There's as good a chance of him getting a retrial as there is of him getting a fair trial in the first place - zero.
I would disagree on this. While the prosecution may have acted unfairly towards ross and the judge may have been biased, the appellate system tends to enforce the law and wants to see that the law is followed (and the constitution) in the court system.

If an appellate court were to allow for Ross's constitutional rights to be violated then it would be possible that others' constitutional rights to be violated in the future who the government does not want to make an example out of and in the trial court, the government could point to ross's appeal case as a reason why it is okay to act certain ways

Ulbricht’s Lead Defense Asks For A Re-Trial
http://bitforum.info/t/ulbrichts-lead-defense-asks-for-a-re-trial/386

Do you think Ross is worthy for a re-trial?

I think Dratel is just too desperate to turn the verdict around. Jury had their decision within 4 hours. I mean, even the jury is convinced.

The article said that they court will respond before April, PredictIt.Org should make this a betting game.

Will Ulbricht get a re-trial or not?
