The level gap between Manchester City and Copenhagen is too great and there is no reason why Manchester City will have difficulty winning the round of 16. On paper, City shouldn't have any serious problems when they play against Copenhagen in the round of 16 of the Champions League. even though the first leg match was held at Copenhagen headquarters, the fact is that these two teams have quite a clear gap. we can refer to the betting market, even though it is temporary, City is far superior even though the match is played at Copenhagen's home ground. Manchester city have played most of their games this season without Kevin De Bruy e yet they were still able to make some good impression a d attained good position on the league table and their domestic league aswell so I think they are still doing great even in his absence,, although his presence is of great impact to the team too.

It's very true that if he is present he will be of great help to the Manchester city team especially  in the champions league but then in their domestic league they may be able to cope, it will be even worse if halands absence continues because some how Manchester citys strength is built around these players but this doesn't mean they don't perform in their absence but their performance is usually different and characterized with lesser goal as with when these guys are present playing.

Talking about Manchester City's problems in the Champions League, I don't think they will have any problems because even though KDB was not there before, their dominance was maintained even we can see where in the group phase they can get perfect results with 6 wins without losing in the group phase which proves that their dominance is unstoppable even without the presence of KDB in the squad.

Now the Round of 16 we just need to wait for that and KDB and Haaland will definitely return to them especially the opponent is only Copenhagen which although they are quite troublesome but in terms of strength and experience of course Manchester City is better for now so I am quite confident in the strength that Manchester City has.

Everyone is quick with predictions when we have a game where the powers are so imbalanced between two contenders, but in this case there is a good reason to come up with a quick prediction. I think it would be the surprise of the century if Copenhagen kicks Manchester City out of the Champions League.

Really imagine that would happen. The whole world would be sitting in front of their TVs with shocked faces like never before. And Denmark would celebrate a party like never before, probably as if they had just won the World Cup.

Of course, the team will be affected by the absence of one of the best midfielders in the game despite the fact that guadiola is brilliant coach and has a stable team like Manchester city, the team has continued to miss his presence and I doubt their future in the champions league will be certain any further if guadiola don't something or the midfield Mysterio come backs soon because the next round is one that is filled with teams that hungry to qualify.

"...Since 2018/19, it no longer matters whether those players have already played in the competition for another club, even for another club still in the competition."

I think this should be the answer to our question whether a player is allowed to play in the Champions League for the new club if he has already played for another club in the same competition. The deadline to nominate the newly transferred player is as mentioned above (February 2nd in 2023 for 2023). I didn't check what the deadline is for 2024, but we basically now know that three players can be nominated regardless of their potential appearance in the competition for another club.
