It is not about Condit being so horrible. Damiem maia is a world class grappler and this is his usual game plan to each and every opponent he faces. He takes them down and wears down the opponent until he submits. Maia is considered to have the best ground game in the entire MMA . So dont be surprised by the way he took Condit .

I'm shocked Condit looked so horrible.

It was my only loss of the night, I really thought Condit could
wear him down late but he couldn't survive long enough. Pretty
pathetic fight.

I totally didn't expect Maia to win like that so early.  Maybe in the 3rd or 4th round sure.  Maia has been known as a slow starter and I was expecting Condit to light him up the first two or three rounds.  Good bet with the Maia prop.

As expected Demian Maia chocked out Carlos condit, but for me, the show of the day was Pettis who pulled a sick guillotine against oliveira. that was an awesome performance. never expected that from pettis.

and glad that my parlay won this time around as i went with  Paige VanZant, Sam Alvey and Alessio Di Chirico. lucky that i got away with Alessio Di Chirico as it was a close split decision win. I expected a decisive win. what ever it is i am happy with the win 

I'll be going on Maia on this one. Condit, although good, has too many knocks on his body already. Maia will just try to tire Condit's striking and take him to the ground. That's if Condit doesn't land a willowmaker on Maia. When that happens, everything changes. Condit will just try to finish Maia if he drops him in the first or second round.

I knew Maia can pull a win on this fight with Condit. Maia is on a winning streak and have a good number of wins via submission. Condit made a mistake by allowing Maia to take him down and thats when Maia started to work.his way for a win via rear naked choke in the first round. Condit looked so upset on his loss.

I'd bet money on Condit. Maya has world class bjj but Condit is better in everything else and his bjj is also great. Not to mention that Condit is one of the smartest fighters in UFC so combine that with skill and Maya loses.

You cant just look at records and understand how the fight really went or how close the fight was, carlos condit has being to real wars inside the cage, when ever he fights you wont see a boring fight. take his fight against GSP, it was one of the best fight of the year, it was really brutal ,it was awesome and then take the fight against Hendricks, it was yet another brutally close fight, now take a look at Tyroon Woodley match, Condit got injured during the match, his knees popped that is the reason he lost the match, and then comes the match against Robbie Lawler ,it was yet another brutal fight and a very close one. This is the history of the awesome fights Condits is being and the fights he has lost. so never underestimate Carlos condit.

Yep same here, im scratching my head as to why Damien Maia is not the favorite for this match while looking at his fight history, his record is more impressive than Carlos Condit.

Condits record looks like he is on his way out of UFC and thisnis his last card to stay in UFC roster. I'll go with Maia on this one and just wait for payday.

We're seeing early action on Maia which is odd because he's not the favorite. Does somebody know something? Looks like it'll be a grueling match that'll go the distance though. Looking forward to this one

This is a really interesting match up Damiem Maia is hands down the best BJJ practitioner in the world, he will take you to the ground and grinde you out until you fade, Carlos Condit on the other hand likes to stand and trade, two different styles and two different fight mentality, these sort of fights makes me interesting. I will bet on Damiem Maia for this one. But i wont bet much since i like to see the match rather than putting a bet here.

Anthony Pettis is really in a really bad shape and form right now, loosing three fights in a row and now going to 145 pounds and that to against the dangerous Charles Oliveira, i wont bet in this match too. Anthony pettis has to get back his confidence back.
