Anyone having difficulty with Coinomi wallet connecting, or its just me?

update: the Electrum Uno server seems to be down. I'll try to contact Cryptapus to see if he can resolve this.

Network provider issues... May be flaky for a week or a bit more. More electrum servers would certainly keep this from being an issue.

UNO is at guild level;
next is dev'in Clients to utilize the unique dynamics UNO has to offer

Also once UNO establishes a solid $5 floor of support, entertaining 'family & friends' with the notion of getting 10-100kg is less of a MLM 'to the moon' garbage pitch ... and almost a guaranteed 'told you so' ... so mentioning it @$2 might be a worthy suggestion.

To pass $5 to $10 UNO will need to dev some solid client relations ... not many ... and they need not be big fish ... just enough to demonstrate that UNO is a functional 'crypto' commodity that facilitates trade, or better, provides means to house 'long term' value for those utilizing digital currencies.

I won't speculate beyond that.
As the road map will need to re-calibrate on discovery of 'World' adoption ... which even BTC has not yet cracked open.

in the meantime;
maintaining network nodes, growing more nodes, and discovery of base pair trades/market is a solid strategy for year 4.

I would say getting another exchange listing is a high priority, but I don't see a worthy exchange to petition, perhaps square is worth pushing, but already there, and I don't see it booming (yet), so running idle and focusing on the main exchanges UNO already has is where the fundamentals still reside.

Last note:
UNO trade volume is sort of flat until BTC decides to crack the top or test the bottom.
This is the case for every other crypto too!

Best is to ignore the btc spot and focus on $usd market cap.

ps .. I advocate a strong hand in LTC or DOGE to maintain pegs there vs. BTC.

101 Lesson in the history of fiat ...

1.  that gold is too heavy to carry around ... here's a claim check 100% redeemable for face value in physical
2.  oppps ... sorry now 50% redeemable ... oh and hand over all physical ... it's the LAW
3.  shit ... now you see ... these notes are not redeemable cuz ... [insert kinsey economic theory mumbo jumbo]
4.  well now we need to catch the 'criminals' so the bank credits are not even redeemable for bank notes ... lolz ... trust us plz Wink
5.  pitch forks & torches

'For now, that has made the 100-rupee note the basic legal tender for most transactions, reducing the world’s seventh-largest economy to trading largely in the equivalent of $1 bills.

The Wire, an online news site, called it “undeniably the most extraordinary situation India’s economy has faced since independence.” '

http://www.latimes.com/world/la-fg-india-currency-20161115-story.html

this is both shockingly unbelievable and entirely predictable all the same time.  Its a good reminder that this could happen in any economy with government issued currency.
I had missed that story. That is interesting. In some ways, reminds me of the Gold Reserve Act which confiscated a targeted asset.
There's nothing to see here, please move along...

By the way, it's for your own good. Oh and also to catch criminals too, don't you realise?

The Coindesk article was a good one.

"Wilcox himself acknowledged reason for ongoing security concerns in a September conversation with CoinDesk in which he described what he called the "half-life of doubt."

Simply put, the idea is that the longer the blockchain has been functioning the less doubt will remain that it can or has been compromised."

UNO has that part nailed.  A light weight, fast, blockchain 3 years long. No question about UNO.

'There is a growing trend within the cryptocurrency industry that portrays the characteristics of a time-bomb waiting to explode.'

I doubt that any of us envisioned in 2013 that we'd ever think of any crypto as 'simple.' But the following two articles came up one after the other in my reading this morning:

http://www.coindesk.com/defending-zcash-blockchain-art-security-theater/

https://cointelegraph.com/news/fool-me-once-how-to-spot-a-cryptocurrency-scam

Tee hee -- no time-bomb here! No ICO. No MLM. No concerns about back-door creation of more Uno.

It's a good selling-point for your Christmas-gift Uno paper wallets.

Been really tied up with work. How's everyone doing?  Catching enough Uno?

I lost a couple of bitcoin betting against Trump. Yet another bump in the road but I'm still forging ahead. I've got a lot of projects in the works (mostly science related), excited to get more income flowing in to lock up more UNO.

Firstly, this article is excellent: https://www.theguardian.com/technology/2016/nov/06/technology-disruption-infects-political-system?

But closer to home:

' . . . the connected devices that comprise the so-called internet of things and that, it’s been discovered, a bit late, are hopelessly insecure.'

Us krypto geeks could and should be integrating crypto acceptance into the assistance of Ordinary People with their Net security.

Oh dear then, K.S., I fear the Unobtanoids here will have to drink Cooper's Stout on Christmas day.

have the producers replied to any requests?

Hey, Edgar. I recall that I emailed them a couple of years ago, about accepting Unobtanium for Unobtanium. No joy.

In this case, I was hoping that someone in the States could secure and forward a bottle (legally) just as an Uno Christmas jape.

Mark

I think there's actually some law that requires brewers to sell their beer through distributors with the exception of their tap room.  so you'd probably want to figure out who their distributor is, then set up an account with them and buy their minimum (probably a lot) amount and ship it 'round the world to all the other unobtanioids

If anyone can figure out how to mail a bottle of Unobtanium to Australia, I'll pay all costs.

UNO Pools are listed in the OP, and on Unobtanium.uno

Zpool.ca is great
Multipool.us also great place to mine
Syscoin pool usually doesn't have much hash, but you can also earn NeoCoin, which is sometimes profitable on its own.

Sadly, one of my long time favorites, Mmpool.org, has taken merge mining down. I offered them a bounty to bring back Uno mining on mmpool.  They said its a short term thing, but it has gone on a long time. Since I only merge mine Btc/Uno, I can't mine at mmpool any longer. Sad

Oh, don't forget Prohashing.com   You can earn UNO payouts with Scrypt & other algos.  It helps UNO by supporting the price.
