Funny enough this what Ten Hag as the Head Coach said and people are slandering him for stating the obvious I get the coach has to be an absolute inspiration for his players just to push them but sometimes I think reality check is also important and that’s what Ten Hag did outrightly. The only problem I have personally with him concerning the statement is even if a team is far from reaching its goal at Least the progress level will show you that they are indeed not there yet but are on track. This is going to be Ten Hag third full season and we are yet to see a define structure yet and I am afraid to say that man has spent over 600 million euros and we are yet to get a structure this is why many are after his statement of them not ready to challenge for the title .

Even their coach doesn't believe the premiere league is something they can win this season so I don't think either if it's something they can be able to go for because of they could have it would start from their coach, now back to the Europa, they have their similar equals with which they can throw their weights, if they don't do the best they can of the Europa then they may literally finish this season without a trophy, this has been the bragging right of ten hag that he's been able to get a trophy every season despite his said performance, in fact he said in the last two seasons, after Manchester City, Manchester United is the second with the highest number of trophies in the premier league so he need to continue in that light and that's why winning the Europa is a must for him.

Lack of consistency is the problem Manchester United will have, and if they are not consistent, they cannot win the Europa League even though we might think that there are no big teams in the league.

Even though I don’t believe in Ten Hag, I am sure Manchester United will make it to the round of eight after group stage and they can even go far to make it to the finals of the Europa League if the coach and the players can do well.

What you said is right because I also witnessed Liverpool's decline last season in the Premier League which caused them to weaken in the Europa League too even though I thought Liverpool wanted to focus more on the Europa League to get the trophy here because they looked the strongest among the other contestants but it turned out I was wrong they focused on all competitions to win both trophies because they were equally important, but unfortunately Liverpool could not maintain their consistency and if I'm not mistaken after Jurgen Kloop made his statement that he wanted to leave at the end of last season that might be one of the reasons Liverpool's performance was not optimal and the players felt they had lost the father figure who had guided them for almost 10 years.
But now they are not playing in the Europa League and it seems they are starting to find chemistry with their new coach.
