Will you say that what Upamecano did inside the 18 yard box was a mistake, I don't think so and that was an intentional act. Before the penalty kick, Bayern Munich was finding it difficult to breakthrough Lazio's defense and Lazio was able to breakthrough Bayern defense several times in the first half, but they couldn't find the back of the net. It was a victory that Lazio deserves.

Imagine Bayern Munich had 15 shots, but none of them was on target, this shows how strong Lazio defenders are, for making sure that Bayern shots were not accurate to their goal post. Bayern needs to work on how they can penetrate Lazio defense in Germany because the Romans might be this dangerous in the second leg.

A lot of gamblers lost their money in this match. I would  say it was an accident. No one expected Bayern  Munich, one of the strongest rivals fighting for the Champions League title, to lose against a mediocre team like Lazio. This result was completely unexpected.

However, I was not happy  with Bayern Munich's overall  performance in this match. I thought Munich would  dominate the match, but Munich could not dominate the match in the first half. Munich's performance  slowed further after Dayot received a red card in the 67th minute. However,  despite not winning the away match, Munich still have  a chance to qualify for the  next round. Munich should win the home match by a big margin.

I expressed my opinion about Tuchel for Bayern a long time ago, he is not yet ready to be the coach of such a team, his decisions regarding players are simply ridiculous, I don’t know what he bases his choice on, but it was his mistakes that led to Bayern’s defeat in the match with Bayer and also the same thing happened in the match with Lazio. In the match with Bayer, Bayern made one shot on target, in the match with Lazio, none, something is clearly wrong with Bayern...

Thomas Tuchel has really turned this mighty Bayern Munich into an average team. It's now two straight loses in a row but this time around with a zero shot on goal for 90 minutes. I don't understand why he keeps benching one of their best defender game after game. There's more much more confidence when de Light is on the pitch. Upamecano has been making too many mistakes since last year especially in crucial matches and it seems he is not learning from his mistakes because it's getting worse. He costs the team some precious previous matches and now he has done it again.

I think Tuchel game plan is not suitable for these players. They have more to offer far beyond Tuchel's imagination. They have proven their best performance during Nagelsmann. With available players, they managed to win but everything has changed now absolutely.

Teams of different levels. Sociedad has too many losses and too energy-intensive football, and PSG under Enrique knows how to endure and stifle, another thing is that PSG's midfield is still their weak point. Zaire-Emery is mega-talented, but very young, Ruiz and Vitinha are too weak for level of the Champions League. They will easily pass Sociedad, but against Real and City with such a midfield there is little chance. It was lucky that they got RS who miraculously came out of first place. In 1-4 with such a game it’s not that there is nothing to do, there are just very, very few chances .

Very very bad performance from bayern munich. I never imagine that if it will be ended with 0 goal attempts against lazio. I must be honest that if serie a club has very strong defensive line. Im thinking that if bayern may also get the same result for the second leg. I think that if bayern needs to learn a lot from this game.
The club was obviously did nothing in that match. Im feeling so amazed with napoli caused by it was able to hold bayern munich with narrow score. Even though lazio was leading the game but the situation can change anytime depending on the result from the game.

Bayern is just going even crazier than before caused by it looked like a very weak team after tuchel was going there. I hope that he can be replaced as soon as possible caused by it was a shame for a club with 1 billion valuation unable to score against it.

I wish I didn't add Bayern Munich to win to my parlay also.    I hoped to see a day with no surprise results again but I shouldn't have been very optimistic about that. I was confident about PSG but was having second thoughts about Bayern Munich. Bayern Munich just showed a terrible performance last night. 17 shots but 0 on target...

They wasted unbelievable goal chances also. Upamecano's very dangerous foul just brought their end. I think he definitely deserved the red card there even though it wasn't intentional.

Probably we will watch a way better Bayern Munich in Germany but there is no return for my loss. 

Things like this are happening. People have too much hope for Bayern Munich that they are going to win the game, so it surprises everybody that they lost to Lozio, and it's too bad for a team like Bayern Munich to lose to Lozio because Lozio is a weak team when compared to Bayern Munich's current performance. Seriously, Lozio were lucky to win the game, and it was tough for Bayern Munich to break their defense because that is what Lozio did in that game; they played defensive game. Although I know that they played defensive game, even if Bayern Munich scores, it shouldn't be much, but it happens to be that they are the lucky people to win the match.

There are always accidents in football, many people are making a big fuss about Bayern losing against Lazio, it seems like Bayern conceded a lot of goals and were eliminated when that is far from being true, Bayern conceded a goal thanks to a penalty, it was a accident and this happened in the 69th minute of the game, with a reduced player and we are not talking about just any player, we are talking about Dayot Upamecano who is a defensive player, with this reduction the Bayern coach would no longer have any reason to risk being attacking a lot, he needed to focus on defense to get out of this game with only 1 goal conceded, that was the best solution. With this defeat of just 1 goal conceded, Bayern has a chance to reverse this result in the next game

this season bayern lacks more good strikers like kane, before kane arrived at bayern, they had serious problems in attack, but kane cannot play alone on the field, in my opinion they should sell the remaining strikers and only keep kane, and then they would buy other attackers who could play with kane. This in my opinion is the best solution. In defense, Bayern needs to improve a lot too, they should sell some defensive players and hire other players for the defense. These improvements have to be made in the next transfer window if Bayern wants to win the Bundesliga next season

Yesterday PSG showed an excellent performance in the game against Real Sociedad, they managed to score 2 goals, didn't concede a goal and had 63% possession of the ball. It's true that as they were playing at home, they had a greater obligation to win, but the fact that it was a game in which PSG managed to dominate, to emerge victorious without conceding a goal, gives hope that with this current coach, perhaps PSG will reach further in this season's champions league. I don't know what's happening with Real Sociedad in the league, they haven't won 3 consecutive games and in the last 5 games they've only won in just 1 game, if they continue with this poor performance in the next games, then in the next game PSG could win again .

I have a different view on this, because it is undeniable that the goals that Laazio can create come from there so that they can create the only goals that come in this match. But I don't mean to blame, because in a match anything can happen.
Here Lazio clearly managed to apply a defense that was very difficult to penetrate, so Bayern Munich did not have many open opportunities that they could convert into goals. Apart from that, Bayern Munich failed to be creative in building attacks, they could not find weak points that could be exploited. Perhaps Lazio's victory can be said to be lucky and can be said not, because they cannot be said to be lucky because they show solid defense, while it can be said to be lucky because of the goals that were born due to Bayern Munich's mistakes.

Not sure how much of that is caused by Tuchel's own doing though, especially with his latest comments on Barcelona's job. Anyway, hard to know the inside story without any bias as an outsider, but match-wise it is clear that Bayern failed to create any decent chance with 0 shots on target iirc. Maybe they got a bit unlucky too with the red card, seeing that they managed to arguably control the game to some extent before but failed to capitalize on it[1]. On the other hand, Lazio has a higher xG which might suggest they are more dangerous on the counter/attacking phase compared to Bayern, so 1 goal difference is probably deserved.

I'd be surprised if anyone managed to predict they would get a red card. Seeing from the stats, it seems like any interesting development happens in the 2nd half, so that's that. CMIIW.

I will not blame the red card received by Upamecano because from the start Bayern Munich played very badly. How can it be that one of the teams that is nominated to win the Champions League this season can't even break into Lazio's goal and they couldn't even get a single shot on target in last night's match. It is very strange to see Bayern Munich's performance continuing to decline since the defeat against Leverkusen in the domestic league.

On the other hand, I see that Lazio is even better and can control the tempo of the match as much as they want. Even though we know that Lazio can only put up a strong defense when facing a team that has an attacking style like Bayern Munich, they can at least shoot on target 4 times. Well, Lazio's only goal was scored by Immobile from the penalty spot and that was because of a foul committed by Upamecano. In the second leg, Bayern Munich must be able to reverse the aggregate if they don't want to be embarrassed in front of their fans.

Despite the red card,I think Bayern Munich's performance was really awful, they were the least expected to lose that game but then the reverse was the case, i think their fans would really be disappointed at them losing to Lazio even though they're away from home. However it a good thing that they managed to defend properly after conceding a goal, which means there's hope for them in the returning leg. Thomas Tuchel should do everything possible to win that game else if they get kicked out in this stage then it means his managerial days at Bayern Munich would come to an end after this season.

 However the club that suprised me yesterday is PSG, they won 2-0 against Real Sociedad and their performance in the game was brilliant, does it mean that PSG are back in the UCL, could this be their season, well let's see how it goes. But I amazed that the were victorious without much help from their star player Mbappé in finding the back of the net.

Last night the champions league match did a parlay bet somewhat disappointed with the result of Bayern Munich because it had to lose plus they did not have a shot on goal, usually Bayern Munich is not like this.

Is Thomas Tuchel incompetent in handling Bayern Munich, because previously in the Bundesliga also had to lose and then in the Champion League lost again, we know that Bayern Munich are always confident when playing in the UCL but this time they lost their way even though Lazio's goal was a penalty.
