Going with the performance of Ronaldo this season, I don't think the Manchester United coach needs to start Ronaldo ahead of Marcus Rashford in the upcoming games in Europa League. Ronaldo has been a good player for United no doubt but this season his performance, when calculated in percentage, is not up to 50%, the best way to play Ronaldo in the next games is to bring him in the second half whenever Manchester United is winning comfortably or to bring him as a super sub in the team to use his own experience to create a change in the games.

Of course, however, Manchester United still need Ronaldo. but as a second tier player for now before he was completely trusted by Ten Hag to be a starter back in the main squad. his performance did not gradually improve, as for when manchester united played the match against FC Sheriff. ronaldo did not contribute much in that match, every opportunity he got could not be maximized to make it a goal. some of his shots miss the target far off target. however, a goal from the penalty spot, at least can revive the instincts and talent that he has.

I don't think it's just Ronaldo, although he is undoubtedly a key player. Manchester United are having a lot of problems inside the club right now, so they are losing a lot of games or not realising a lot of opportunities. In the old days, Manchester United would have destroyed Sheriff even without Ronaldo. By the way, their next games are not the easiest, first the game against City and then the Europa League game again.

Ronaldo's celebration after scoring that goal against Sheriff show to us that he was happy and playing with his full heart for now. Even if Erik doesn't give him enough time in English Premier League he should continue to give him time to play Europa. Europa is not as stressful as English Premier league and it is played at night, I believe it will not stress Ronaldo to play because of his age and his status as a Legendary player.

Whether they rely on Ronaldo, or they dont,till tomorrow,Manchester United will still need a man like him because even at his worst form,he is still better that most players at United.Recently,Ronaldo has not been in his best form,and I believe that is because he is unhappy at the club,he made a decision to leave the team because they are not playing champions league football,and his move was blocked by Man U,so ever since then,his performance dropped,but I believe he is now playing well,and will soon get to his best form.If Ronaldo should start a good run of form,then Manchester United will be so happy because he will score goals more regularly,and will compete with the highest scorer in the league.

I don’t know which player’s you’re saying are not good because Rashford, Martial will be picked ahead of him, and now he’ll have to be happy as a super sub player and it’s his own fault that he’s out of shape as he intentionally missed the preseason.

Furthermore Ronaldo’s presence is always good to have because of his vast experience, but gone are the day’s when we were totally dependent on him, now we have amazing player’s who can constantly score goals like: Anthony, Martial, Rashford, Sancho etc.

We shouldn't be harsh about Ronaldo indeed. He shouldn't be to blame now because he didn't find chances in the starting eleven properly before the Europa League started. Thanks to this tournament we started seeing him two matches in a row. Of course the reason we still don't see Ronaldo in the starting eleven in the EPL is Rashford's amazing recent form there. He played a big role in the win against Arsenal which consolidated his place even more.

Ronaldo has no other choice than waiting for him to start performing badly to have his place back. Ronaldo's wanting to leave and being insistent on it have made things even worse for him. This was surely the main reason of Erik ten Hag's preferring Rashford over him. Ronaldo didn't have much match fitness too of course as he joined training quite late comparing to his teammates. I expect to see Ronaldo in the starting eleven of all their Europa League matches. This is the biggest opportunity for him to gain his place back in the EPL also.

Mourinho will show his skill in the European Cups step by step and reveal his true strength. He took over a nice project team, then he made quality additions. With 3-4 quality transfers next year, they will be a candidate for both top of their league and champions league..

You are sounding so particular about Ronaldo in just first two matches of the season and still judging him.from there even when Manchester United is about to play their 7th match. Have you considered if the team was even good before you talk about individuals.
