Erik Ten Hag has done a good job improving Manchester United in just a short time. This shows that experience matters so much in handling managerial positions something I think Graham Potter is still lacking but I won't rate Manchester United to win the Europa league now because their are still good teams who actually match their stats still competing for the trophy.
Ten Hag is doing an excellent job as Manchester United manager, leading the team to the Carabao Cup, which is a fantastic achievement for both the team and him. Ten Hag's next goal is the Europa League and possibly the Premier League because they have all the players who can lead the team to victory. As a result, it is possible for Manchester United to win the Europa League this season, even though teams like Juventus, Roma, and Arsenal are also in contention.

Manchester United team is now very strong and stable. I think Manchester United's players' confidence has increased after eliminating a big team like Barcelona. Now their main goal is to win the Europa League title. Manchester United has no chance of winning the Premier League title. And so now they will be fully focused on the Europa League title. Moreover, Ten Hag's match strategy is good. He has managed to transform an almost troubled team into a strong one. And I would say Manchester United have the ability to win the Europa League title.
Yes, given Manchester United's current performance and the fact that they are still one of the top teams in the competition, they have a chance to win the Europa League trophy. The teams will work hard to win the trophy, but I still have high expectations for Arsenal and particularly Juventus, who has no other realistic chance of winning a trophy besides this Europa League. For Arsenal, I know the team is in good shape, but I don't think they will focus on any other trophy besides the Premier League. But let's see who advances to the next round because unexpected events occasionally occur in football, even the teams we don't expect do more surprising things some time and this kind of competition we don't need to underrated any clubs, they are in good form that is why they make it to this level.

Manchester United and Juventus have no chance of winning the Premier League and Serie A titles. These two teams will now aim to win the Europa League title. And perhaps Ten Hag and Arteta will try their hardest to win the title. On the other hand, Arsenal is in very good form but it will be a bit difficult to play consistently well in both the Europa League and Premier League. They are competing with Manchester City for the Premier League title. Perhaps now the Premier League title is Arsenal's first priority. Because this team could not win the Premier League title for a long time. Before the semi-finals, it is very difficult to predict which team is the favourite to win the title.

For me the winner of the Europa League is way harder to predict, than the winner of the Champions League. The reason for that is quite simple. For many of the big clubs like Manchester united, Juventus or Arsenal the participation in the Europa League still feels like a burden to them because obviously they would like to play in the Champions League instead and fight for the biggest title in club football there. That is why smaller clubs, that are 100% motivated are having a pretty good chance to make it very far.

What you have been saying was actually true caused by anyteam has the same chance to win the europa league trophy but it seems like if we are seeing based on the impressive performance from the club and im sure that if english club will be dominating it.

So far, rashford is still the top scorer of europa league. It can be seen from here https://www.uefa.com/uefaeuropaleague/statistics/

Those big clubs are still very happy to play in the europa league even though if they seem more interested to play in champion league but since those clubs were not able to be qualified for UCL and they shall accept the truth.

Winning europa league gives one of them guaranteed spot in UCL next season.

The improvement in the performance of the Manchester United team this season is already very visible now, so that the Manchester United team is starting to come under the spotlight from many parties. I also have confidence that Manchester United will continue to compete for the title well in the Europa League and also in the Premier League because Manchester United are not far from the top of the Premier League table now. And the results now being obtained by Manchester United are proof that Erik Ten Hag is a coach who is very smart in managing the team.

Graham potter is an unexperienced coach. Potter never coached the big club but he was always coaching the small club. The pressure from the big clubs are far greater compared with the pressure from the small clubs. That's why potter faces many difficulties to be a coach for chelsea but the problem is since potter lack of experience to handle the big club but he was still continue to handle it and bring chelsea to the bottom standing of EPL

I totally agree with you. I wouldn't say Graham Potter is a bad coach. He might be a good coach. But he does not have the ability to coach a big team like Chelsea. This team aims to win the title. They want to stay at the top of the Premier League points table. So they need to maintain consistently stable performance. Graham Potter has yet to develop a stable match strategy. Tuchel was more experienced than Graham Potter. And I would say the sacking of Tuchel was a big mistake by Chelsea management this season. And that's why Chelsea's situation is so bad right now.

Salzburg is probably going to focus mostly on their defense and keep a clean sheet for as long as possible. They have a good squad with a balanced game between offense and defense, but they also that they won't be dominating Roma in a home game. Roma is in quite good shape right now and they have a decent home game statistic so far. Salzburg can wait for their chances while driving Roma to desperation. It's very tough to say who will qualify for the next round. My guess still is that Roma will turn it around.
I don't think Roma would turn it around, Salzburg are a very good team and they played a good first leg, Roma are an inconsistent team, they find it hard to win games in a row, before the first leg many fans thought that Roma were going to win easily, but their inconsistency affected them in the first leg and they lost. The only good thing for Roma is that they are going to play the second leg in their home, so their fans are going to be very loud and behind them, i feel the game will go to extra time and possibly penalties, and if it gets to that, any team can win; but i don't believe that Roma would turn the game around and win during the 90 mins.

Some time has passed but you are right when you say that they are inconsistent. The result against Salzburg was close and the game could have gone both ways. Salzburg was playing well with the ball in many situations, but they didn't use their chances. When Roma scored the first goal I thought that they will exploit the momentum with their fans backing them and that is what they did. I did also think that one more goal will happen when Salzburg is forced to open up.

And just last night Roma lost their game against Cremonse, which is a good example for the inconsistency that you mentioned.

Experience is important for everyone and it is not only important for football coaches. It's barely to see people with limited or without experience got great success with their debuts. People like Mourinho and Zidane who got great success in early careers and managed to continue it after that is more scarce.

We can look at Andre Villa Boas to see how it is very hard to maintain success for young coaches. After succeeding in Porto, Boas failed in Chelsea and after that his career falls down and has never returned to best coaches in Europe.

Graham potter is an unexperienced coach. Potter never coached the big club but he was always coaching the small club. Chelsea were impressed with Potter works in Brighton and they wanted to have a kind of sexy football in Stamford Bridge with Potter. That hope has yet become true and the reality in Chelsea is worse and worse. I did not think that Chelsea will fall to deep in Premier League like this and already say goodbye to top four in this season.

Potter can help Brighton to move to first half of table and compete for top six but when taking a coach position in Chelsea, he failed to cope with high pressure there.

What i do like about ten hag is how dicipline this guy to the its players. Ten hag is also very strict as a coach and he was always taking the right decision. This pretty much the same like seeing MU was going back to ser alex ferguson's era when united was getting so many trophies. MU was recently getting curabao cup but pep was mocking it. The problem is MU didn't have good CF. rashford is always become the main actor to make goal for MU.

Nacho was also having the same role as rashford. MU needs a new striker that can give the club as many goals as possible.

Im still picking MU as the most favorite club to win europa league. I take an example from the last season. Frankfurt was winning europa league. I think that MU will repeat the same thing like frankfurt. It's now the best time for MU to proves that if club has been waking up again. MU was just getting its first trophy. Im sure that MU can add more europa league trophy to its trophy cabined. Almost all of MU players are on fire now. I see very big chance for MU to win in any game of europa league.
Many people will pick and predicting with Manchester United are the favorite for UEFA Europe League winner after success eliminating Barcelona on playoff round, last several days success won EFL Cup trophy and seems confidence for Manchester United added another trophy in this season.

Except with Manchester United I picked Juventus is the favorite team for winning Europe League, their chance get champion league ticket with domestic league seems difficult with points deduction and winning Europe League give automatically ticket for playing on Champion League for season 2023/2024.
I would prefer to pick arsenal rather than juventus in the second place. It's cuased by arsenal has more potential compared with juventus at this moment. Arsenal is still consistently winning any matches in the various competition. I think that arsenal or MU will be winning the title for this season. Arsenal and MU will be so easy to be passed into the next round as the upcoming opponents were easy opponents but MU's opponent is still quite better than arsenal's opponent.

Expect nothing more as you go not from your club, Manchester United, Arsenal, Juventus, PSV and Jose Mourinho side Roma. Arsenal can go very far as they have recently welcomed back Gabriel Jesus who will pressure and help Arsenal back into scoring goals.
I don't know but United after beating Barcelona have a new rate of confidence they look confident enough to bring down any club that con f,.

In my opinion, any team can get the Europa League title because even a mediocre team or a team that is not seeded can also win the Europa League title like last season. But yes, if the candidates are the three teams you mentioned then I hope for Juventus to win the Europa League title this season.

Considering that Juventus have received a point deduction penalty in the local league or in Serie A, of course this will make it difficult for Juventus to finish the season in the top four to get a ticket to the Champions League next season. Therefore, because Juventus still has the chance to go further in the Europa League, and so if Juventus manages to win the Europa League title this season, Juventus will get a ticket for the Champions League next season.
I agree with you because in the Europa league we have watched teams who were underestimated and not considered as favorites emerge as winners. In this season many other options we have still competing, we have Juventus, Manchester United, Arsenal, etc who are in fine form and firing up so it is difficult to tell at this stage which team will emerge champions. That’s why I believe that any team can do it this season.

Actually, it is also an absurd rule that teams from the same country cannot be drawn against each other at this stage of the competition. What is the added value of that? Of course Arsenal and United don't want to play against each other now, but I don't see the problem with the formula of the league. Everyone should be able to play against each other in the Knockt Out phase of this tournament.
Is it true that clubs from the same country can't be drawn at this stage?  Huh
TBH, I just know this rule and it seems nonsense. As far as I know, there is no such rule in any international competition.
If the rule is true, so Arsenal and Man United are safe, they automatically will play against those clubs from other countries.

No one is waiting for an Arsenal - Man United final, and by drawing up rules like this you now only increase that chance. What do you think of the best final? Maybe Man United against Juventus?
The ideal final is Arsenal vs Man United, they are the strongest teams now. But sometimes strong teams can be defeated by weaker teams, it happened many times. Anyway, not sure which teams to reach the final round. But I am not sure Juventus will play in the final round.  Grin

Well, I have been following the teams and their way of playing, the truth is that I do not find that any of them have flaws that could generate losses, I see Man United very focused, the truth is that I see Rashford quite activated, he is a very complete player, and next to Bruno Fernandez is serving him very well with the assist passes from the midfield, although I don't like the leadership of Ten Hag I have to admit that they are doing very well, and on the other hand Xavi needs to win that match, both teams have necessity and they don't want to waste any opportunity, I think that for this match I didn't know who to bet on, I see them very equal in everything.
I haven't followed much of Manchester United so far, but the team has done much better in the second half of the season. Winning 2 of the last 5 matches is an achievement that may not be satisfactory, but it is worthy enough to get the appreciation of the fans. Now I can expect Ten Hag and Xavi to have equal teams ready to be spectacular in the Europa League. Barcelona will host Manchester United in the first leg, that's an advantage for the Catalans but I hope Barcelona can take advantage of that.

In the last match, Barcelona won the away match against Villarreal. Even though Barcelona was not reinforced by its veteran midfielder "Busquets", the performance of De Jong and his colleagues was good enough to end the game with 3 points. Dembele has to miss the first leg but I hope it's not a big problem.

Barcelona once again had to win the match by 1 goal, it was the 5th time since January. But I don't think it's too much of an impact because everyone seems strong, including the midfielders, the defenders and their goalkeeper. Barcelona have gone 16 match unbeaten, it's a sweet record for Xavi and his team. Then Barcelona has good mission for the Europa League next February 17th.

Unbeaten run sets personal best for Xavi

Quote
Next up, Manchester United

But there's a big challenge ahead if the unbeaten run is going to continue. Thursday brings Manchester United to Spotify Camp Nou in the Europa League. United have only lost once since November 11, and that was a closely-fought 3-2 defeat to Premiership leaders Arsenal.

Curiously, and hopefully not tempting fate, Xavi's previous run of 15 games without defeat came to an end in a Europa League fixture, namely the one against Eintracht Frankfurt. Thursday offers a golden chance to lay another ghost to rest.

It is a fact that Barcelona has improved a lot, besides that they are doing a very good performance in the League, as they are extending their advantage over Real Madrid, and their commitment to the Europa League also allows them to focus strongly on this competition, I don't think it's a bad thing that now they have a good option to think about winning the Europa League, however, I wouldn't only see Man United as the only tough team they have to face, now, from all this, the Europa League comes with a lot intensity, the teams that are there are very tough.

Now, after Barcelona was eliminated from the Europa League, things are not going very well for them, they are facing many problems.

Personally, I think that the one who can win the Europa League could be Juve, I know that Man United is playing a lot, but Juve is already doing things very well and can give a surprising surprise, the football they have played is of another level, Juve's secret aram is "fideo" Dimaría, he is highly motivated and I think he can continue to do many good things, and if so they would start off on the right foot, because in Serie A they are not doing very well .

Even though this season's Europa League looks difficult to predict, several big teams who have strength can still be seen clearly in this season's Europa League. So the smaller teams who still have the motivation to go further than this season won't find it easy for them either because they have to face the big teams who are still in the round of 16 now. So matches in the Europa League this season will be just as exciting as in the Champions League.

For Juventus going to Champions League fron Europa would have been possible if big clubs like Roma, Manchester United and Arsenal is not in the race

Yes indeed, the luck factor like that rarely happens but with this, the big teams must always be aware of it not to underestimate mediocre teams too much, especially in a knockout phase like this. Because the teams are not seeded but have good performance in the local league, at least they can also be a threat to the big teams in the European League.

Say like Sporting, even though this season Sporting doesn't have good results in the local league but Sporting still has good morale in the Europa League. Therefore, basically there is no guarantee for the big teams to easily qualify for the next round.

Di Maria is in good shape and ready to score goals, but Nantes is not a strong opponent for Juventus. I would not judge the possibility of Juventus getting to the final based on this game alone. They now have a lot of opponents who are also worthy of a final match. For example Manchester United or Arsenal. Even Roma or Betis could compete for this match.

It could be, but I think it's clear that Manchester United wants to be the winner of the European league.  How eager they played in the Barcelona match and their joy was worth seeing.  I am sure that they will concentrate on the European league and work hard to win the cup.  Arsenal fighting for the Premier league title may be less concentrated on the European league but Manchester United want that trophy.

Juventus know that if they win Europa League, they will be awarded a special ticket to join Champions League in a next season. They do know that it's impossible for them to complete Serie A in top four because they have too big gaps with top five at the moment. The deduction with 15 points is harmful for Juventus chance to finish in top four.

Winning Europa League is not easy but it is a more realistic task for them than ending in Serie A top four. They don't have to chase any club in Europa League and task is beating each opponent to the last one in final match. Juventus have enough good players and a very experienced coach in cup format, Allegri that can help them lift Europa League.
That is going to be a big deal for them, and knowing that they are doing a very tough job right now, it's going to get even worse. They are not playing well enough to win europa, they are not playing well enough to beat anyone to be fair, they are losing to everyone and failing miserably right now.

This is why I would suggest that the best thing to do at this moment is to make sure that they are ready for next season. Forget about this year, just focus on next year and maybe they will get a better manager and a better team. It's obvious that they were trying to rebuild the whole team but as we can see they failed, so they need a better management.
