You should message Hilarious or Cyrus and try to understand the real reason for the ban appeal. In your case it isn't quite clear to me. Secondly, when a user is banned they get a message in their email with a special email address where you can make your ban appeal directly to Theymos.

Although I am not sure about how efficient that process is because common sense says Theymos could be getting hundreds of ban appeals per day.

I've already sent the mail to the special address, for now no replies.
Probably a DM to Hilarious or Cyrus is an un-needed aggressive way to request it. I can wait for any mod/admin comments here.

Well, the decision is up to the mods. Just wait if the mod who nuked your account will respond here.
Sure, the mod have a power and the experience to decide case by case, but for me a soft ban with a explicit motivation is a more educating way to prevent it from happening again.

No, Icoperf is banned, but it is probably not his main account. As long as Icoperf is banned, he cannot post using his main account (if he has one) because doing so is ban evasion. Evading a ban also is going to decrease any chances of future leniency. There is very little reason why any 12 post newbie is going to care about being banned.
Why the account should be perma-ban if it has a little post ? The rule need to be the same for leggendary member and for newbie.

If you disclose your higher ranking account that I assume you have, members can evaluate your contributions and formulate opinions accordingly.
His main account is Icoperf, it's a newbie account that's why it was nuked and not just banned → https://bpip.org/profile.aspx?p=Icoperf

Yeah, this is probably the real motivation but why permaban for 12 replies? I think this is a very hard sentence, IMHO probably a soft ban with a real motivation is more educating.

It is not my decision, but I can't support uinbanning you.

My assumption is that Icoperf was a sockpuppet account used to spam your referral code, and you want to get unbanned so you can continue using your main/higher ranking account. If you disclosed who your main account is, members can make an evaluation if you have contributed enough such that unbanning you would be warranted. Your using a sock puppet to create problems wont do you any favors.
I was just saying in the various announcement topics "we are here too". I'm doing exactly what mixer, mining pool, and similar services do. Nothing else. No referral link, no shortlink.

PS: I'm advertising a service I created with a regular VAT number.
Regardless of semantics, I would not support unbanning.

You mentioned that you had 12 posts, how many of these were advertising your 'coupon' or was otherwise advertising? How long have you been logged in for?
All of these 12 posts are full-filled with that message, nothing else.

Hi icoperf.
I think posting the same text in more threads, is considered spam.
This for sure

Cheers
Do you have read any announcements thread? It is full of mining pool, mixers "spam" and other services like that.

Yep, and the other people the plagiarize content, make small edits in between large paragraphs to try and hide the spammy nature of the content posted....   Its the same thing with a different intent.

This is not my case, i've posted that "template"

This is spam and it's probably why your account was nuked. I am very sure you made spammy replies which are not accepted in the forum. You shared the link on a forum rule about advertisement spam so i guess you should read it again to understand.

As for the hope for the hope of getting your account unbanned. That's not going to happen.

You know what, time for a slight policy change:

After consulting and discussing with BadBear, I've decided that it's time to let people discuss a bit more freely about services. Although BadBear's earlier posts hinted that service posts are a "no go" on most cases, after contacting him a couple of days ago, I believe he has changed his thinking, possibly due to the community's opinion and suggestions (told you it would help Grin).

As per this shift, the following type of posts are now allowed in coin threads:

  • Posts about block explorers. ("Here is a new block explorer for this coin" type posts)
  • If a service comes up in a disussion and directly related to the coin, it's allowed
  • "We're up" messages for pools (if it's only once per thread)
  • "This exchange added coin" type posts for exchanges (again, if it's only once per thread)

However, said rules only apply to those posts that ARE NOT large, distracting with images, or markup codes (lots of bold and colors) and other traits of an advertisement. If a post is considered an advertisement will be determined on case by case basis.

Post your suggestions and opinions regarding this rule and how it should be improved and it might get implemented.

So.. yeah I've wrong to post the coupon code, but probably the sentence is too hard.

I've post only once per post with a low reply rate (12 reply in 1 day).

Could you get more information about it?

Why? So you'll continue your spam advertisement again? I guess it's better that way IMHO too. I can't find you here http://loyce.club/archive/members/ I guess it's because you've been nuked.

Hi,
I've posting for banning appeal for my main account "Icoperf", i've posted this message (below censored) in some coin announcements:

Code:
[center]
[b][u]Free Coupon[/u][/b]
This coin was added to our platform, check it out:
Use the coupon [b][u][/u][/b] to receive a free premium membership (limited offer).

[u][b]Information about us[/b][/u]:
[/center]

I've have perma-banned for "non-allowed spam", but in the Announcements Section rules specified here: https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/m.8114159 it said: "If a service comes up in a disussion and directly related to the coin, it's allowed", this message doesn't contain large and distracting with images, or markup codes (lots of bold and colors) and other traits of an advertisement (1 link external link and 1 bitcointalk internal link).

I've post only once per post with a low reply rate (12 reply in 1 day).

Could you get more information about it?
Best Regards,

Providing a coupon code to receive a free premium membership is a trait of advertisement imo. I think that's the reason why.

By just seeing your post with bold Free Coupon title, I can already say that your intention wasn't really to inform about the coin being listed on your service, but to advertise your service directly with a promo.

Also posting the same message in multiple places:  spam...

not good behavior in the slightest.
The message is not the same, the external link is changed every time with the coin in objects on the thread.
For example:
Code:
Dash Announcement Thread => example.com/dash
Litecoin Annoucement Thread => example.com/litecoin
And according to what is said in the official spam thread in that section, this action is allowed.
