Actually, there seems to be a lot of issues, no functioning Mac Wallet for current OS X, no functioning Blake256...should the launch have been postponed?....very frustrating for me to get set up and nothing I use functions properly on mining this coin...aaarrrgghhh
As I understand the guys are working this out. These very events...where some stuff is buggy in the beginning...is the reason for the ramp-up in the first 33 hours. The normal block reward is 100. Right now it's at 4. Hitting one block tomorrow night will be worth all the time you mined until then pretty much. If we are still having issues after tomorrow night that's another discussion.
