if they make it through.

It seems true but you must see the performance from bayern against moenchengladbach. It was getting draw. Bayern will met barcelona on second week of next month. This gonna be a strict competition for bayern consider lewandowski is also starting to have very good performance with barcelona. yeah his age was too old for munich. The defensive players of barcelona is not so good at this moment unlike its midfielder and striker. All of teams in this group are so competitive between one to the each other.
They have good performance in their own league. It's hard to predict two team that will be going to the next around.

On this occasion, Barcelona will be tested in the Champions League group stage. They have tough opponents to face, especially Bayern Munich. In that match, we will see how Lewandowski will play against Bayern Munich, which incidentally he has played with the Munich squad. Likewise with Sadio Mane, at the Bayern-Barcelona meeting, of course Sadio Mane wanted to perform better, especially to prove his presence in the Munich squad.
Group C is a hell group, in which there are bayern, barcelona, inter, and the weakest is viktoria plzen. as I said before, on this occasion we will see the performance of barcelona which will be tested in the matches they will face, and this catches our attention.

Among the biggest favourites of the title, I see that Manchester City and PSG are quite under pressure to win it because of not achieving this title in their histories. Manchester City have just built the dream team with Haaland's joining. They must be near impossible to be stopped from now on. Guardiola must have learned his lesson from their Real Madrid matchup last season also.

When it comes to PSG they have changed their manager and their choice was a little unexpected. They didn't prefer to bring a very experienced manager into this arena. They brought a manager like Galtier and actually took a bigger risk. Maybe the Ligue 1 performance so far has been impressive but it can be deceptive at the same time. The Champions League is way tougher than there. The trio has a big responsibility under his management. The team are more attacking focused now and they are successful at it too. If they don't lose their focus this time we might see them in the finale.
I agree that City and PSG are two big candidates, but for some reason City looks more "mature" in a sense that they have a more established team. Haaland is new, but the rest has been playing together for a while now. ON the other hand when you look PSG a quite good amount of them came in last year, sure some of them have been there for a while as well, but they got plenty of good players in the last 2 seasons as well.

This is why I believe that even if City wins this year, PSG could try again next year and win it as well. This means that PSG has a longer period of dominance if they keep it, whereas City has a closing door that they need to take advantage of.

Guardiola's Manchester is a team destined to win at least 2 trophies this season. They are a better side and more formidable. Viewing their last game made me realise they have another Aguerro in the person of Haaland. The guy is big, fast, strong with ball. Their work rate is something that would give other team's a serious run for their goal.

@Cryptomultiplier initially I thought these two sides would be invincible, but they have drawn matches in their respective league’s which shows that they can be stopped from winning the champions league.

Furthermore I feel that Barcelona is strong contender this year because they have Lewandowski who can single-handedly win them matches and another strong team is Bayern who’s only gotten stronger after letting Lewandowski leave, thus I feel that City and PSG will struggle to win the champions league.
I just have a feeling Barcelona would struggle to gain composure with the absence of Messi creating a vacuum and with the presence of Lewandowski who I feel would take some time before adjusting fully to deliver much-needed goals. Bayern has always been a strong contender, but this is the Champions League, and upsets do happen. Manchester City might have struggled to win or have gotten draws as well as PSG, but Guardiola has played against these sides in previous encounter and knows how best to structure his team to win.

I'm a barcelona fan of course in champions league and yea champions barcelona is a favorite team and currently playing very well but in the middle their game drop but now their game is very pathetic and playing at a very good level new player added especially one of my favorite player lewndoski
Let's see how good the performance from your favorite club. I think that it for me bayern munich is still superior but i didn't know whether with the come of lewandowski to the barcelona can change any thing like it will win against bayern munich once barcelona will be facing it at the group session of UEFA champion league. That will be very good if inter can also compete against munich and barcelona. I heard that intermilan became even stronger too. We need to see that how good performance from the new players of barcelona in champion league.

Bayern lost Lewandowski, but got Mane and some other very good players, and I think they will be even stronger this season and favorites to win the Champions League.
It seems to me that Xavi stopped the great decline of Barcelona, stabilized the club, got new players and that Barcelona will be much better in the Champions League this season.
Inter have been playing very well in the last few seasons, both in the Italian league and in the Champions League, and will be a very tough opponent for both Barcelona and Bayern.
A very interesting and uncertain group.

Pretty simple prediction given that the last time a non-top club won the Champions League was in 2004 when Mourinho won the title with Porto. On the other hand, 18 years have already passed and maybe it's time for a new miracle to happen? I don't really believe in it, but I think that everyone will be happy to see even in the quarterfinals someone "new" and not the usual list of applicants.

That miracle like you say it is highly unlikely and I find it very difficult for this to happen during this season when teams like Real Madrid,City,PSG and Liverpool have a lot of superstar players.I doubt these teams will be eliminated and I think that 2004 year was just a miracle because at that time even Greece won the first Euro Cup which was the biggest surprise of football history for me.So that is a distant year that it has very but very little probability to be repeated during 2022/23 season of the Champions League.
I also think that Barcelona is not yet fit for the title against giants but anything can be expected from them,in La Liga they are fairing pretty well so I don't exclude them as contenders as of yet.

I think that it would be the worst choice Napoli can make by replacing Ronaldo with Osimhen right before the Champions League starts. Their odd to advance to next round would increase also because keeping Osimhen would definitely be more helpful for them. Ronaldo is far from his old times as you know. It isn't sensible for Napoli to just sell their very promising striker to have Ronaldo for only a short period of time. However Napoli also don't want such deal now as it seems because their demand from Manchester United is really unbelievable.  Grin

Ronaldo should forget about playing in the Champions League this season and just focus on his work at the Red Devils. He can still join this tournament next season in the end if they win the Europa League title or enter top 4 in the EPL.

I don't think, Napoli president will make such mistake to release Osimhen in this season to Manchester united like the way Liverpool president made the mistake to released  Sadio mane that was among the talented players that made Liverpool so strong last season to another team. Osimhen is well ready to move Napoli to her next level in this season, which will be the reason Napoli president will not release Osimhen because of money to loose this season title. Cristiano Ronaldo cannot handle Napoli the way Osimhen is using all his strength and energy to ensure they achieve victory at the end of the match.

Ronaldo should forget about playing in the Champions League this season and just focus on his work at the Red Devils. He can still join this tournament next season in the end if they win the Europa League title or enter top 4 in the EPL.
The problem is that Ronaldo is a player who is only interested in his personal achievements and the records he has achieved.
He is aware that he will not be able to play top-flight football for much longer and is desperate to play in the Champions League this season to improve his personal record in the competition and prevent arch-rival Messi from overtaking him.
It has become funny to see how desperate he and his manager have become in their quest to find him a club playing in the Champions League this season  Cheesy
The Europa League means nothing to Ronaldo, he has to show his athletic greatness in the biggest competition, the Champions League, but in fact he is no longer the player he was a few years ago and his time has passed.
Barcelona do not want to repeat their failure last season in the Champions League, after finishing second in the domestic league, Barcelona officials immediately moved quickly by bringing in some greats to strengthen the team. Barcelona journey this season in the group phase is a bit tougher, Bayern Munich, Inter are Barcelona challenges to get out to the next round. Barcelona will have difficulty winning the group, Xavi must try to secure second place in order to go further in the Champions League stage. Madrid is always the favourite, I still doubt Barcelona can get to the final.

Barcelona doesn't want to see a repeat of last season's nightmare. Barcelona was a very weak team last season. Koeman turned this team into rubble. Xavi was able to gradually stabilize Barcelona. And this season Barcelona have spent a huge amount and signed a number of star players. As a result, the Barcelona team has become stronger.

There is no doubt that Barcelona is strong now. But we don't know how they will perform in the Champions League. Barcelona will face strong teams like Bayern Munich and Inter Milan in the first round. We still don't know how Barcelona will perform against strong opponents. But it is expected that they will perform better than last season.
