I think Barcelona are unhappy anyway as a victory at Old Trafford is much less likely than today's chance. In general, after the first half, I was sure that United would not lose and most likely win, but in the second half the game became completely chaotic and both teams had chances. The score could have been 4-3 or 3-4 in either direction. But now United is a clear favorite in this pair, I will be happy to look at the quotes of the bookmakers which initially considered Barcelona to be the favorite.
This match is very fierce and sure enough the final score is very difficult to predict. Both teams appeared with their best performance and the performances of the two goalkeepers were equally good. Ter Steigen made some important saves, as well as De Gea, so it was the most impressive match at Camp Nou today.
I expect the same to happen at Old Trafford next Friday, so neither should be the favorites if both teams perform like this. Both are equally good, but both are equally chaotic on defense. A draw in the second leg can be expected, especially for those who want to bet on it.
They both had good number of attempts, it's actually one of the most interesting games I've seen this season. Props to Raphina, he deserves to complete the game but Xavi Hernandez has to protect his best player's it was the reason for his substitution. Good gake tonight he was almost everywhere for Barcelona.
Manchester United didn't do poorly, I was just furious with some decisions from Marcus Rashford, I hate it he played individual football at some point which didn't work out for him regardless.
Manchester United will be ready at Old Trafford waiting and Barcelona would be without Gavi and Pedri two of them creative midfielder's.
At some point, I was smiling for Erik Ten Hag using Wout Weghorst as a number 10 tactically in the game.
