Atalanta players were unlucky with the post saving Sporting from a defeat. Atalanta will be more convincing next time in their home in my opinion.

The second leg should certainly be more profitable for Atalanta after they only drew 1-1 in the first leg. Atalanta will have home advantage in the second leg which will likely increase their chances of winning compared to the first leg. But it is still very possible for Sporting to progress to the next round if Atalanta fails to play well at home because both are equally likely after only drawing in the first leg.

There are lots of matches tomorrow including Sparta Prague against Liverpool and Qarabag vs Leverkusen. Roma vs Brighton is also good, as is Marseille vs Villarreal. There are several favorites to win, such as Roma, Leverkusen and Liverpool, but Milan is also not forgotten.

I feel like when a player gets injured often enough, teams do not see the benefit of getting that risk. Look at what happened to him now, got offered hundreds of millions of dollars, got injured and not even deserving his money at all. I understand that it is a risk the team took but I am sure they regret it now. The injury didn't even happen when he was at the team, it happened when he was playing for Brazil as well.

I agree that it makes a huge difference for the whole career. Imagine any of the greatest players of all times to have missed 50% of their games. They would have never won any individual awards. But it is genetics and sometimes lifestyle. I have never heard much about Dybala, but there were many headlines that Neymar has a bad lifestyle at times and I believe it. He had so many scandals that it also made sense that he isn't the best in living like a professional. In contrast, players like Messi and Ronaldo seem as if they put all their focus onto the sport.

But back to the Europa League, Dybala was a decisive player last season when he scored important goals for Roma. I still think he can make a difference. Obviously, the precondition is that he plays and is fit. But there is only so much a coach can do about it. Other than that, if Roma has all of their top players available, I think with the form they have at the moment, they can definitely take on Brighton.

I think that Atalanta has a bigger chance in the second leg because they managed to hold Sporting to a draw in the first leg. That's a pretty good result for Atalanta considering that in the second leg they will be hosts and can take the opportunity to perform better in order to beat Sporting. However, both teams still have the same chance because if the second leg results in a draw, then we will see the two teams try their luck in the penalty shootout round.

In the first leg, Atalanta impressive performance statistics looked quite interesting, where they managed to put pressure on the hosts, and they even had many golden opportunities but failed to convert them into goals. For Sporting, they still have a lot of hope if they succeed in improving their style of play to be more aggressive because the second leg will be held on the 15th. For his management and performances of Roma recent matches, it's good even not perfect and it sheds some hopefully light for Roma not only in this season but next one.

There are still plenty of problems within the Roma squad. De Rossi is not a bad coach. After the change of coach, the Roma team continued to win in Serie A. They are playing well enough. However, Roma have won every match they have played against mediocre and lesser teams. Roma can't make any advantage against Inter Milan. Roma lost badly against Inter Milan.
So I'd say it's not right to expect too much from Daniele De Rossi just yet. However, Daniele De Rossi's stats with Roma are very good. After Daniele De Rossi became coach, Roma played 9 matches, out of which Roma won 7 matches and lost only against Inter Milan. But most of the teams were relatively weak clubs.

Brighton's victory against Roma will not be possible if they are in such form. I consider Roma as the favorite in this match.

Dybala is a gift for Roma and he joined them mainly because of Jose Mourinho and his plan. Now Jose gone but Dybala is still a player of Roma and contributing his best for them. This season looks to be better than a past season for Dybala individually. He is stronger, gets less injuries and has more appearances for Roma.

Relationship with a coach and a player can change very quickly but up to now De Rossi and Lukaku are working well with each other. Lukaku is still not a Roma player, he is playing there as a loaned player but Roma actually needs the Belgium striker. He provides strength that can not be found with Azmoun or Belotti and with Lukaku, Roma has like a wall at the front line to help their midfielders and attacking players has more space to play.
