There is a significant improvement in Leverkusen's performance these days. Their form in the Bundesliga has been on the rise for five weeks as they are on a winning streak. Bringing Xabi Alonso has helped them a lot. It looks like their main problem has was the management of the team. After seeing this great form in their domestic league I've started to be expectant in the Europa League as well.

Their matchup is against Monaco as you know. Monaco are a dangerous team of course and they are also doing a decent job recently. I expect this matchup to be very competitive in both legs. It feels like Leverkusen will be one step ahead to advance for now. Because their chance to qualify for any tournament in the Bundesliga is not very high.
I'm almost a team because of their bad start to the season. But it seems that now they have started to find their lost form, yes, they have started to get victory after victory and it was not an easy match. Their 5 consecutive wins in the Bundesliga have made their morale rise again, as well as their ranking in the standings continues to show improvement. Now they are in 8th place with 24 points collected, just like you I started to give hope to them in the Europa League.
Monaco is far better compared with leverkusen. Leverkusen is having bad performance again on its domestic club. i would not be surprised that if leverkusen will be losing easily against monaco. monaco has been performing so well compared with leverkusen.
This gonna be the easiest match to predict. Im sure that 100% if monaco will be winning the game against leverkusen. leverkusen's performance is dropping again at this moment.

Talking about the recent performance for both of teams besides Leverkusen who can gets winning streak at Bundesliga Monaco also has successfully to improved their performance that after beated by Marseille last year Monaco can playing consistent at Ligue 1 and even last time they can able to humilliated Ajaccio with scores 7-1 and at their domestic league whether it Leverkusen and Monaco had good chances to finish at european zone
On 2016 Leverkusen can able to beat Monaco with scores 3-0 but this cannot be used as the reference because their condition currently were different and Leverkusen came to this match because they failed to qualified on champion league and Monaco performance also on group stage not too impressive but lets see who is the winner of this match but i personally considers their matches is hard to predicted

Barcelona meets Man United, Barcelona is not doing well in UCL but is doing well in their domestic league (La liga) at least based on the position in the league, it's a different story for Man United (as they are still in transition at the moment) but the result of this match remains depending on how many players in both teams are still fit/injury free after the busy schedule of these few matches.

In history Man United have always struggled against Barcelona, but I think Man United know it has been fixed and are ready. Man United vs Barcelona is by far the biggest Europa league game of all time.
This season's Europa League feels like the Champions League, because many great teams have played in the European leagues,
Barcelona, Arsenal, Juventus,Ajax and many other great teams playing in the Europa League this season,
Maybe what will be an interesting spectacle is the Manchester United vs Barcelona match, even though Ronaldo and Messi are no longer strengthening the two clubs, this match is definitely a very interesting spectacle and worth the wait, the two clubs have now shown very good performance. good. Barcelona is still comfortably at the top of the standings while Manchester United has started to show its best performance after Ronaldo's departure, if you look at the statistics of the two teams I am very sure Manchester United can make a surprise and beat Barcelona, because Barcelona is currently focused on pursuing the Spanish league trophy, because the target Xavi this season is able to bring home a trophy for Barcelona, because if Xavi fails to deliver the trophy, Xavi's position as Barcelona coach will be threatened.

@Minor Miner I have said this before too and I’ll repeat that I’m pretty sure that Barcelona doesn’t care about winning the Europa League, because they’re genuinely close to winning the La Liga title hence it doesn’t make any sense for them to prioritise playing on Thursday night. Furthermore Manchester United can unlock their defence because of the pace of Rashford and he’s in phenomenal form, hence I’m 100% sure that Manchester United shall win against Barcelona and progress ahead.
On several occasions, Xavi said that Barcelona is serious about targeting this competition trophy. even one of their strikers, Lewandowski, once said that he and his colleagues had the ambition to win the Europa League trophy. so it's clear that Xavi really cares about this competition trophy besides prioritizing winning the La Liga trophy.
I can't predict what will happen in the match between Barcelona vs Manchester United. because after all, this fight is a crucial match for both teams. plus, their coaches will compete tactics and strategies.

Barcelona and Xavi are aiming to win the La Liga title and the Europa League title. On the other hand, Ten Hag and Manchester United's main goals are to qualify for the Champions League and the Europa League title. Arsenal will also continue to fight for the Europa League title. It is difficult to predict which team will win the title. But every team has a good instinct to win the title. United and Barcelona's performances have been somewhat unstable, but both have strong squads. But both the teams have enough time to organize themselves and strengthen the team.

What I have noticed about Barcelona this season is that their performance in laliga is different from other leagues competitions, that is why am not convinced of Barcelona can defeat Manchester United.  Before now Manchester United performance in Europa league have been very impressive. Barcelona focus more on laliga and might not put too much seriousness in europa league.  It is true Manchester United  have always been struggling with Barcelona but  a different case might occur.

They be disappointed how quickly they got knocked out of the Champions League so they shift the focus down to La Liga which look like a better competition to them than the Europa league competition.
Camp Nou might be a place of fortress for Barcelona and so is the same for Manchester United who has turned the Old Trafford to a fortress also. If United happens to draw the game at Camp Nou they're ending it all at Old Trafford.

I am a United fan, and as a fan, I would be very happy if our favorite team could beat a team as big as Barca Cool

I love the progress so far in the Man UTD team. Marcus Rashford is on another level right now.
Ten Hag has managed to steer the club in the right direction. A well-rounded individual and a great coach.
ETH will bring lots of trophies to Old Trafford Smiley

Europa league didn't seem to be included in the barcelona's priority. I meant Barcelona is much more caring with la liga rather than europa league. Laporta itself was not even taking europa league so much as its previous target was UCL.
I think that Barcelona was seeing europa league as bonus for the team if Barcelona can win the title but there are so many strong teams playing in europa league. Barcelona can't even win this trophy last year after being beaten by Frankfurt.
i think that Barcelona underestimating this competition so much. Let's see how good the performance by Barcelona against MU in the upcoming round of europa league.

IMO from my point of view both coaches will focus on the midfield battle. why, because Barcelona have an advantage in their midfield over Manchester United. just relying on Casemiro, that's not enough, Ten Hag needs a tactic to counter the midfielder that Barcelona has.
This fight is a tactical war game. and if Xavi applies his formation like the El Clasico match, by relying on two Pivots and two attacking midfielders plus Dembele and placing Lewandowski as the sole striker. I'm pretty sure Man United will have a hard time facing Barcelona. however, we will find out later after this bout has taken place.
Well, that's mainly because it is the only acceptable result. Think about it this way, if they lost at semi finals of UCL, would anyone say anything about that? It would be fine and they wouldn't really be hated for losing there, but in europa? They need to either win it, or even losing at finals would be a bad situations, no matter what they do, unless they win it all, it will be a bad result for them.

This is why it's clear that they need to keep on improving and being better. United or Arsenal or any other team, no matter who they end up facing, they need to end up winning and that's an important distinction to make. I believe they are capable of winning, but being capable and being able to are different things.

The quality of the two players has a balance, which means that the match will be fierce and difficult to predict, it's just that Barcelona has the advantage of playing at home in the first round, not only Lewandonski Barcelona also has the strength of young players who can trouble Manchester United's defense, but the biggest role what can distinguish only the strategy that will be implemented by the coach when the two will meet at Camp Nou, I think the strategy implemented by the coach is the key to victory.

Manchester United also have Casimero who knows Barcelona's playing style by heart and they also have Marcus Rashford whose performance is getting sharper up front, Erik Ten Hak can take advantage of the strengths they currently have, at least being able to hold Barcelona to a draw, so that Manchester United can play openly and take chance to beat Barcelona at Old Trafford in the second leg.
This is a bit tense, yes I think this match will really be the best match for both teams. Barcelona and Manchester United were both coached by new managers, but maybe Xavi understands better how to make his team really able to win match to maintain his good record against Manchester United.

Even though Manchester United had Casemiro, that never guaranteed to beat Barcelona. Believe me, even Real Madrid couldn't stop Barcelona in the final, but that doesn't mean all Barcelona's plans will go perfectly. Both teams have to avoid lot of mistakes and both exploit the opponent's weaknesses, but it seems that Barcelona is the team that is expected to be able to control the game well.

Barca playing at home first it quite a good advantage for them. Barca performance is unique and they are topping their league, they have mostly won MU in their home. Lewandonski is a wonderful striker which makes might break into MU defence.

MU has been in good form and the qualities of the players are increasing day and the team has a good defence, which makes this match unpredictable yet until on the match day, when these two clubs will be on the field playing.

Manchester United's relationship with Ronaldo has ended. So I'd say it's better not to discuss it.

Both Barcelona and Manchester United are playing well. Both Barcelona and Manchester United won yesterday's match. And both the teams were able to dominate and win. So it becomes more difficult for me to predict which team will win.

Lewandowski and Dembele have been performing consistently well. And Barcelona's main strength is their midfield. Barcelona's performances are now very stable due to the consistently good performances of the midfielders. But their defense is still weak. I would say, if against Manchester United, Barcelona's defenders can play well, then Barcelona has a chance to win.
Barcelona's defense has actually been very strong so far, but that's in La Liga. Meanwhile Barcelona look very different in Europe so I don't expect a win from them over two legs against Manchester United. Jules Koundé, Ronald Araújo, Andreas Christensen and Alejandro Balde are in good form so far. They look strong at guarding Barcelona's defense, but I think Manchester United has way of making Barcelona's defense work hard.

The two teams have different playing styles, and I think Barcelona will still try to dominate the match in their trademark style and that will allow them to manage the tempo of the game. Barcelona successfully won the Super Cup from Real Madrid, while they also successfully advanced to the semifinals of the Copa Del Rey, and Barcelona is the leader in La Liga. There is high enthusiasm from this Spanish team, so Manchester United's wariness of Barcelona will certainly increase.

Barcelona and the other teams look financially to these competitions, as long as the financial prizes are much less than the ECL or La Liga prizes, I think they will focus on La Liga more than this one, and if they somehow managed to win it, that would be good for the name of Barcelona and could give Xavi and the other young players more confidence. On the other hand, the same thing applies to Manchester United, as they won't be interested a lot in winning this competition on the back of their rank in the EPL.
Indeed, the European League may not be their target, but Barcelona and Manchester United certainly want to add to their trophy collection in the club museum. I think so far only Manchester United have not won a title in all competitions in 5 years and for sure they want to win the Europa League title this season as a trigger to win more titles.

Ajax and Union Berlin are going to face each other for the first time in their history - in an official match I mean. Maybe at first both teams would like to weigh each other before playing their usual games. Things aren't going very well for Ajax these days. They haven't been winning any match for so many weeks that it caused them to get far away from the leader. If they don't manage to start a decent form this can affect their performance in the Europa League negatively as well. Or maybe Ajax will surprise us and play better here. Because it isn't the first time we see such teams.

Union Berlin had the wind on their back at the beginning of the season but started to get bad results after. However their recent condition is quite decent as they have climbed to the 2nd spot again in the Bundesliga. They seem a little better than Ajax recently but I will still be favouring Ajax for eliminating them. They have a much bigger experience in European tournaments.

Basically every title will have a good impact on the players and also for the team, at least it's not just about money, money and money to make them have no interest in winning the title. After all, if they think about money then they can become greedy with the ambition to get all the titles in the tournaments they play.

What's more, the opponent he is facing is Manchester United, so this will increase Barcelona's prestige.
Therefore, I'm sure Barcelona will continue to play according to their abilities, so even if for example Barcelona loses I'm sure it's not about money or a small prize, but because Manchester United at this moment is also having a good performance.

yup, winning at home game is a must for Barcelona. Because this will give them a better motivation and mental boost when they come to the old traffold. Barcelona should at least be able to keep a clean sheet if they can't win the game. We'll have to wait and see how these two teams play, whether Xavi gets new lessons to make his strategy effective in the UEL after failing in the UCL.

Manchester United Vs Barcelona match will be a though one because both teams are in great form..any mistake from both teams will prove so Vital in deciding who goes through to the next stage.
It's going to be an interesting match with alot of goals to be scored because both teams actually knows how to score goals, they are both offensive teams
Defensively Manchester United and Barcelona will concede goals as both side don't have a solid defence.
How do you mean that Manchester United don't have a solid defence ? Without being biased I can tell that Manchester United defence is good at the moment.
While you watch Barcelona matches recently they have refused to score good number of goals they score at most two and Manchester United being a side that doesn't conceive much goals would not want to take more than one goal from Barcelona if at all they will. So don't expect much goals in the meeting
