Real Madrid had really serious issues against Manchester City in Etihad and got a huge defeat as you remember. I checked the last two rendezvous of these teams in Etihad and saw that Real Madrid had the exact same formation and players (except Camavinga as the left-back). But while one of them was ending 4-3 the most recent one ended 4-0. Therefore I don't think this is an indicator that they need better defensive players or so. It is all about not getting prepared as much as the time before.

Real Madrid aren't interested in big transfers into the defense line these days already. But they are continuing to strengthen their midfield considering the Bellingham signing. When they sign a top striker such as Mbappe or someone else they will be a much more deadly team in the attacking side.
The same Real Madrid team that defeated Manchester City 4:3 two seasons ago was almost the same team that was beaten by 4 goals to nil last season and that's because of few tactical changes.
Real Madrid has further strengthened their midfield since the UEFA Champions League semi final humiliation at the Etihad with the acquisition of Jude Bellingham and the young star Arda Guler. The both clubs stands ahead the rest of other European clubs already and if Real Madrid can get the signature of Kylian Mbappe, it'll be a perfect complete team
Last season Real Madrid focused only on the Champions League but despite focusing so much on the Champions League, Real Madrid failed to win the Champions League in the end. Even though they were able to overcome major obstacles until the quarter-finals, they could not overcome the obstacles of Manchester City in the end. Real Madrid was basically behind by drawing the first leg match. If the result of the first leg match had gone in favor of Real Madrid then the second leg match would have been very competitive but Real Madrid could not create any such chances. They have bolstered their midfield after a wretched defeat by Manchester City last season. Best for Real Madrid Champions League next season Real Madrid have a chance to win the Champions League trophy with the team they have now, they are trying to strengthen their squad and if their deal with Mbappe goes through, Real Madrid will be an unstoppable team in the Champions League.

PSG strategy lack long term plans and are centred on bringing stars to Paris for the "show" and to collect money from selling their stuffs (shirts...). If they want to win something other than Ligue 1 title, then they will have to build a real team not based only on high budget players that are useless. Neymar for example wasn't that helpful the latest seasons, Messi was useful the last season but he moved, Mbappe will play his last season, why keeping him and lose a mountain of money from selling him?
Getting a new coach like Enrique was a nice move but they have to start looking for the next three - five years if they want a big title.

PSG are very ambitious for the Champions League. and it leads them to burn too much money to get it all instantly. and they always fail. they didn't keep their best squad for long. if they can plan some good long term players. I think it is very likely that they will not only be Ligue 1 champions. It is possible that the target of their ambition for the UCL trophy can be achieved if they consistently build their team, not just with a business that brings them money.
after several strong players in their team left, it is possible that they will have a hard time competing in the Champions League.

They need two things, the winning mentality in Champions League which can only be build during many time participation there which they have done, now they have it as they have been participating from many years now and second is what they are missing which is a team that will play long term with each other and that both players will be harmonized and would have a single objective to win the Champions League while having fun playing.I think that when they will achieve this,to have a lot of great players in each department, defense, midfield and attack only then they can try to win the Champions League,I see difficult for them to achieve it this year.

Luis Enrique can be considered more experienced than anyone who coached PSG in the last few seasons. PSG management also has a lot of money. And so if Luis Enrique is given enough funds then maybe he will be able to strengthen the PSG team. But it cannot be guaranteed. Also, what PSG's squad will look like next season is also uncertain. Mbappe is likely to leave the club this season. Mbappe has no intention of renewing his contract with PSG. And so if Luis Enrique becomes PSG's coach, he will have to completely revamp PSG's attack. And so it is not possible to predict what kind of performance we will see from PSG next season.
No, that won't guarantee that PSG can get stronger and win the Champions League even though Luis Enrique becomes PSG coach and is given more funds because just now PSG still has players who are quite great and popular so what do they lack in terms of playing?
PSG's mistake is actually that they can't really make players feel happy and play optimally so that increasingly here they are left behind by other clubs.

PSG was a big and strong club before but for some reason recently they couldn't play well when they entered the Champions League and only the Domestic League could they still master.
Not at the moment, of course, because everything takes time, one to two seasons may not be enough, even Pep Guardiola at Manchester City takes a long time until he can bring the club to become a champion league champion. What is now the focus is whether the owner PSG can be like the owner of Manchester City patiently waiting for Luis Enrique to be able to bring PSG to become a strong team in Europe not only domestically, if PSG owners are not patient and only always change managers every two to three seasons because they don't achieve what is targeted then they will increasingly difficult to achieve the achievements they want to get, patience is of course also the key besides money, because money is not a problem for PSG to be able to build their club into a strong team.

The blunting of Real Madrid's front line was indeed one of the reasons they lost to Man City but the main cause of the defeat was that Real Madrid's performance was far below Man City that was playing brilliantly at that time. Real Madrid's defense is quite brittle and I think their midfield has been missing something after Casemiro left Real Madrid.

It was clear how the performance of Real Madrid's squad was losing so much at that time against Manchester city, which had a very evenly distributed squad in almost all positions. I think this time Real Madrid has fixed it all by bringing in several new players who are expected to bring this team to the peak of its glory in the Champions League this season and even if they later meet Manchester City in the Champions League round, of course they will really look forward to it. Losing Casemiro may indeed be one of the reasons for Real Madrid's lack of discipline in defense, but that was a fact that was difficult to avoid last season. But it looks like Real Madrid will not be confused this time because they have more midfield options for later.

As of now, this is the main issue which need to fix by PSG they are trying with this all with money without any solid preparation which is not working for years even spend millions of USD here first time now we have better things like bringing new good coach and now having squad which works for some time and then try to win trophies in Europe like we have things at Manchester City and Liverpool here also need to give time to coach which bring better spirit and players chemistry which helps them for having a winning unit.

Now if they are able to understand this problem and not interference in teams selection then surely we can hope for the better results giving special treatment to Mbappé was also creating problems but hopefully now they will be positive and better sporting mind for next squad which could have no enough stars just good players.

PSG's performance was that of an average team after having many star players in their squad. The main reason for this was that the understanding between the team players was not good. The coach's match strategy was also not good. And that's why we don't get good performances from PSG. Manchester City on the other hand has a strong squad. Besides, their coach Guardiola is very experienced. He strengthened the bond between the team players. Helped to boost the confidence of players. Because of these reasons, Manchester City has been able to maintain consistency throughout the season. This team will play well next season because they have coach Guardiola.
This is arguably a shortcoming of management and coaches because even though the players are outstanding, when coached by those who are not very good at both mastery of players and the lack of schemes owned, everything will seem ordinary in the end.
Indeed, in the last few seasons PSG has always been one of the club candidates to be reckoned with, but after that there is really nothing else that can be seen from PSG because they only always rely on their trio up front, especially Mbappe, who is always exploited too much.
As long as they are always like that, then there will be no good things like that. Now there is some new hope with the arrival of some young players and a new coach but this is also still no guarantee of anything for PSG.

Mbappe should leave PSG now, if he still want to be top player, Haaland in one season has won everything he desire in Europe. But Mbappe and Kane are still carrying clubs that has no good projects on their heads. PSG can't win champions league, if they can't achieve it, this season, with Messi then it will take them very long time to win it. Only Mbappe can't help. Mbappe has to leave to Real Madrid if only he wants to play in a club  that will help him to be champion.

Before other top players like Messi joined Mbappe at Real Madrid, Mbappe has been exceptional and performing very well. With the exit of this players, it won’t have any much effect on him even though he still wants to remain at PSG. Saying he won’t be a top player is just a mere talk, if he still has good players in PSG that can still be assisting him, he’ll still remain one of the best players in the world.

Leaving PSG now will be for trophy sake. This is his future and he should make the decision wisely before he leaves. We all know he has high chances of winning the champions league trophy with Real Madrid but sometimes situation changes but I still expect him to join Real Madrid since he’ll have an even more higher likelihood of winning it even though it might not be in the first year he joins the team.

A good player require to play in a good team in order to prove himself correctly and to achieve something in his career. We hear a lot about Mbappe, Haaland and Kane for exemple. The latter is buried in Spurs failure in every competition. Haaland showed how valuable he is once he moved to Manchester City and added titles to his career.
Mbappe is a good player but he is limited with Ligue 1 and PSG luck. I compare him with Messi when he played his last season with Barcelona where he cannot do much for the club since his teammates weren't helpful.
Its true, good player required to play with good teams and has bigger chance for winning many tittles, Manchester City and Pep Guardiola as the best actor helped Haaland get first Champion League tittle in his career. Not guarantee won Champion League tittle if Haaland still in Dortmund, but Manchester City need Haaland how to make easy become the champion in this season.

Almost the same with Mbappe and Lionel Messi, they are best players but PSG is not teams has bigger chance for winning Champion League tittle and difficult for them become the winner. Current winning Champion League tittle seems Haaland has better performance than Mbappe still not yet win Champion League in his career.

His deal of over €300m for 3years was ridiculous and he also got a sign on fee of the same equivalent. The plan was to leave for Real Madrid as a free agent. The sage resurrected as the PSG hierarchy won’t let him go for free, the big questions are, is Fiorentino Perez ready to break the bank to sign the pay for the Eiffel Tower(Mbappe) or wait till his contract runs out? Will Mbappe force a move by submitting a transfer request?
We will need to grab our popcorns in the next couple of weeks🍿

Mbappe is definitely one of the best footballers in the world, but like the owners of PSG, and their fans, I am also very disappointed with his attitude and behavior.
In his latest statements to the media, he belittles his team and players, which is very unprofessional and has damaged the atmosphere in the PSG team.
It's incredible to me that a team with such players as Mbappe, Messi and Neymar failed to win the Champions League, but it is obviously not enough to fill the team with big stars, but it is necessary to create team spirit and unity.
Recently, PSG has been more "Hollywood" than a serious football club  Grin

Haaland has been also making a new record in his first season played on EPL. It's very hard to achieve what already achieved by haaland. He has become the beast striker in EPL. All of clubs are feeling worrying to face him in the field. I think that haaland's another season gonna be even crazy. It's caused by haaland has got his confidence to play in EPL. He will able to play so deeply next season. Haaland is such unstoppable striker right now.
It needs a defender like van dijk or rudiger to stop him.
With his stature that is slightly bigger than most of the other players, of course Haaland will have the opportunity to set another record next season. But the teams in the Premier League and also in several other leagues will also prepare tough defenders to block strikers like Haaland even though it is not an easy matter. I am also sure that Haaland will fight to make another record next season, especially in the Premier League because he will definitely not waste this opportunity.
what does it mean to set a new record?
what I know is that maybe Haaland in the Premier League has a very good performance but look at the UCL final Haaland is not as good as he was in the Premier League without even scoring a goal. With this, Haaland is indeed a mainstay player from Man City, but I also admit that other players also have the same performance to reach the Champions League title last season.
in the next season as long as Man City doesn't make changes to Man City players, they still have a chance to get a trophy in the champions league again. but must be a bit stronger because Real Madrid will be a strong competitor for Man City.

Harry Kane can still be the Champions League winner by right as long as he signs for a more successful team. Tottenham are struggling to even join the Champions League group stage now. We all must have watched how superb Kane was about scoring goals anyway in the EPL. Tottenham just don't deserve to have one of the best strikers in the world while they don't have a proper success in any tournament. I will be expecting Kane to be signed this summer by getting the offer needed for his fee.

Bayern Munich are getting closer to finishing this deal by improving their offer. This is an important deal for them to be more competitive for the Champions League title as well. We can see those times with Lewandowski are back thanks to Kane.
Even if Bayern Munich can get Harry Kane this season, of course he will be a very aggressive tandem with sadio mane on the Bayern Munich front line. He is the best sticker Tottenham have ever had and his quality has proven to be a big decider for every game Tottenham play. To retain Harry Kane will be quite difficult for Tottenham after they failed to advance to the Champions League this season.

Most likely Harry Kane will seek new adventures next season with another team. I hope Bayern munich doesn't give up on getting Harry kane because he has great potential for their progress in the Champions league next season.
Harry Kane is surely having love affair with Tottenham as he already spent nearly 14 years here, and it's his boyhood club with many records are also existing right now but as we have poor record of Tottenham then surely we need a better place for the player like Harry Kane, and now he is having last season here if Tottenham fail to sell him then surely in next season he could be free agent which could be more bad for the club because now they can sell him on very good price with this amount they can do many things specially bringing few good players for the long run also helpful for them.

Asking price is nearly €100M and Bayern Munich is paying around €60M but good thing happening negotiating are going on for the better solution hopefully things end in good for the all parties and Harry Kane will be also able to have his name as trophy winner in next season.

Well we cant say that PSG didnt have a good team, they had the biggest chance of winning last season but just had too many superstars. Now PSG is bad and i think that Mbappe should leave because he cannot win the champions league with PSG. With Messi and Ramos that left and Neymar that is always injured i dont think they can reach even the semis in the upcoming season.
When you have too many stars then surely it's never been easy to manage things for better results, and we are watching this with PSG for few years now first time we are having some positive development, but now things are going more bad as their star player is also thinking for the leave but good thing many options are available for them if Mbappé wants to leave, and surely they will be in good shape because they have enough sources which can help them for having another good squad and winning combination.

Luis Enrique arrival is also good sign for the management because he is well experienced and now can bring players which are good for his strategy and also can give him performance which he wants for having good end and better results.

I mean technically speaking all teams have "bought" players, how many teams won UCL by raising youth players from their own system? It just that some teams have more players that played together, and some teams have less. City for example won it this year and looking at them they had players who have been there for only 2-3 seasons so far on their starting team as well, even just their rookie year like Haaland for example, so it is not a must.

It doesn't guarantee that players been together for many years neither, sometimes it helps, but that doesn't mean you will win. At the end of the day what matters is talent of the players and how much they fit the system of the manager who has to be talented as well. If you have that, you have a good chance to win.
