Really did not expect that result. West Ham should not have won against Sevilla. I really think that it was unexpected for a lot of people. Football is more of smartness and luck. Most times having too much squad too can be bad. Luck was more on West ham part but i don't think they will make it to the semi finals. It is a good think that at least one premier league team made it to this point. The fixtures will have a lot to tell what we should be expecting in the next round

Agree, Galatasaray was unlucky to meet Barcelona too soon, I think if another club met Barcelona in the round of 16 they would have had the same bad luck as Galatasaray. Despite losing by a score of 1-2 at their own home, I am very happy to see the Galatasaray players struggle on the pitch. They tried their best to qualify for the last 8, but luck was not on their side.
The remaining 8 teams in the Europa League make Barcelona the favorite team to win, but this is only a prediction off the field. Anything can happen in football, The club that became the flagship actually lost to the team that was not counted as a champion.

I am really feeling happy to say this but, I told you so. The quality that Barcelona is showing at the moment is one step ahead of Galatasaray. Barcelona played really well in that match and deserved the win in my opinion. Galatasaray was the team to break the deadlock but after that Barcelona absolutely dominated and took the match away from them. Barcelona is looking really good to win the Europa League this season.

As a fan I also feel the same as you, but I think this is a good start for Barcelona after failing in the Champions League. I hope Atalanta or West Ham are the next team they will face in the quarter-finals because then Barcelona will have a high focus on winning the match.

I don't blame this team for dropping out of the Champions League sooner than usual, and that's understandable considering Barcelona have struggled since the start of the season with the coach and a number of injured players. But we have high hopes in the Europa League and this is the only title that is still possible to win.

Good compilation above, it is good we know that there are champions league clubs and there are Europa League clubs in the list above. A special attention on Westham will be good. Westham is the only surviving English team who has excellent record during the group stage of the europa and they are consolidating on it. Sevilla is a club known for eliminating the England side in Europ league. They do it to Liverpool and they also do it to Manchester United but this time around Westham prove them wrong.
The two strong contenders are Barcelona who came from champions league and have strengthened their attack with Aubameyang and they are doing well and Westham who has Antonio at the front posing like a beast with alot of energy and shot accuracy.

Truly think that West Ham surprised everybody against Sevilla and got the win. I personally didn't give them any chance of winning that match. But, I have to give credit where it's due, they played really well. Sevilla did play poorly though. But that's another discussion.

West Ham match against Sevilla was so dramatic that it had to go into extra time, and A.Yarmolenko goal in the 112th minute sealed the win for West Ham with Agg 2-1
I think this result is beyond the expectations of many people who thought Sevilla as the king of Europa could go further.

I was really impressed with West Ham's performance last night. Despite the opposition being a strong and defensive side, they were able to break through. They utilised their shots well and I must say, Thomas soucek's goal was a real hard one for the keeper to catch. Sevilla played good game and even kept keeper Alphonse areola on his toes but at some point began to get frustrated at easy chances that were being wasted.
In all, they fought valiantly but yarmalenko had to sweep the rug off their feet by scoring in the added extra time and sealed their fate. I hope to see more action from them in subsequent games. Who knows, they might win the Europa.

A really entertaining game between West Ham and Sevilla - West Ham has really grown into a well organized and dangerous team. They deserved the win yesterday and will be among the favorites to win the trophy going forward.

Barcelona struggled again - and although they turned the game around I wasn't at all impressed. They have a good team on paper but they aren't really clicking well on the pitch. They are by far the strongest team in the competition but I'd never bet on them winning it.

Not believing with my favorite team Sevilla have elimination early from West Ham United although have 1 goal on 1st leg but last night 2nd leg defeated by West Ham United 2-0 and aggregate 2-1 make Sevilla have forget with UEFA Europe League in this season, based on 8 team have pass to quarter final I think looks as Barcelona have chance for closing this competition as the winner although still waiting with quarter final drawing and I have bigger expectation for Barcelona could continue until final stage.

After the victory from Galatasaray, Barcelona now has a great chance to win the European League this season, apart from their more qualified squad Barcelona also has a lot of experience in European competitions, the victory from Galatasaray shows that Barcelona now has a strong mentality to keep going. go further in the european league, besides barcelona maybe atlanta also has a big chance in the european league, because so far they have a pretty good and consistent performance in every game, my prediction is maybe we will see Atlanta and Barcelona will meet in the final match later.

At this stage we see many surprises that I can't be sure about the outcome of the rest of the games here! Sevilla, the historical champion got kicked by West Ham! Barca fluctuating from a game to another, Porto kicked, Betis too..
Atalanta is a good team, Leipzig seems better these days so yeah it might be difficult for Barca to lift the trophy easily. Waiting for the draw to see if there is an early final Wink
