One thing about this small clubs that we need to understand is that they do not have the finances to actually maintain this high level of football, after every fairy tale season they fall off because of player sales, this sales are something I can’t blame them for, it’s either they cash in big on the player or they risk keeping them and later losing them on a low amount. Also keeping this players is usually against the players wishes because most of them usually have the clubs of their dreams and when does clubs come for them they simply want to go, even if it means playing in the lower European competitions like the Europa league or conference league and this smaller clubs usually respect their wishes which is the best thing to do

The only time you can keep the high level performance of this teams is only when they have a very rich sponsors or owners that can run the club very well if not it is not usually possible. Take a look at the Leicester City side that won the Premier League, they tried to keep their players but in the end they still couldn’t keep them, because most of the players wanted the big club move. This same thing that happens with clubs having same story. So Girona and Bologna should just look for a way to manage the resources they have now and just motivate the remaining players to give their all and that’s it

Girona, excellent season last year, true Cinderella story, entering the Champions League. This ain't La Liga anymore. Deeper squads, more experience, and a heck of a lot more resources mean you are fighting against seasoned veterans

The new season will see the competition record another first timer as Spanish La Liga club Girona will be playing in European Cup for the first time since the formation of the club. Fir Girona, I'm not expecting anything big from them but will be happy to see them have a great performance in the competition. Football fans across the globe who enjoys every moment of the UCL have been starved of it's entertaining games and can't wait for it's return.

Fenerbahçe has established a very good player squad for the next season. I think they will win matches at this level, the motivation of the team is quite high right now and they are doing whatever it takes to win the matches.
They managed to score 4 goals in the first match. Now they will play on their home field, I think they will be much better. I think they will win this match without conceding a goal

Honestly, it is quite doubtful to expect Girona and Bologna to perform well in UCL. You must be aware that these teams have changed, they are no longer the same as the previous season. Some of the key players of Girona have moved to other teams, even their captain left the club. It will be very difficult to maintain the performance if some of key players are no longer in the squad. Meanwhile Bologna has changed their coach because Motta moved to Juventus. I am sure the performance of Bologna won't be the same as the previous season under the new coach. I don't see much of Man City's transfer policy, so if they don't add a lot of new players I think they're still the same as last season. In fact, I think Man City is still below Madrid.

With the new Champions league format taking effect from next season, we don't really know what will happen. But I don't want Manchester City or real Madrid to be the Champions for next season.

Everyone is aware that powerhouses are Real Madrid and Manchester City. They have Mbappe and Haaland, the players; they have the money. Football isnt simply about signing big names. Look at Arsenal. Though their star power is different, they have youthful, driven athletes ready to establish themselves. One of their managers is adept in maximizing their potential. Like Leicester City did back in 2016, they could surprise all of us.

While I appreciate underdog stories, I also know winners. For a reason Real Madrid and Manchester City are the favorites. Never undervaluate, yet, the strength of the human soul. The lovely game is somewhat nasty since it surprises a lot of people.

Real Madrid won the Champions League last season despite not having a striker on their squad, they defeated the best teams that we considered were the favorites to win the trophy, so we still consider Real Madrid to be the favorite to win the next Champions League. However, I do not believe we need to wait for the season to begin to figure out the favorite team to win the Champions League, it is obvious that Madrid is the favorite team because they still have the available players from the previous season, even without Mbappe, Real Madrid will dominate the next Champions League because they have Endric, another striker with the potential to score a lot of goals.

Furthermore, I believe Guardiola has the players to win the Champions League, but if Real Madrid is not eliminated from the competition, Manchester City will have a difficult time winning. Playing against Real Madrid is very risky since no team will be satisfied with their victory until the referee blows the final whistle, because the team can score a goal at any second and at any time to win their game.

What Girona did last season was really quite good because they were able to stay at the top of the standings and get a ticket to the Champions League.
