I don't believe in curses actually. Kane is a great striker but unfortunately he always fails to win trophies. I doubt this season Munich will win the Bundesliga. They have a new coach and I see Kompany has not proven anything. I need to watch some games to see if Kompany can really make Munich back into a title contender.

Kane is good and a talented striker in that matter, but the thing is, I think if a player is good, he also needs a good team to play for before he can recognize it, and right now, we can't say Bayern Munich is not because they deformed in one season; they have been doing well in the Bundesliga competition. Kompany can also do well next season, even though we are still yet to see the prove, but if we look at Bayern Munich players mentality, we will know that they are still strong and things will change for the better.

Kane is good. But I can't really understand why people were blaming him. In fact, Kane is one of the most consistent strikers in this era. It's proven with all of his personal achievements. Kane has always performed well. But, I understand if his team was the problem that made him struggle to win the trophy.

All of Kane's personal achievements above have proven how Kane is a good striker, even if he is not young anymore. I think Bayern were unlucky last season. An internal incident hurt their confidence.

It's interesting to see how good the new squad, assembled by Kompany, is in the Bundesliga. Leverkusen, last season's winner, will likely compete to defend its title. It's going to be a tough season for Bayern Munich.

If we remember how Vini came to Real Madrid in the past and he was almost labeled a failed purchase because of his lack of finishing in front of goal but what Vini has shown in the last 3 years is the result of his hard work because he wants to wear the Los Blancos uniform longer. In addition, there are also quite a few Real Madrid players who have a market value of over 100m euros and that's all because of the process they have produced so far.

So if a team wants to win this competition then they have to learn a lot from Real Madrid and maybe for now until the next few years the champion will still be the same and maybe Real Madrid will try to reach the peak of success three times winning the champions league in a row as happened in 2016, 2017, and 2018.

Yes, the progress of the players at Real is incredible. About Vinny in his first years at Real, Benzema said "don't pass him the ball", and about Benzema, Ronaldo said the same  Grin But in the end both of these players (I think few doubt Vinny) received/will receive the Ballon d'Or and the fact that they reached the highest level is indisputable. Another good example of how Real changes players is Kroos - Bayern got rid of him for a pittance and in Real he became a top player and collected titles in batches (destroying Bayern along the way).
LoL that of Toni kroos really got me cracking, I believe Bayern Munich will later regret selling out kroos to Real Madrid, as the guy later became an  unstoppable beast for Madrid, up to a point they got so use to him to to extent that, when he tendered his plans not to extend his contract with Madrid, Carlos Ancelotti didn't find it welcoming. Toni's move to Madrid really improved his career. David alaba too is on the same pedestrian with kroos but injuries and lack of playing time has so far affected his move to Madrid, maybe these coming season we will see him play regularly, as that defensive midfield needs more tightening for Madrid as kroos is Leaving.

And you have to imagine that Real Madrid has made some really strong transfers this year and the team will be much stronger next year than last year. I don't see any team in the world that can compete with them (at the moment) and accordingly I believe that Real Madrid will be the clear winner of the CL next year.
In fact, Real Madrid continues to make improvements every season and it's not really because of the big transfers they made this year and more about the handling of all the staff involved in creating a deadly squad to destroy their opponents in Europe. Just imagine they can always make an immature player and transform into a star in the team and the number will continue to grow if they patiently wait for their turn.

This is not enough reason to conclude that they won't do well this season, before then their major aim was to achieve the Bundesliga title and that of Europa cup trophy and unfortunately for them they failed to deliver at final, however at that time they have given their very best that season and the reason for the players to have gotten very much exhausted was on it highest level.

So far that no much changes is done to the team, they're currently the favourite team to win until proven wrong. they played unbeaten before they lifted their league title and they lost the final game at Europa competition, that's a lot of energy and effort that must have been put in by the team.
They still maintain the squad that managed to achieve success last season and the transfer market is used to improve the quality of their squad, failure in the Europa League Final last season is a valuable lesson for them and they must always be aware of anything that can harm them. Preparations for the new season's competition have been made, they will remain at their best performance even though the path to the final is not easy.

Leverkusen will be the dark horse team in UCL, they will give surprise to other teams with the high confidence of their players. Their playing style will not change and they are still a team that is able to provide competition, Manchester City and Real Madrid are still above their level, but it is not impossible for them to be able to beat these teams because surprises always come in football.

Leverkusen's strategy is starting to be read by his opponents, at the end of the 2023/2024 season Leverkusen almost lost several times.
I'm pretty sure Bayern can win the Bundesliga in the next season but not with the UCL, Madrid and Mancity will still be the clubs that dominate and win the UCL.
For Kane, he still has 3 years left on his contract with Bayern - soon or later he will definitely win some trophies with Bayern.

Leverkusen's last season's Bundesliga win was more than just effort. Indeed, they gave it their all, but thats inevitable in every championship race. Leverkusens unique quality was their strategic genius under Xabi Alonso. He out-thought and moved his rivals, not only inspired his players. That is the essence of a real winner. Those who discount Leverkusen's victory as a fluke or a question of chance just do not know the game.  This was about intelligence, on and off the field, not only about vitality. Leverkusen proved to the globe they are a force to be reckoned with. They changed what it means to be a champion, not only won the Bundesliga.

Everybody expecting Bayern Leverkusen to fall off next season but I don't see things that way. I honestly feel like they can win the Bundesliga back to back.
I happens... Even at the end of it all, they Bayern Leverkusen finally lost to Atalanta during the European Europa League Competition Finals.
But in the Bundesliga will be more different if you ask me truthfully. Xabi Alonso is a better manager than Vincent Kompany, I don't see him beating Xabi Alonso to the Bundesliga this year too.

The Champions League Competition is a tough call, this would be his first Champions League debut as a manager so he'll enjoy and try to get the best out if it. Hopefully Harry Kane wins something before he retires. Would be sad to see such great player winning nothing.
I don't see many people predicting that Leverkusen will slump next season, in fact what I see is that many of them hope that Leverkusen can maintain its performance next season like last season or even improve. This means that many people still want to see the competition in the Bundesliga become more interesting after Bayern Munich failed to defend their title last season.

Leverkusen will still be with Xabi Alonso, this is a challenge in itself for Xabi Alonso because he will be risking his future with Leverkusen where he has rejected many offers from big clubs who want to get his signature next season. If he fails next season, his value will decline again and many people will say what he achieved last season was a stroke of luck. However, if he is successful again, it will make him even more chased by big clubs in the following season.

First Leverkusen often almost lost at the end of last season because they had already locked the title, so they could play without any burden and maybe they were not focused on getting a win, because in fact they also did some rotations at that time.
Leverkusen shown some early signals of success two seasons ago when Xabi Alonso took over the coach position in second half of season and helped them to end a crisis, ranked up high on Bundesliga ranking table. Success in a last season is a good upgrade of Leverkusen but they need to take Napoli case as a warning for themselves.

Napoli after winning Scudetto in an impressive season, suddenly lost their best and last season they failed to finish in top four of Serie A. Leverkusen will face with a new season with many challenge from opponents in Bundesliga as well as Champions League.

Quote
Although I also agree that Leverkusen's opponents next season will be very alert and they will start reading more deeply to face Leverkusen's strategy. Second, I agree with you that Bayern Munich does not depend at all on Leverkusen's performance, they must focus on themselves.
Every team have strength and weakness and it's not exception for Leverkusen. One season and one summer for a season preparation is enough for many clubs in Bundesliga to do many research on Leverkusen and they will be better prepared than the last season to deal with Leverkusen and beat the unbeaten team throughout the last season.

Quote
When Leverkusen can maintain a good performance like last season, but if Bayern Munich can perform better than them then the title will be won again by Bayern Munich. So they should not look at what other teams can do, but they must bring out the best abilities they have.
Biggest opponent in Bundesliga, Bayern Munich does not stay silent and they are improving their squad and very ready to beat Leverkusen and get a domestic league crown back as soon as possible. I am sure Bayern Munich don't plan to lose the trophy to Leverkusen in two consecutive seasons.

Leverkusen have shown their prowess last season but there is no guarantee that they will be able to repeat all these achievements next season, currently Bayern Munich have recruited many players and also entrusted their team to Kompany as the new coach for next season, previously no one have thought if Alonso can able to bring glory to Leverkusen when he was first recruited as a coach, because in fact many fans actually expressed their disappointment over Leverkusen decision to recruit Alonso as a coach who at that time had no experience in coaching, but Alonso able to silence all these criticisms by bringing Leverkusen to glory after a long time, what happened to Alonso will probably happen to Kompany next season, especially since he trains a team that is full of star players so it won't be too difficult  for him to rebuild Munich next season, I personally also believe that Leverkusen will have a good performance next season, but to win the Bundesliga again of course I doubt that will happen.

Last season Alonso took Leverkusen to the European League final and he failed to win the trophy, so what can we expect from Leverkusen next season in the Champions League?
The Champions League is a league filled with the best teams in Europe and it will not be easy for Alonso and Leverkusen to conquer it next season, in the Bundesliga maybe they can compete again to win the championship trophy, but in the Champions League, I don't think they will able to do it.

Leverkusen may like not get any below their former performance and the success of Bayern Munich is in no way dependent on the performance of Leverkusen, they should rather be focused on themselves, if they win all their bundesliga league games, there's almost no way they are not going to win the league title except Leverkusen wins all their own games aswell which is not possible, only one team can win all of their games and you will ask how, of Bayern Munich wins all their bundesliga league games, it will  include the one they will be playing against Leverkusen which will mean that Leverkusen lost that game and that can serve as the point difference that will get Munich winning the title as against Leverkusen.

DFB Pokal is just a cheeseburger trophy, Harry Kane isn't a player that never get trophy, he won Torneio Internacional Algarve U17. What most people expect is he need to become a champion in domestic league.

I'm not really sure if curse isn't a real thing because we all know how Bayern Munich dominate the league and how good Harry Kane is, but Bayern Munich winning streak is gone after Kane's arrive.

I speculate that Bayern Munich will not become a champion in this season.

First of all +1 for 600 merits.

Everyone has the right to say whether Harry Kane's curse is true or not, because the accusation is not groundless, as you said, since Harry Kane's arrival, Bayern Munich has lost its tradition of winning streaks.

But for me, it's just a myth, there is nothing like that in football, would you dare to bet with me on who will be the Bundesliga champion?

To prove whether your words or mine are correct, of course i will choose Bayern Munich, just set the odds, call anyone who wants to be an escrow for our bet.

Such a curse does not exist but it cannot be denied that Kane still seems to be hit by bad luck.
Many opportunities to get trophies, not only at club level but also at international level for his country, it's just that he still hasn't been able to realize that which makes Kane stay without a title even though his performance is extraordinary.

Can't blame Kane completely either because for his performance at Bayern last season he was very good and even became the top scorer in the first season, it was clear that he was a decent player, it's just that his bad luck doesn't stop because it is precisely with his slick performance until now that he still hasn't given an expected achievement.
This season he will try again at Bayern with the probability of winning still very strong for now but there is no guarantee that he can get the trophy only that his hopes are great this season especially after last season failed and was overtaken by Leverkusen.
The curse or whatever it is is of course very appropriate to assume for Harry Kane because he is an attacker who has succeeded in showing his skill in scoring many goals but unfortunately he always fails to bring the team he plays for to become champions.
In my opinion, too, if this season he fails to win another trophy then he will be cursed not to win a prestigious trophy in his career. But I hope that's not true because Bayern Munich is a pretty strong team, of course this season they are very favorites to become champions.
It would be a different story if he had an injury that hampered him, but that didn't happen to him, so the Bayern Munich squad this season must be able to work together to win a trophy that can be awarded to Harry Kane.

I don't know... Whether Kane is in the wrong place or he has a curse like others say but I don't fully believe in myths and looking at Kane's performance is much better, it's just that he was unlucky again when he moved to Bayern Munich and did not feel lifting trophies for him.

I think this so called curse is just a story, I don't even know who it's aimed at. Obviously it's bollocks, because Kane scored a lot not only last season for Bayern but also as a Tottenham player, he's quite stable and still hasn't gone backwards, so it's clearly not him and his curse that's the problem, because Bayern didn't look their best last season as a whole
Tottenham Hotspur was actually the problem why Harry Kane have been without a title to his name? At professional stage, he's yet to do the basic necessities to win games and be in finals. The Harry Kane curse will continue to hunt Bayern Munich, it will be a long season without comprehending their hands on solid achievements. However they've Vincent Kompany who happens to be the new coach, he will bring into the room, spectacular game style which is different from the rest.
This story about the curse of a quality player is aimed at children. If he had a curse on him (which generally don't exist) he wouldn't be playing at such a high level, he is a player who has been top scorer many times. Bayern's problems started last season when Lewandowski left and they didn't have a good striker. They barely won the season then, and with Kane coming in, their problems gradually started to dissipate.

UCL is nothing like the leagues, while Real does win the La Liga quite commonly and also gets the UCL, we are talking about all other teams in the world. Just because you may dominate Serie A doesn't mean you will get any good at UCL, or just because you destroy everyone at ligue 1 doesn't mean you will do any good at UCL neither, same goes Bundesliga and Bayern, they managed to win once during their ten year tenure dominating the whole league.

So, it is clear that leagues don't matter when we are talking about the UCL situation. We can't look at the league and make a prediction based on that. Dortmund sucked at Bundesliga last year, they had no place being the finalist and yet they were and they played fairly well there.
Ate you trying to say that Real Madrid aren't formidable enough to dominate the UEFA Champions League or are you saying that the competition can't be dominated? Lest we forget, Real Madrid once dominated the competition by winning it in three consecutive seasons so I also believe that with the current squad in the team, they can still replicate that same feat. I understand when you say the UCL isn't as easy as every other league because of it's importance and the quality of teams that play in the competition but as far as the competition is concerned, Real Madrid knows gow to dominate and can still repeat their dominance again

Harry Kane went to Bayern Munich at the wrong time. He needed to win a trophy and the season he came they lose to an unknown team that went unbeaten. He is the most unfortunate player and now they have a new manager. The only thing that can make the season great for Bayern Munich is the players playing with all their minds and trying to take back their throne that was taken from them as they can't just depend on the manager to guild them to victory, the coach is very young and lack experience but if everybody work together, they can win the league as isn't very competitive. Bayern Munich winning the champion league chance reduced when they signed Victor kompany as their manager.
