It was a terrible start by Turkey.  Sad  First that easy goal because of poor defending and the 2nd one was hard to explain... How can he not even look at where the goalkeeper is before passing the ball?  Huh

It was really funny when the defender passed the ball with full confidence that the goalkeeper will get it but things went the other way but my problem is why is it that Ronaldo is always complaining when the ball is not given to him the way he wanted? Is really bad for the team I must say and don't get me wrong about the Ronaldo stuff, no hate but this guy is not letting the other guys play freely and it mustn't have to be him all the time, when Cancelo passed the ball that led to the own goal he wasn't happy but let's see if he'll change in this second half, that's if he can.

I believe the referees were unfair to Netherlands yesterday. It was clearly a goal, there wasn't any offside. I don't think there was anything like hindering the goalkeeper there and there wasn't a touch by the forward player either. Maybe they were going to win thanks to that goal. Unfortunately VAR can still make scandalous decisions even in big tournaments like this.  Sad

Anyway now I'm fully concentrated on the Turkey v Portugal match.  Grin  We need 3 points against Portugal but our defense is still alarming. It was great to see Georgia - Czechia match ending 1-1. It is time to turn it into an advantage.

No True! Officials in the Euros are currently doing a beautiful and great job I must say. That was a perfect decision take by the match officials as that was a clear offside, not really offside but we could see the Inter Milan defender Dumfries dodging that ball that was shot from Xavi Simons...
Give them credits when due. They're not doing bad in this tournament.

So sad to see that they dumped two goals already in the first half of the game. Bernado Silva with the first goal for Portugal and lack of communication lead to that second goal between goalkeeper and player.... Just as you said, the defense is indeed poor. No Àrda Guler today?

Georgia should have done well to win that game. They had chances they messed up with. Absolutely embarrassing.

Portugal are really comfortable at halftime by a 2-0 lead. I don't think Turkey will be able to make a comeback. Actually they were good in offense at the beginning but couldn't finish the chances they created with goals. This is costing them too much now. In case they lose 3 points today they still don't need to worry. They should fully concentrate on their next game. Even one point will be enough for them to qualify from Group F.
Actually I have been so busy today and I forgot to set alarm to view the Portugal match. It is nice that I have not missed out totally as I can still watch the second half of the match. I have just viewed the lineup of the two countries and I discovered that the Portugal side are doing better than the Turkey side. But I was wondering why Bruno Fernandez score has to be lower than other people in the Portugal squad. Is he not living up to expectation in today's match?

For Turkey national team, I think it is over for them. It will be very difficult for them to come back from two goals down. I also discovered that the Portugal players are not passing the ball to Cristiano Ronaldo the way they are supposed to. This has contributed to him not scoring as much goals as possible in this world cup. Despite his age, he is still doing great in the pitch.

So far no cause for alarm on the Portuguese rram as the Turkish side have literally not shown any quality opposition in this game throughout the 45 mins played. They have been with a lot of poor tackles and poor ball controls with the turkey side, we clearly witness that own goal with  Akaydin in the 28th mins  assisting the Portuguese passing the ball to the back of their net, a terrible own goal that renders a lack of confidence among the players against their opponent. I don't think the second half would be of any difference than Portugal continuingly their show of dominance with more goals to the number.

As a result of poor squad selection and wrong tactics, Türkiye fell 2-0 behind in the first half. The interesting thing is that Portugal has also slowed down the tempo and is playing as if the match is over. I guess they are using their power sparingly. They won't take too many risks as long as the score is like this. It's important for the teams to stay healthy. In the last 15 minutes the tempo has dropped a lot, which is in Portugal's favor. If Türkiye can't find a goal, it looks like the game will continue in the same way. Substitutions must be made to affect the match.

Georgia is really lucky, Czechia almost beat them since Czechia have 24 shots and 12 on target, props to Mamardashvili i.e. Valencia's goalkeeper, he's tall, young and potential, maybe other big teams will interested to sign him.

The first goal given by the Czechs should have been valid, but unfortunately the referee decided that it was invalid through a VAR check. I'm confused, why was the goal disallowed, wasn't it clearly a goal?, because clearly from the replay we can see that it should have been a goal. I do agree that Georgia is really lucky, and their goal come from a penalty kick. However it was amazing to see the fierce match between Georgia vs Czech this time.

I still don't get why Roberto Martinez thinks starting Ronaldo is a good idea because the honest truth? He'd only slow his teammates down. I was willing to give him the benefit of the doubt in their last game, maybe he could do better it's just people making a big deal, but no! He was a total flop. Wasting too many good chances that should have been converted to goals.
The match was quite boring simply because his teammates felt oblitto give him the ball, there was little to no room for creativity and when ever there was a chance to do something out of the box, it looked like they were being restrained by Ronaldo's presence.
Let's hope they will be able to get their acts right and get goals today because Turkey aren't a side you want to underestimate.

it will certainly be a good match considering the level of the teams but I am more oriented towards the victory of Turkey, I have the feeling that players like Arder Guler want to show themselves and they are doing it great in these last few matches, Cristiano Ronaldo doesn't hold it against me who in my opinion is the greatest footballer of all time but these young people are really scary look at what Yamal is doing..
The interesting match between Türkiye and Portugal was not only because there were old players like Ronaldo and young players like Guler. But this is more about the strength of the two national teams themselves because Turkey and Portugal currently both have points and are in first and second place in their group standings table. So that is what will trigger both of them to fight to win and surpass one of them in the group table so that in the end they can become group winners and qualify for the next round.
Turkey is playing well this season, the players they have almost all play in Europe and several talented young players are Arda Güler, Kenan Yıldız, and many more, of course Portugal must be wary of Turkey's game, even though they have different experience but stamina  definitely 11/12 so hopefully Pepe can cover the young Turkish players, I think this will end in a draw or Portugal will be able to conquer the match tonight.

Although the way Romania played against Ukraine I will say the match is a worthy risk. I will use a strategy I once read in this forum. That is Play Romania to win and then if they take the lead I will play Belgium to win or draw. Because Romania taking the league means Belgium odds will definitely increase.

There are tons of risks with that kind of insurance bet in such a game at such nuts odds.
You take Romania to win at 7:1, good, Romania scores and you think Belgium at suddenly 2:1 would be your safe bet.
Now, what happens if Belgium scores first? You're done for with that bet and Belgium will go down to 1.2 at most for the win and probably not even 1.05 for a draw, so you're going to have to bet maybe even x20 just to balance the table

You're not only betting at a risky stake first but you're also trying to insure your bet in the game, diminishing the returns with another risky gamble.
Why not simply go for the goal or for first-half handicap?

I would be so sure to conclude that Portugal will destroy Turkey, maybe you are underestimating them. Turkey comfortably defeated Georgia 3-1 whereas Czech Republic couldn't win them and almost lost to them. Remember than Czech Republic always won Portugal if not of the late goals that helped the later win 2-1. Based on this analysis,  I think the best result Portugal can get tonight is a draw. If I'm to bet on the match, I will go with both teams score to be on the safer side instead of going for outright win.

Ddi you actually watch the games? Or are you just looking at the results?  Cheesy

Netherlands and France are level on points in Group D. After yesterday's match, which ended in a goalless draw and neither team could beat the other, both teams have 4 points. Although France had more possession, I don't think both teams played very well. I think one of the reasons why there were no goals in this match is that people were mainly betting on goals. In the other match of the group, Poland lost to Austria. Although it was an even match between 2 teams, Austria was more effective in front of goal and managed to win.
Rifht both teams like Netherland and France played very bad and no team won due to their own mistakes. No player could goal in the whole match but I expected result to the one side but I saw a low quality match and I think ni body enjoy that match . The shots of France team were more and shots on target of Netherland were more in number . I like one thing in this match about France team because their passes were more and they gave excellent passes and the passes were 660  in comparison of 398. Austria team performance is very excellent and they won easily against Poland. Baumgartner,Trauner, Arnautović did one one goal for his team and they are match winners of this match.

The duel between Turkey vs Portugal will be exciting, isn't it because there is Ronaldo on Portugal side and Arda Guler in the Turkey squad, both teams will be looking for the winning goal to win the position as group winners. One ticket will be up for grabs in this match, whoever manages to emerge as the winner, they will certainly move on to the next round. Previously Turkey and Portugal were both able to achieve maximum results on the first Matchday, Turkey won 3-1 against Georgia while Portugal beat the Czechs with a score of 2-1.

Meanwhile Georgia and the Czechs have just finished the second Matchday, in this match they were only able to draw 1-1. The draw that has just been achieved makes Georgia and the Czechs chances of qualifying for the next round even smaller, especially Georgia who has to face Portugal in the last match.

I hope Türkiye can thwart Portugal from achieving victory. It sounds like I don't like Portugal, but I have a betting target that I win because I bet on a draw.
I made a different analysis than most people regarding betting on the Turkey vs Portugal match because I was tempted by the big odds for those who chose a draw.
Turkey's impressive performance when they beat Georgia and Portugal's lackluster finishing made me conclude that Portugal will have difficulties in this match.
Well nothing is impossible in the game of football so goodluck on your bet, I hope you get it right, this game would really be entertaining as I believe the two teams would be in serious contest to actually qualify and save themselves the last minute drama that comes in the group stages, I remember that Portugal actually won their euro cup by actually finishing third place in their group stage in the year they claim victory.

If Portugal wins, a lot of history will be discussed after the match.

Roberto Martinez is good at strategy but Montella is no less good at tactics. The latest from Türkiye's line up, Arda Guler was seen on the bench and chose to play Akgun. This will definitely be a surprise for Vincenzo Montella.

It is true that on the field, nothing is impossible to happen. But I'm already starting to have doubts about Montella's strategy. Maybe Montella wanted to give a surprise towards the end of the match?

Turkey vs Portugal kicking off shortly, a real chance for one of the teams to take real control of Group F. You’d expect Portugal to win but Turkey were impressive in game one.

It would be a very tough game between these two countries but many would still tip Portugal to win and they're seen as the favorite in this game. Turkey won't be an easy target in this encounter against the Ronaldo side and I think Portugal won't play out their best with the man CR7 starting for his team. Portugal play more better when he's off the pitch and now that he'd be on the pitch I think it would be an advantage for Turkey because is already a shorten 1 for the Portuguese national team. The group is still open for who to win it with Czech Republic played out a 1-1 draw against Georgia and I don't really think today this group will produce a winning team so I'd say a draw is likely to happen again and I'll go for a 2-2 draw in this game.

I'm surprised that Arnautovic is still playing in the national team, even though he's old, does Austria not have potential young players in Arnautovic's position? he scored one final goal before the end of the match, this competition will also probably be his last national competition with Austria.
You'd have to agree with me that players of his calibre are difficult to find and with his age, he still has it in him to make things happen for his team, citing his goal against Poland for instance. I'd say that goal was the proverbial nail on the coffin of Poland that settled things else some fans were still hoping the Polish side could come back and end the game with a 2-2 draw. Players with his world of experience are hard to replace and I'm sure when he retires from national football, he's absence will be greatly felt.

perfect analysis mate, the way the tournament started up at first it was almost like as if all the big teams were going to win all their games but to my surprise the results started going harder as the smaller nation have stepped up their game and one of the team that are capable of getting the better of their opponent is probably this turkey team and if Portugal understand this then they would need to step their game and play harder.
Believe me, Portugal will destroy those guy, remember that Portugal has the best player in the world. Turkiye is a nothing team, they only beat weak country and their past history they almost never win

I have no idea why Belgium can be at third place in FIFA rankings when their players are mostly mediocre, only De Bruyne is good, while the rest are inconsistent. I expect their rank will drop because they wouldn't going far in this competition.

Worse if Belgium slips up again due to the fact that they now have to win with Romania, we know this team has won with Ukraine before, De Bruyne and Lukaku must carry their own national team otherwise they will cry home early.
Unfortunately two players wouldn't able to change anything, take a look with Norway, they have Haaland and Odegaard, but they're lose in the qualification group lol.
