I don't think he will get life. Maybe 20 years, but not life for sure.

Who knows- it depends on how much of an example the government wants to make of him. I've got the feeling, probably quite a huge example.

I mean, I don't like the guy. He seems like an idiot who had a mean streak, it's better he didn't end up some sort of real kingpin. That said, putting a young guy away for life is hash too.

I would personally say the most likely scenario is that he had the private keys stored on other servers whose hosting will eventually expire......either that or he was running on a fractional reserve and the rest of the funds were either spent or lost (he did have $2 million worth of funds lost on gox)
