hmmm. do you see it in blockchain?? just search your transaction hash there. if it is there. dont worry. it will send. 3btc takes too long to confirm

How do I check the blockchain?

Replace the address on this link by your address or type the TXID/address on the top right of the page : https://blockchain.info/address/1QFiM7CmPXRbpyEG7AL2J6sXjzuqGr2nqX

It's in the blockchain yeah, so just hold tight? Thanks for the help

If those coins didn't move for some time they'll probably have enough priority to be included soon, if not the transaction will be dropped and coins returned to original address, you just need to wait. Smiley

Here is all you need to know basically : https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/faq-all-about-unconfirmed-0-confirmation-transaction-fee-read-before-posting-232979 So you should either do the first option (waiting) or the two last .

I recently sent a transaction of around 3BTC with Bitcoin-QT (5.2.1) ((MAC OSX))

This was my first transaction and I was unaware that QT did not force a transaction fee, it was subsequently sent with 0.

Is this likely to be picked up at all? If not could someone give me a step by step on the proceedure of using Pywallet or similar to recover my bitcoin?

I do not have a full grasp for the jargon and could do with a 'Bitcoin Transaction Recovery for Dummies' style reply.

Any help is appriciated!
