It was a beautiful confrontation between two different strategies, and it was a little surprising to see how Real sometimes pressed close to their goal and allowed City to carry out positional attacks, there are probably only a few teams in the world, who can play like that against Real Madrid. The match turned out to be very good, Guardiola probably achieved his goal, City did not lose, and just a little was not enough to win.

At least I am also satisfied with the number of goals in that match. Both teams played very fiercely and showed the quality of their respective games. It's just that for Real Madrid this may not be satisfactory enough. because of course they hope to win in the home match. But all that happened was that the match resulted in a draw. And this is the same as last season. So Man City might be able to benefit more in the second leg when they host it later.

I also saw that Arsenal and Bayern got a draw in the first leg match. In the end, I didn't watch much of Arsenal's matches. because I became too focused on the Man City and Real Madrid match. But I saw the footage and yes I can say that the Arsenal vs Bayern match was also very extraordinary.

Yes that's right. I was very entertained by last night's match. Both clubs showed the beauty of football and the six goals were very classy for both teams.

I just realized that not all teams have a good philosophy in playing football. So far Carlo Ancelotti is good at coaching and able to play effectively. Effective play is Carlo's philosophy. He was once a weak coach when coaching Everton because he got players with poor quality. With a good team, Ancelotti can play a good game like in Madrid.

Regarding Pep Guardiola's philosophy, he is a coach who has a mixed philosophy of Tiki Taka and short offensive passes that lock in the opponent's defense. And so far Pep Guardiola has been quite successful because he is at a club full of quality players. It is not surprising that their second meeting with a good team produced astonishing results. Both teams still have the same chance of qualifying for the semifinals. I think the second leg will be more exciting.

Two of the best clubs met early to put on a great show, in fact it was the best match in a couple of seasons, more goals, more attacks, Real Madrid had the better of the counter attacks that's what we saw in this match.

Arsenal vs Bayern Munich was also interesting but I was stunned by the big match Real Madrid vs Man City because it was obviously a match that was watched all over the world, even though my bet was not right but we were very entertained by this match.

I don't know, I feel like history may repeat itself like it did last season... City were able to make a very difficult task away, which will most likely be a defeat for Real Madrid in the next game... They don't have any advantage to win in Manchester... Of course it could be a battle like yesterday, but City are definitely favourites at home...

I think the odds are 50-50 now. Just as Bayern Munich drew 2-2 in England, Arsenal can score a lot of goals away and maybe win. Their only path to the championship is through this tournament. They have to be the best in the tournament to win the championship, and the first target for this will be the rematch.

Arsenal really start the game very well but they later became too soft which cost them the game. But I wonder why you feel disappointed in Arsenal for not defeating Bayern Munich. If not for the recent set back Bayern is having, they are not in any way match with Arsenal. Despite Bayern's recent challenges, I did not expect Arsenal to play to this extent and even end up with a draw result. It was a good result for Arsenal to me.

With no doubt, Allianz Arena is going to be like hell for Arsenal. As predicted, Arsenal failed to grab the victory at their backyard with stadium full with their supporters and it will be Bayern's turn to fill their stadium with their own supporters too on the return leg. Bayern still remains the favorite since they are not longer competing for their domestic league title again, their focus will now be totally on the UCL title. Arsenal away records are not too bad and you know football is full of surprises, they might turn things around on the second leg thou I doubt the possibility but we have to cross our leg and watch when the time comes.

I have been predict this match before that i said although Arsenal is the favourite but pick them as betting option is a bit risky because although Arsenal performance at their domestic league is unstoppable but there is no guarantee they will extended their fantastic records on Champion league this because the atmosphere of Champion league is very different compared to Premier League and now it just happend that Arsenal only can playing draw and for second leg indeed Bayern Munich performance in Bundesliga is decline but i still considers them as strong team in Champion league and at Allianz Arena i think obviously Bayern Munich can overcomes Arsenal and advances to semifinal

And for the match Real Madrid vs Manchester City apparently Real Madrid still cannot improved their meeting records from Manchester City that although they were playing at their home but unfortunately Real Madrid only playing draw from Manchester City even they have to hard struggling to gets draw result from this match and for second leg obviously Manchester City has good chances to win the match and my prediction for second leg is Manchester City will beat Real Madrid

Many goals, three for each team, and things in the match changed very quickly. From 0 - 1, Real Madrid turned it to 2 - 1 within 5 minutes and in the second half, from 1 - 2, Manchester City turned it to 3 - 2 very quickly, again within about 5 minutes.

In latest seasons, Real Madrid did not have comfortable experience at Etihad stadium and they lost their with many conceded goals, 3 - 4 and 0 - 4. This draw at Bernabeu stadium is not a good result for Real Madrid and with latest bad results home away, big challenge is waiting for them next week.

It's normal to see Haaland was controlled by Rudiger but Jude looked not too ready for the match. He looked tired that affect his performance a lot but we can see Foden, did not create any danger to Real Madrid in the first half but suddenly played better in the second half, two distant shots and one of them turned to an equalizer for Manchester City.

Bayern Munich is in their worst form this season, and that was why Arsenal was able to draw the match. Arsenal is in their super form, and the only thing they could do was to fight for a draw in Emirates stadium. However, a draw is better than losing, since both teams needs to struggle their way out in the second leg, and that will be on how they play on that day.

Bayern Munich on the one hand, might not be able to win the game as expected Allianz area, because they are not the Munich that we use to know anymore. So I cannot put my hope on them to win the match, I am on 50-50 chance that any of them can win the game.

Real Madrid - Manchester city was an exciting match to say the least. I watched the whole thing and it was a pure spectacle, a very beautiful beat and replay. The first 3 goals came in the first 15 minutes of the game and it was already foreshadowed that it would be a match full of sudden twists and turns, the only sore point was the near absence of the two most expected players, haaland and bellingam were hardly seen throughout the match.

Bayern Munich gained a significant advantage by drawing away. Arsenal competed against the worst Bayern Munich in many years, they should have won this match. A very challenging atmosphere will be waiting for them at Allianz Arena. If Bayern can gain home field advantage, they will definitely advance to the next round.

Great dominance and possession of the ball is actually not a benchmark for a club to win in a match and indeed it happened in this match where we can see even though Arsenal are a little better but we know that today's match is really worth it and even though the draw is actually very worth it, especially seeing the two clubs playing where they are big clubs.

Anyway, the 2 games yesterday were really interesting and I'm happy with the 2 games that happened regardless of the result it was a decent situation that happened because in my opinion the draw even though it didn't really benefit the home club but it was still quite good than not getting a win at all.

The last two goals from Manchester City were scored by Phil Foden and Joško Gvardiol due to careless pressure from Real Madrid defenders and how easily for Phil Foden make shots without any block yet. It was a dream night for me honestly.    This could really be the best way to start a Champions League quarter final phase. We watched 10 goals in 2 games which is insane! I watched Real Madrid - Manchester City and I'm so happy to choose that one to watch. Both halves were very entertaining. Imagine a game in which there are 6 goals and all of them are of an incredible kind.

After many comebacks we watched finally it ended by 3-3. I think Manchester City will still eliminate Real Madrid at Etihad but I hope we watch a similar game to this again.    We didn't see De Bruyne in the game and Guardiola explained it like he was unwell. This was still no issue for them as they scored three goals.

Real Madrid team is always strong at home. However, Manchester City's players managed to perform well at home to Madrid as the match ended in a 3-3 draw. I'd say it's a good enough result for Madrid. Both teams performed well.

The second leg match will be more competitive. City are favorites in Manchester City's home match and there's no telling if they'll win. Real Madrid proved in the first leg that they are no longer dependent on Bellingham's performance alone. Madrid are now strong and stable as a team. So both the teams are likely to win in the second leg match as well.

So true, and I completely agree with your points above since arsenal has overhauled its squad under the new management and owner. It's been a long time since last game Arsenal played against Bayern munich and it has proven that how arsenal has lower qualify compared to the bayern. Arsenal has undergone numerous changes in its squad, management, and even the owner, but beating Bayern Munich remains a difficult task for Arsenal and this is also showing that if bayern is still superior compared to the arsenal at this moment.
I'm overjoyed with this result because it means Bayern Munich will have a better chance of eliminating Arsenal from the competition in the future and i hope arsenal will leave from UCL caused by it's too weak to compete in the UCL this time. I appreciate all of the work from Arsenal's former player Gnabry, who gave an outstanding performance against the Gunners at Emirates Stadium and it was so amazing to see that happens.
People have high expectations that Arsenal will destroy Bayern when they are still weak, but I appreciate that Arsenal has tried everything they can to beat Bayern, but it has all failed and bayern showed that how good the performance from the club. Bayern is too strong for Arsenal and im hoping arsenal will able to show better performance.
This is the truth, and I am confident that Bayern will use the home game to destroy Arsenal, proving that Arsenal is still as weak as it was last season when it lost to Sporting in the Europa League.

For me Bayern perfectly executed their game plan and they got the result they wanted to get in the Emirates stadium. Àrsenal missed a big opportunity by not winning this particular match. Just like you have rightly stated, Arsenal even at their best form couldn't defeat this struggling Bayern Munich team, which is arguably the worst Bayern team we have seen in years. Arsenal will now have to work very hard to win Bayern in their home next week when they play the return leg, but I doubt if Bayern will give them that opportunity.

I would say forget past records. There is no doubt that Bayern Munich are a very strong and experienced team in the Champions League. However, I have not seen such a strange and weak performance from this team in the last 4/5 years, as Bayern Munich are doing this season.

Bayern Munich lost their last Bundesliga match against a weak team like Heidenheim. They managed to draw the match against Arsenal. A draw in an away match cannot be called a bad result. However, Bayern Munich's overall performance in this match was not satisfactory. The performance of Arsenal players was better in this match compared to Munich. So I would say from Munich, we  should not have high expectations this season.

In my opinion, Bayern Munich is not a weak team, and if you look at their five matches, Bayern Munich has an extraordinary record against Arsenal and has managed to achieve three wins, one draw and one defeat in their last five meetings. Apart from that, Bayern Munich has a lot of extraordinary experience in the UCL compared to Arsenal. And in the Bundesliga Bayern Munich is also in second place in the standings, so if you think Bayern Munich is a weak team, you are very wrong because Bayern Munich is one of the dangerous teams in the UCL.
And Arsenal actually has the ability to win the match against Bayern Munich, it's just that they played too recklessly.
