As Roma haven't been able to win any of their four local league matches, but that doesn't ensure that Bayern Leverkusen will be able to defeat or tie Roma. This is because I don't see Bayern Leverkusen in a position where they can defeat Roma given their own recent performance as well as Roma's. I still think Roma is superior to Bayer Leverkusen, and if I had to gamble, I'd rather take a chance on Roma than Leverkusen.The least performance I anticipate from Roma is a draw.

I did not even know that AS Roma has 3 such important players missing for the match against Leverkusen today. Usually 1 or 2 players that are missing should not have a big impact on a good team but 3 at the same time is quite a lot in my opinion and definitely could be a factor today. For me both teams are pretty much at the same level at the moment. AS Roma might have the bigger name in Europe but looking at the squads, it is obvious, that the squad of Leverkusen has a value that is more than 100 Million € more valuable than the one of AS Roma. So i definitely think it would be wrong to say that Leverkusen is the big underdog today.

Experience, I think the Sevilla we see this time is not the same as Sevilla when they win the Europa League title, the list of players has also gone through the stage of being overhaul several times by their coach, so experience doesn't seem to have much effect this time because the starting eleven is of course already different

The problem is if mourinho is not even sure what kind of tactic that will be used by xabi against him. I meant bayern leverkusen can play offensive or defensive. It's caused by the club will be playing at home. It will be so bad if juventus was missing opportunity to take some points when it was playing at home. Its true they got better players but sevilla got a better experience of the Europa league as they have been currently winning this title for some seasons now and they know how to find their way to the finals and that's why I think this game is not going to be an easy win for any of the sides, I believe we are going to see a really tight atmosphere in this game and the first half for sure will definitely end a draw then maybe a deciding goal might come in the second half of play.

It's very rare for Jose Mourinho's team to play an open game and score a lot of goals. The football philosophy applied by Mourinho is quite familiar, namely playing a defensive style. The Special One is chasing victory in various ways and I'm sure Leverkusen will be in trouble with his tactics.

even though this is playing at home to Juventus but we have to think realistically that Juventus' performance has not been very good in its last few matches and Sevilla is in high self-confidence because firstly they are the kings of the Europa League and secondly they have managed to advance to the semifinals after beating the favorite team to win, namely United.

I still think that we will see a cautious match in which Roma will not allow Bayer to create many chances. If Bayer manages to score an early goal then Roma will be forced to open up, but if Roma scores first then Mourinho will want to keep the win and try to concentrate on defence.


Juventus can beat Sevilla, but I don't expect many goals in this match either, as Sevilla will also try to play defensively and hopefully not concede today, maybe it will be 0-0, or a minimal victory for Juventus.

Roma - Leverkusen in Rome today will be intense with many goals in my opinion. Mourinho will count a lot on Europa League since his future is in stake if he failed this after Roma bad results in Serie A.
The other game will take place in Italy too between Juve and Sevilla. Juventus are better and Sevilla are more experienced in this league.
I still can't decide which team will win, I tend to think a draw will take place here.

Jose Mourinho is the coach of Roma. He knows how to play games like this. A 1-0 is enough for him and he will park the box and attack only on the counter. Truly Roma have been in a bad form building up to this Europa gam, but knowing Mourinho he is a type of manager that can sacrifice every other league just to win the Europa league. We've seen him do it at Manchester United. He did it last season with Roma when he won the UEFA conference league. So I'm sticking with Roma on this one.

I am also sticking with Sevilla. The odds are against them but people seem to forget Juventus is not very different. They struggle lately. They even struggled to win Sporting to make it to the semis. Juventus. And recently I have observed that Juventus struggle with organized teams. In their last seven matches they've has only two wins. Out of those seven games they played Atalanta, Inter, Napoli, Sporting CP, Sassuolo. The only big team they've been able to win is Atalanta.
It's going to be a close match but I feel Sevilla will win the match.

Feyenoord and Leverkusen can be considered to have same quality and I agree with this comparison. However, it is wrong if you compare Roma now and when they won over Feyenoord are the same. They have worse form now and their players are more tired now. Some of important players are now have injuries, not completely recovered or will surely miss semi final matches with Leverkusen.

Leverkusen if successfully take advantage of their better fitness, will be able to beat AS Roma in two semi final matches. If they can not do that, AS Roma with experience of Jose Mourinho and counter attacking, will find some chances to find winning goals and go to a final match. Many uncertainties in Roma now with their conditions and limited players for semi finals so neutrally predict, Leverkusen is my favorite as a winner after two semi final matches.

Which thing that makes sense from comparing leverkusen to the feye? i don't even see that as equal comparison.
Leverkusen is far bigger and better than feye. Feye can be beaten by roma easily. The problem if leverkusen has xabi. Mou knew so well how good he was when xabi was still working under him in madrid.

Xabi is also having a lot of experiences with various coaches. That makes the game become even harder to predict.


No dybala, No smalling, No wijnaldum. These are important players owned by roma but they were unable to play against leverkusen while at the same time leverkusen is coming with its best squads. Roma was in disadvantage in this case.
Leverkusen may be going fully offensive against roma.

This game could definitely have three outcomes at equal probabilities. Feyenoord was in such a good shape and I think comparing Feyenoord to Leverkusen makes a bit of sense. But as you could see Roma is a team that can strike back even if they are in trouble. Neither Roma nor Leverkusen has some severe weaknesses such that I would say that could result in an obvious disadvantage. They are very even teams. But I wonder whether they are going to play more defensively, more the Roma style or whether Leverkusen is pushing them into an aggressive back and forth game even in the first leg.
