LOL. The reason why Manchester united lost the game was obviously not the way that Fernandes tried to score the penalty.
He thought that this is the right way to do it in order to score and he tried it.
I agree that they need a new manager that will build the team again from the beginning with solid players in the squad that would be the leaders in the team.

He didn't lose them the game and they lost by one goal. And what was wrong with the penalty??? He scored didn't he? It looked like a good penalty to me. It seemed like a good tactic because it makes the keeper make the first move. And what is wrong with the coach??? He's got them to the semi finals and they finished third in the Premier League, which is better than sixth the previous season. Coaches shouldn't be sacked everytime they don't win a trophy. Why are you not calling for the players on the field to be sacked as it's them that should foot the blame here (even though I don't think they played bad). People and club owners need to stop making the coaches the scapegoats for poor performances. I think Ollie has done a decent job all things considered and I was even a sceptic of him managing a team such as United.

Wow the first of two semifinals was great to watch the first half especially Sevilla did not have as many shots but they played very well and fearlessly out of defence,,, I guess now it is up to Inter or Shakhtar to make sure Sevilla do not make a record nobody can chase,,, yeah?

I watched the game at the last 20 minutes and Sevilla was way better. Even when they scored, they still attack and were close to score another goal. Sevilla defence was good, while ManU wasn't that good really.

Honestly, considering the part of the game I watched, Sevilla was playing against a weak team with bad defence, easy midfield and no offence... So yeah before the game they were favourites but after seeing the match, definitely not.

And I think they are understimated too much without a reason, they been really solid so far, scoring 7 goals in 2 games. Though, they had easier opponents than Inter. Offcourse, Inter is favorites, but it's just one game, everything can happen. I think Shakhtar have better chances than Lyon had against City.

with that said, will also put goals, o2.5 on another bet, since to not expect goalless match, and both-to-score also seems good

Didn't watch any of the game, my old brain too sleepy to stay up, but reading the match reports and ... how do you make substitutions so late in the game when you already know your team cannot break down the opponent? They got lucky with Copenhagen with the penalty but were they expecting 2 penalties against a team as good as Sevilla?

I don't know what they honestly expected, they played really badly last night against a really fit and strong opponent. or maybe they were expecting a godsend .. tonight there is another tough match between Inter and Shakhtar, which unfortunately due to work I will not be able to watch, I think it will be another game for over 2.5 but I have to see the other probabilities

You are right. Actually, Man. United has more chances to score today but maybe Sevilla's goalkeeper is in his top performance or he is lucky today. Damn! Man. United made 20 attempts and 8 shots on target but no goals except one goal from the penalty spot. I don't know what's happening with Man. United strikers. I doubt they play too nervous today, so they lose the instinct to score. While Sevilla only needs 3 shots on target to score 2 goals. Sevilla's strikers know very well how to beat De Gea.

I only saw last 15 minutes of the game and it was frustrating to watch. Man Utd looked terrible, there is no will nor passion in this team and obviously no system at all.

Solskjaer watching clueless and making 4 changes in injury time? What was he thinking in waiting so long? Hopefully he will be sacked, Pogba sold along with at least 5-6 more players from the "first" team to start a reconstruction. Solskjaer simply does not have a capacity to manage on a high level, which is finally showing.
