its kinda funny to think of a university offering a degree in blockchain, man the industry is only 10 years old! who has the EGO to call themselves a teacher already? haha

Not universities offering blockchain degree right now because they still looking reason why have to make blcockhain become most important subject in universities, I think bitcoin need to show up their self with higher price firstly and make many people will look with bitcoin as most expensive and most profitable investment assets before can adopted in many universities in the world.

yes i agree with you op with the increasing number of industries, companies, banks and governments that adopt the blockchain. then we need human resources who can create and operate blockchain technology. and very good if in the future there will be universities that can provide course material about blockchain. As far as I know, there are already 3 universities that have studied and developed the blockchain, namely MIT, Stanford University and London College University.

even top universities like Oxford, Berkeley, princeton. it would make many people who skillfull in this field

I just think that this industry would be big in the future

I think it just rumors but if happen I'm happy with that. Until now bitcoin still reject by many countries/ people but if blockchain accept as legal technology/ education it will bring positive impact into bitcoin. There's no respond from education world about blockchain, they only interesting not taking. I hope Universities will release a good respond and take the technology as part of education.

I have heard that several universities have been majoring in blockchain technology since 2017.
Indeed, this department will be very promising for graduates later to work or become a developer of a crypto project.
Maybe with a department like this can also be the first step for the university world to increasingly plunge and develop the blockchain according to their respective ideas.

I had no idea, so many places offer certifications. But as this space is so huge it's hard to believe that these would cover a lot. Even experts seem to think that they have still lot to learn on crypto space.

Coursera is a very good online university. I took a lot of courses on this platform but they were not connected with the blockchain. if you really found on this site any opportunities to get an online education in the field of blockchain, then I think you can trust them. the question is why do you need all this? if you want to get a good job, then online certificates are not appreciated in the workplace. best to study offline at university

Really? I am not informed that there are university gives blockchain degrees. I was totally shocked and amazed it may totally sound ignorant but I really dont know about this information so thanks to you pal coz I gained knowledge about blockchains today. And yes its good to take online courses nowadays because it is less hassle and less effort. You can learn online anytime and anywhere.
