Spain team took the lead against Norway in the first half and they were very dominant but in this second half Norway team is putting quite a good performance and they are as dangerous as spain i think both teams can score if Norway manage to get the draw it will be a perfect oppening for these qualifications.

In general, both France and Belgium easily beat the Netherlands and Sweden, as if they played not with the top teams, but with Malta or Luxembourg.
this is true
expected much more from Netherlands, although Gakpo was not there, and that looked as it would be an easier win for France
Belgium had Lukaku last night, and he smashed Sweden with three goals, didn't expect that as well

but all in all, Sweden and Netherlands looked more like Malta, than France/Belgium as top teams
I think it is more about how good France become, they found a golden generation and almost in every position they have star level of players, the roster they have could be one of the most expensive ever assembled in history, of course this is mainly due to inflation since Brazil also had some pretty great teams back in the day, but this is one of those times when there is a huge generation that should win a lot during their time and then they will retire one after the other.

We are lucky that it's early days of it, they are young now, we should be seeing at least 2 more world cups with this squad and they will be doing great in euro in between those periods as well.

Agree. Croatia is consistently successful in the World Cups (they are less lucky in the European Championships as they meet the future winners of the tournament in the early stages) and are a strong team in general, so even if Wales is not bad, the quotes are fair.
Yep, competition at EURO is tougher than at WC as you have to beat some very serious team to even get out of the group stage, let alone win the whole tournament. Goode example of that was 2012 Euro when we were in the group with Spain and Italy that were later in the final. Worst of all, we played very good against both of those teams.

With Euro expanding to 24 teams these things will change now though, at least the part about getting out of the group stage.

edit: well deserved lead Smiley

Third in the group was Croatia  Grin (and by the way they scored only one point less than Italy).
In 2016, Croatia lost in 1/8 to the future champion - Portugal.
In 2020, Croatia lost to Spain (in extra time), which in turn lost to champions Italy in a penalty shootout.
In fact Croatia is an incredibly strong team with very good results. It is a pity that they could not take some kind of title, but this generation of players will be remembered by everyone for a long time to come.

Quite natural 1-0 after the first half and Croatia dominates in all respects.

I think this upcoming Euro is their last time around to try and get a trophy as their players are already of old age and most probably this will be their last tournament that they will play together before leaving the field to new talented players as Croatia has many of them ready to take over.

Wales is not a team to underestimate though despite me choosing Croatia and Romania as my bet of tonight as both teams are winning,I only regret not putting more money on them as I knew they would be almost sure bets.

No problems today for Scotland against Cyprus. Switzerland is already on a comfortable 0-3 lead at Belarus, so that can no longer go wrong. At Spain's match against Norway, Haaland will still want to show himself for his home country, in which he has not really been very successful. Surely there are a few Norwegian players who should be able to serve Haaland. Spain is normally too good but someone like Haaland can single-handedly decide a game for Norway. And Norway should mainly focus on the other games in the group as they are the favorites there. Being 2nd in this group is also a great result for Norway.

Haven't you kept up with the news regarding the Spain Vs Norway match? Erling Haaland was not played in their important match because he was injured, mate. So, please stop talking about Haaland in this match, because it's all going to be bullshit. Currently, Norway is only relying on their 3 important players. They are Alexander Sorloth, Elyounoussi and also Martin Odegaard. Let's see what they can do against Spain which has many stars there.

Yes, Haaland is not on the player list maybe this is why spain is so favorite statistics show that span controls the game and have scored one goal
While Norway did not make much effort especially without Haaland they are like losing a goal machine there is no other choice Norway will play defense
I predict that Spain will score more goals maybe 2 more goals in the second half and Norway may be without a goal.
The game is currently on with Spain leading wit a 1 goal, Norway currently no goal.
The match is about 44 minutes gone, and from the odds, I believe the majority is expecting Spain to win the match, Norway do have an attractive odd which is currently 33 at the time of typing this post, I decided to put a bet on it just incase by chance, the table turns in their favor, not expecting Norway to win, but like I said, just incase, and the money is small, I don't mind losing it.

With Haaland missing the best Norway could do is to keep a clean sheet for as long as possible, but I only saw maybe a 5% chance for Norway to even score without him. It could happen with the help of a little bit of luck, but this game is over in my opinion. If Spain takes the lead here, what can you do if you aren't dangerous enough in the box of Spain? Haaland also adds this element of surprise as he can score from almost any position. But Spain has a team again that is well formed and knows how to let the ball run within their own lines.

A clear penalty kick that was not announced or perhaps the VAR system was cancelled in these qualifiers. Despite the absence of Haaland, I believe that the Norwegian team is capable of coming back and scoring one or more goals.

Lukaku's performance was really great. I agree with this. He made a hat-trick in the end even though his second and last goals were very comfortable to score for him. This should effect him very positively for his upcoming matches with Belgium and Inter both. But I still can't believe in him fully yet as he hasn't been in a good form for a long time. That long-running injury affected him in a really bad way.

I don't know why Ibrahimovic returned to the national team again by the way. He entered the match quite late though but still I wonder why. I think he should have stayed as retired from national football. Because he can't be very helpful for Sweden like in the past in my opinion.

I'm a bit surprised that odds for Croatia against Wales is so low.. Yes, Wales isn't that team as they were few years ago, but still, it's a bit understimating.
I don't think that ~1.4 is underestimating at all. Wales has been far from great on the WC (1 draw and 2 losses), two of their standard players retired and on top of that they have injureies problem. On the other hand, Croatia is playing at home after yet another success at Word Cup with almost all players available as the only one who retired is Lovren.

Agree. Croatia is consistently successful in the World Cups (they are less lucky in the European Championships as they meet the future winners of the tournament in the early stages) and are a strong team in general, so even if Wales is not bad, the quotes are fair. If I were looking for an imbalance, I would rather decide that Wales is overrated (by the way, Wales have disgusting results in recent games).

Croatia was stronger in the years before now their team is getting older and older so it is really a question for how long they can keep playing at such a top level. I see the qualifing for the Euros but i dont know what they can do honestly in it

You have to make a lot of effort not to qualify as a top country for the European Championship. If, due to the combination of circumstances, you are unable to place yourself by not finishing in the top 2, a number of best numbers 3 will also play a play off. And if you are the winner of the group in the Nations League, you can also qualify for the European Championship through that door. That way the tension is gone. Maybe the format used to be much better, no play offs and 4 groups of 4 at the European Championship and that's it.

Really a rookie mistake from Ozan. It's also his birthday, what a disappointment. Besides that I don't think Armenia could find good goal positions. I don't understand this 3-4-3 formation from Kuntz. Wings don't work properly and there are empty spaces in the midfield. Hakan Çalhanoğlu is pretty inefficient. They should switch to 4-3-3 and play more offensive. Armenia's worth is %10 of Türkiye squad so current score is unacceptable. Türkiye should come back in this match or they will risk advancing the group from the first match.

This is how Turkey always plays in the qualifications, always hot and cold and i already mentioned earlier in this match that i would avoid betting on Turkey in this match because with them you never know, especially when they are playing away like they are today.
You made the right decision for a team that makes such simple mistakes. Giving an opponent such a gift from the first minutes on the road, hmm, is exactly what I expected from the Turkish national team. Afterwards, we scored a goal and equalized with the Armenian team. But if it wasn't for this mistake, the morels would have gone to the locker room at a high level for the Turkish national team. In the second half, I expect Kuntz to include Arda Güler in the game. Arda has a capacity that can clearly change the course of this game, at least in this match.

Arda Guler was not included in the game.  Instead, we saw Umut Nayir.  Kerem Aktürkoğlu entered the game in the second half.  In the second goal scored by Turkey, Enes Ünal had a great pass.  It was only for Kerem to score the goal, and he succeeded.  Now it's time for the Croatia match.  In the match to be played in Turkey, it will be a tough match for Turkey, that's for sure.

doubt that, since Haaland is announced injured, and didn't even travel to Spain
maybe he can do something from his couch, but doubt it is possible with current technology

Turkey won after all against Armenia, good for a competition in the group, and Croatia is playing Wales
Isreal could not win against Kosovo, in a group where Switzerland started with a blast in Belarus, 0:5

I dont think he is injured badly,he was just playing for Man City and i think maybe City asked Norway that he dosent play because they honestly dont stand a chance. Didnt expect Turkey to make a good comeback and easily. Was expecting that they slip today

Belgium was the winner in the Sweden-Belgium match. After the France-Netherlands match, I was curious about the result. Belgium played a dominant football in the first half and managed to lead 1-0 with the goal scored by lukaku in the 35th minute.  Although we watched a more balanced match in the second half, it was again Belgium who took advantage of the positions. Lukaku scored a hattrick by scoring 3 goals in the match. Belgium made a good start in the group.
Romelu Lukaku the Star of this game was substituted before the end so the fans can celebrate him, good move. The new coach Domenico Tedesco in the first game with a great result. In Group F, Belgium and Sweden are the best teams, Austria should be in 3rd place. The next games will be played in the next 3 days, then we take a look.

I did not expect that Lukaku would do it, when with Inter Milan his performance was not impressive but here Lukaku scored 3 goals he really on fire
Obviously Lukaku will be a mainstay in the next match but a little dangerous for Belgium if only depends on one player especially Lukaku is prone to injury
Belgium could have had a problem if at any time Lukaku was injured so I assume Belgium cannot be considered a favorite I prefer Austria.

Austria's squad should not be underestimated either. I see potential in them to beat Sweden. They're not a bad team. After scoring the 3rd goal, it was obvious that he was out to get it. That's a morale booster for the players. Lukaku scoring 3 goals was good for him. He will want to play better in the next game. He can play better if the fans give him special cheers. It will be very normal for Belgium to come first but I don't know who will come second. It will be either Sweden or Austria.
