Limited in number. Limitless in potential.
Union bank is the first bank dito sa bansa na nagka interes in blockhain tech for finance related-services wayback 2017 or 2018 kung di ako nag kakamali. At di nag kakalayo na gawing option to accept bitcoin/crypto in the future dyan sa bank na yan. Now is their great news and huge achievement for sure.

Hope this will help to enlighten yung mga kababayan natin na yung impression pag dating in bitcoin is negativity.

This is a positive  news in crypto market as a whole.

Mga kabayan, nabalitaan niyo ba ung sa canada, clients ng QuadrigaCX(canada’s largest cryptocurrency exchange) are panicking over  $250 million dollars in frozen assets after the death of the company’s CEO,  Gerald Cotten. Sabi nung iba baka daw exit scam un. Try niyo isearch si gerald cotten. He is just 30 years old. Hopefully unionbank will be good in this kind of industry.
You post caught my attention so I decided to make a small research for this issue.

I found out that Cotten died in India and there's a death certificate issued by Indian government so there is no chance that it is an exit scam because they have a clear and strong evidence. Hmm, I guess the reason regarding the frozen asstes which which came up to this controversy is this,

Quote
Then came last week’s revelation that QuadrigaCX owes more than $100 million worth of cryptocurrency to its customers but is unable to repay because Cotten had sole control of the private keys connected to those funds. Robertson said in court filings that while she is in possession of Cotten’s laptop, it is encrypted and is currently inaccessible.

How unfortunate for QuadrigaCX customers Sad.

Thanks sir for the info. But its kinda sketch,  how come only cotten can control of the “private keys”?Wala ba siyang kahit isang kasama sa company niya na nasabihann man lang para if ever may mangyari sakanya kahit papano may nakakaalam.. very sad for quadrigaCX customers.

Sobrang saya! 2017 dami news tungkol kay BDO na nag papa close ng account pag nalaman na sa crypto trading or anything that has something to do with crypto kinoclose ang account. There are several cases posted in facebook cryto groups, ngaun at least meron nang isa at panigurado may mga susunod na jan.

Its really happening, partnership with coins.ph. This is a good thing and bad thing. More scammers will be in this field. And im glad one of the famous bank in the philippines recognized bitcoin cryptocurrency.

AXIE INFINITY IS THE BEST!

Wow! Unionbank... That's a big deal alright. I'm glad Filipino tech businesses see the value of cryptocurrencies. I think the only hindrance here is the minimum know how. Most people don't understand what they are using.

Try Gunbot for a month go to -> https://gunbot.ph
I know there must be a reason why the cash-in in coins.ph is 100% rebate or something. Maybe it's because UnionBank is supporting cryptocurrency! It's just nice to see and I don't know their angle if they are going to profit from it or not but it's definitely great for consumers.

Also, this might be their preparation just in case bitcoin price will recover.

Nice quick video to watch and knowing that one of the vice presidents (searched for him on Google). He is a believer and it's nice to see support from them. Great job!

Is this happened recently? If its a yes then then how about the btc ATM in Makati? (Here is the source). For this reason, I highly doubt that the ATM launched by Unionbank is the first in the country. Nonetheless, it was a good news for all Filipino crypto enthusiasts like me because we're one step closer to mass adoption once again Smiley. I hope there'll be more btc atms to come and I hope good news like this one continue to surprise us this year 2019.

That is good news to our fellow Filipino crypto enthusiast, I think if that Union bank will success to adopt cryptocurrency and use the blockchain technology system, that can facilitate cross border transactions using as a payment base that run on the blockchain technology. Union Bank is one of the largest banks in the Philippines.

Probably their competitive banks also will follow the steps of what Union banks did. So, I guess it is the start of Bitcoin to have mass adoption here in our country and having ATM of cryptocurrency will probably help the problem now on the crypto market.
