Personally I wouldn't accept that Erik Ten hag is not capable of handling Manchester United team very well but I'm of the opinion that the coach Ten hag is failing to do a good market check before bringing in the players he has brought to the team so far and that is the greatest failure he has had in the Manchester United team.

Ten hag managed to compete with Pep Guardiola and Arteta in his first season but after that he has failed to improve the performance of the players of Manchester United despite the amount he has spent in the transfer market, he won the FA cup against Manchester City last season but his team could finish among the first 5 team in the league which is so shameful.

If Ten hag fails to improve the performance of the Manchester United team this season it will be disappointing if he fails to resign as the coach because he is doing no good to the team, United performance is not getting better the team is more or less or an ordinary team right now because they can not compete with the big teams in the league which is more reason the coach should leave the team period.

But, I am watching them as worst then last season things are not fixed as expected and their recent match performance against Crystal Palace is clearly giving all review about their future in this season Eric Ten Hag is having no solid strategy which give them any motivation to win and having development in performance.

They are having too many big players which can do much better but wired thing happening, and they are fail to keep momentum after having win against Southampton their attack is amazing but fail to score goals are surely hurting them with this performance I have strong feeling they are not going to have any better spot in Premier League with things could be worst in other events as well because fans will be not happy with this way of performance.

The only thing I will criticize about Xabi Alonso's men is that they have set the bar so high for themselves that they are probably not being able to live up to the expectation. I might be a little too harsh on them because Alonso has just started the season and all the teams know what Alonso are going to do looking at the performance from Die Werkself in the previous season. So the opponents that they are facing are actually ready for them.

I absolutely agree with the part that you said about not expecting the same type of result that they have brought in from the last season. Especially if they are using the same tactics. Because by now the coaches have caught up to the tactics. and it is not going to work as well anymore. I wonder how would they perform if they switched to a conventional tiki-taka style.

I wonder why they decided to pick Juric. According to some websites, his stats at Genoa and Torino are not that amazing. His points per match are around 1.5 iirc[1]. It's not really on the higher end if you compare it to other top 4/6 clubs in the league. I guess that's why they only hire him for 1 season for now.

While it's still early, they will try to focus on Serie A for now. Aiming for a top-16 finish on the Europe League table is still realistic. On paper, they should be able to win three or four games IMO. Worst case scenario they got knocked out and that allows them to focus on the domestic league instead. CMIIW.

When Roma sacked Jose Mourinho last season and replaced him with the recently sacked Daniele De Rossi, a lot of us also had the opinion that Roma under Rossi will take some time before picking up but to the surprise of many of us, Roma went to have a good performance in the second half of the season which saw them reach the semi finals of the UEFA Europa League competition.
Unfortunately for Daniele De Rossi, he couldn't continue his impressive performance of last season with Roma as have failed to win any game under him since the start of the season and that was why he was shown the exit door. That being said, there's a possibility that the new manager Ivan Juric might end up outperforming our expectations.
