A really good France performance yesterday. I felt that they should have been given a penalty as well for that Hummels - Mbappe clash but the french team defended really well at the end.
Benzema is a great addition to the team, he really helps them build and he's really good in defending from the front too.

Regarding today - I feel that Russia will beat Finland easily. Finland really played badly against Denmark and were really lucky, Russia is playing at home and need this win. They weren't really good against Belgium but I feel they are a much better team than Finland.

I'm actually more surprised that Germany played so well and stood very good, it was difficult for France to get through and the goal was also a bit of luck.

Russia plays horribly! This is not football, but a circus! (While writing the post, they finally managed to score a goal!)
Too bad the Finns didn't get a goal scored! On the replay you could see that Finn's foot position was not offside...  I think VAR's are killing football!

I hope it continues like this and Finland equalizes, I bet on a draw.  Tongue

Russia are not the best surely. They had no much different performance than Finland. But Miranchuk's goal was really delightful. Now, Russia seem to be like they want to end the match with this score if possible. Finland have increased their attacks and they are even better in the second half. I feel like they can equalize the score soon.

VAR is killing football? It was clear offside and this is why we have VAR. The referee had a hard time in differentiating the small margin and he called for VAR. And it clearly showed that the Finnish player was in offside position. But I agree with you on Russia. They wasted so many good opportunities. And the player who performing the best got injured (Mario Fernandes). Also some of the Russians got yellow card for very unfair tackles. At this point, even a draw would be enough for Finland. Because they already have 3 points from their previous game.

^  Thanks for this.  I think the regulars in the gambling section needs some sort of site or maybe even just a thread that compares the lines of some of the more important matches of a sporting event.  I think it’s possible to scrape the odds via a python script and copy them into a database?  Can anybody tell me how this can be done?
there's a website that does this, it's called 'bestodds.ai' (Ann thread). But i think the devs haven't updated it in a while cos they're not using too many bookies for the comparisons

and yeah, @Stalker22 with the tables before every watch, good stuff 👍

Yesterday's game confirmed experts opinions that France is one of the main candidates for the European Championship. The statistics do not confirm this, but it looked as if they were constantly in control of the situation on the pitch. Even though at times it didn't seem like they were playing to 100% of their abilities, I got the feeling that if they had to win this game 3-0, they would. I am curious how they will perform in the match against Portugal, although it is very possible that in the last group match we will see the competition of the reserve squads.
I also believe France will qualify from the group stage and even before the tournament starts I make a quick conclusion without making any analysis, there I predict the final will belong to Italy vs France. But unfortunately in that prediction I put Italy as the champion, because after the tournament was running I saw the potential for France to become champion was very big. It's not about the result of last night's game, I just feel France has a bigger potential to be champions this year.

Finland vs Russia will be starting in few minutes from now
And there is no doubt I'm expecting reaction from Russia after that harsh results against Belgium. Belgium dominance was not of a surprise but it's still not a result Russia will have be happy with.
As for Finland they are still buzzed after that victory over Denmark despite of what happened . They are going to search for a draw here will almost as it will certainly see them earn a place in last16 .
But Russia needed a win so it will be attack versus defence. It just depends if Finland can withstand Russians attacks.
My betting tip would be better to go for under 2.5 goals for this match.
There is only 11 Minutes played and i dont watching it but  my tip goes for Russia also against Finland .
Belgium was a house number to big for the Russians last time and they playing very good specialy with there striker.
If Russia losing this match or playing a draw about Finland i guess that was it with them.

As for France - Germany, what can I say, great France and disappointing Germany.
Talking about today, the second day of the group stage A begins and Roberto Mancini's Italy is back on the field. After having easily beaten Turkey in the first match, the Azzurri face what is probably the toughest opponent in the group, Switzerland. The Swiss, however, did not go beyond a draw in their debut match against Wales. Although they played better, they showed their usual inconclusiveness in the goal area, which is why Italy is favored for another victory.
Turkey aims to recover against Wales, but will have to pay attention to Ramsey and Bale: a game with many goals is probable. Russia, after the collapse against Belgium, cannot make a mistake against Finland, and the victory should be within reach.

I just watched the first half and didn't expect the score to last 1-0 until the end of the match. France was lucky enough that Germany didn't manage to score on several occasions. It was a tough game for them and Hummels' goal saw France win the game. Portugal now leads the group standings followed by France in second.

I would say Germany is very lucky. Mbappe and Benzema were able to score two goals. But both goals are offside. Otherwise, Germany would have lost 3-1. Although Germany played well enough. They also made some extraordinary attacks. Germany's gameplay needs to be further improved. Otherwise, they will not be able to reach the next round.

Yes benzema is a good addition to the team he's clearly the best forward in the team right now on the other hand but i feel sorry for germany too the played well but they lack a good striker to put the ball in the net, as for russia they are clearly better than finland and i think they will win.

Well deserved France win. Germany looked disappointing. France defense was very solid today, they didn't let Germany make even 1 shot on target.
The Germans were a better team in the second half of the game, they had few chances to equaliser but Gnbary was not clinical enough they had 3 clear chances to make it 1-1, the French team lost balance in the second they went deep playing on counter attack I still feel the Germany deserve  a point in that game.

Germany was not the same since the last Euro I think it was a reasonable match results between them two France deserved the 3 points and . Frankly, Pogba made a great match, especially in his distinguished passes behind the German defenses and down the sides, and he was one of the reasons for the only goal in the match.
On the other hand, the Germans started well, but they paid a great price because of the spaces behind their backs, with no explicit striker or even a front crew capable of creating and scoring opportunities.
France's transformations were excellent, Pogba's passes, Kante's strength, Griezmann, Mbappe and Benzema's breakthroughs, so the superiority was strongly present.
Congrats to France for sure as they won the game , but the only reason for this one goal was the goal that was done from an German (hummels).
And also thats right that the France players was strongly present , but the germany was present also .
Guess when the German coach would be playing more creative with other players that would be bringing more to the playing flow from germany.
But we will see whats coming next against Portugal.
The France win was deserved.

Portugal was expected, I had a single on that game! But I missed Germany vs France, I had a feeling it will be tricky... and it was!

Portugal was expected, agree, but watching the game, even 1:0 for Hungary in the end was possible and would be earned
Hungary missed their big chance ten minutes before the end, Portugal scored simple goal in '84, and Hungary's play was completely down, then Portugal had penalty, and match ended 3:0 as they blown Hungarians away, while most of the time (85 minutes), match was pretty close

Interesting predictions!

Like you, I think all three games today will be very close... I wouldn't dare to predict exact scores, and to be honest except for Italy to win I wouldn't bet on Turkey and Russia to win!
I will probably bet on goals today... and maybe half times! I will wait for some development on the field and place some live bets!

I expected a better game from Turkey with Italy, but something went wrong. Let's see how the situation with Wales will be today. Wales plays defensive football very often and has few goals per match. For Italy, I also do not have much confidence in victory, Switzerland can take points away today, I may be wrong, but I think so.

Indeed, today we have some very interesting matches. In my opinion, all three games will be quite close. In particular, the Russia vs. Finland match is likely to be a hard-fought game, with Russia coming out on top in the end. The Turkey vs. Wales match also promises to be a tense one, with Turkey needing to make up for their 0-3 defeat on matchday one against Italy. Switzerland is also under a lot of pressure against Italy, having only managed a draw against Wales in the first matchday. Nevertheless I think Italy will prevail in the end and win 2-1.

That's why I would go with the following bets:

Group A: Turkey vs Wales 2:1
Group A: Italy vs Switzerland 2:1
Group B: Finland vs Russia 0:1
