Heartbreaking loss for Liverpool, my condolences to all LFC and Premier League fans who were rooting for the Reds. I was right there with you, I really thought they were going to do it this year. They certainly played the better game, but the way Royal Madrid capitalizes on mistakes is unmatched in professional football.

It was just Liverpool against Thibaut Courtois, man was never going to be denied tonight, he literally won them this trophy!!! Looking back at how Real Madrid advance through every adversity right from the round of 16 against PSG, then Chelsea and Man City, I'd say it was just meant to be.
Yeah. Courtois it was, not Benzema really, who kept the win safe.
I know we're gutted but I liked how we reacted after the loss. Steadfast, grim, more angry within than sad, at least that's how I thought it looked. A long night and journey back to England for everyone, but this scar, like the one in 2018 four years ago from the same opponent, will put into us such a resolve that will make us scary.
Can't wait for next season.

Liverpool was much better in this match had over 20+ shots on goal but Courtous made some amazing saves and handed the champions league title to his team. Real Madrid again with less then 5 shots wins the match like in previous rounds
Liverpool made a lot of attack, but they wasn't able to break the defensive section of Real Madrid. Thibaut Courtois has blocked every attempts of Liverpool when they managed to break the defense. The goalkeeper deserve most of the credit for this victory. RMA players has missed some easy opportunity to score. They didn't try to make direct shots on goal from long distance. There would be more than one goal if they tried to do it. Anyway, Real Madrid has won the UCL for the 14th time. Real Madrid played better in the second half, while Liverpool couldn't maintain their balance in the game.

It is 9 shots on target from Liverpool. No team to shame, they both qualified for the final, it has not been easy but people hyped Liverpool too much but Real Madrid won Champions League again. I was not expecting anything much from Liverpool than Real Madrid to win or the match should lead to draw and penalty as Liverpool did not successfully win any league or cup this season without playing penalty.

That was a very exciting match
As per my expectations and in the end what I chose was not in vain. Madrid became champions, from the start I was sure even though I was under pressure in the first half. But Madrid in the last minute showed a good defensive strategy. Very grateful to the goalkeeper for being a hero in this match. Courtois appeared extraordinary defending his goal.
Liverpool performed very well, despite losing but the quality of the players has shown that they deserve to be in the final.

Actually Liverpool played extremely well in the match, they were unlucky, but their performance was excellent. All praise gose to Courtois for making some great saves and as well save Real Madrid.Congratulations to all Real Madrid players, it was a great season as the won Laliga Title and Champions league. I can see Marcello was very happy as has his last Champions league for Real Madrid.

real madrid play very calmly, this is what makes them true champions. Liverpool looks very ambitious with a win, this can be seen from the "shot" that Liverpool did, it's really a lot compared to Madrid. once again congrats to real madrid and fans. 
Absolutely gutted. Honestly, man of the match has to be Courtois without him we would've been running away with the tie. Well, a brilliant season for Liverpool regardless, which unfortunately will be forgotten due to the only silverware won being the cups, which Klopp, and us fans have pretty much not cared about in the past. While, I do like winning them, there's nothing like winning the Premier league or Champions League. Just a disappointing end to the season. Well done to Real Madrid, they aren't the team they used to be, i.e attacking, and exciting, but they're pretty damn good at what they do.

At the beginning of the second half of the match, the tempo was a little slow. Honestly, I expected the Champions League final to be better. After Real Madrid scored, there was some movement in the game. But Real Madrid dominated the game as they wanted. They didn't play good quality football, but they knew how to win. In games like this, the most important thing is to win. Real Madrid managed to win. Congratulations to Real Madrid and their supporters.
Congratulations to Real Madrid for qualifying as champions, despite the Handball controversy you have witnessed. In fact the final whistle has been blown. It was incredibly stressful and we saw for the umpteenth time Real Madrid were champions again.

Real Madrid have their goalie Thibaut Courtois to thank in this final, he made many important stops for Real Madrid and definitely deserves to be recognised as the Man of the Match. Real Madrid have really had a good run in this competition, they have not played the best football but they somehow always manage to get the job done. Real Madrid took good advantage of their chances, not so many attempts but playing more confidently in this second half has earned them the win.Congratulations Real Madrid and Karim Benzema who most definitely is the most eligible for the Ballon d'or.

Liverpool can do nothing about this game , Real Madrid will win the Champions League . The fact that Real Madrid were able to score Liverpool one goal that is the end of the game, Real Madrid won't allow this score to change by Liverpool scoring a goal. It is sad that Liverpool can't do anything winner the game.
