It's pretty interesting to see this play out. People buying hundreds of dollars worth at 0.005 on Cryptsy with $850 of sell orders on Bittrex down to 0.004. What does the price have to reach on Cryptsy before other exchanges feel a magnetic attraction upwards? A few months ago Bittrex would have followed fairly closely, to 0.0048 at least. Looking at the order book, it wouldn't take much to bring Cryptsy to 0.009, would the other exchanges follow then? I think that depends on whether anyone can get bitcoin off of Cryptsy, or what altcoins people can still withdraw and what the premium is on them. 25% arbitrage on $500 is a lot of free money, it's very telling that nobody is utilizing that. Or maybe they are but they're doing it stealthily.

could we send a rep to HONG KONG, MAY 31- JUNE 2, 2016?

Chances are, I am probably the closest.  Why?  It would be about a $600 flight + taxis + hotel.  Sounds like about 750 kilos of UNO all up.

What's the angle?  At the end of the day, we are still one of hundreds of shitcoins.

    Another nonsense from Geko .
Nobody appreciate you at all but you are still here Tongue Nothing ,nothing can make you leave. And like U say this coin is good to U and U made $10k from it the last pump. So it is not shitcoin. And my guess is you even doubled your position now. After all turn out Uno is very special coin for you!

Wink You don't have to guess @Esperanza.  My Wallet is an open book.  Currently #10 uMcVND...

I did not make $10K.  But I did well, and yes, I plowed it all back in down at these prices...average in the mid .005's.

The phrase "shitcoins" is generic by now.  Nothing derogatory.  My point is that while UNO is among, we all feel, the best of 100's of alt currencies, there is nothing special about alt currencies in the larger tech world.

We are but a bitcoin clone with a few economic modifications.  That conference looks interesting, but I don't see that lot being very interested in us, so I would question the value of spending $800-$1000 to send someone there.

Altcoins are the kindergarten of the tech world.  I enjoy the sandbox, and UNO is my favorite toy in the sandbox.  Love me or hate me, yeah, I'm still here telling brutal truths or maybe lying and raising hell sometimes for the lulz and to make the market move.

Because it's just a game.  Have fun.

btw, good hashing right now, Un at 1.6 phs.

Interesting and notable that the hashraste is still flying after the last mining reward halving.

Price is a cursed circle. Once broken is hard to go back!

I suppose you could be right, Esperansa.  We've been here before though, several times. The price has been higher, and then much lower, and then higher again, and now lower again. Will it stay low? That's the question.  I see it less as a cursed circle, and more as a cycle that has already repeated several times.   Just depends on a person's perspective, I guess. I think everyone here knows that long, I am a Uno permabull.

@Esperansa, you never really know.
The best guess we have is through Chainz experimental "largest wallets" feature, https://chainz.cryptoid.info/uno/#!wallets .

We know that UNO was fairly distributed from the start.
We also know that in Feb. 2014, Wolong  temporarily amassed a large quantity of Uno, up to 40k I've been told by people closer to the action that I was. But its highly unlikely he is still around or holding on to a lot of coins. After that, a large quantity of Uno was stolen from Coin-ex and dumped slowly at Cryptsy. Then some Uno, about 2 tons was taken by MintPal, but eventually was returned to owners by Ferdous Bhai.

Uno was fair at the start, with no pre-mine, and except for the theft that has already liquidated, has been accumulated fairly by current holders.  My best guess is that the biggest holder probably has 10-11k Un, but we'll never really know.

@FK thanks for the response!
Yes what is important is UNO was fairly distributed from the start. It was awesome that uno hold price 0.01 for long time. Now with current price loading going to by hard to  raise the price again - all waiting with cheep uno in hand you know. I don't see pumpers come here anytime soon. I guess price gonna stay low?

Just think it be cool to stick our nose into this insider event, do the selfie thing with the corporate power players.

We can see if other coins want to join.

If we can raise 1000kg bet we could send BW Wink

Mostly the point is to be seen.

I have finally managed to withdraw all my coins from Cryptsy as a precaution until the dust settles. I doubt I will be using them again though.

Cryptsy cold wallet now at 10.72% of all Uno. Wow!  Just on Nov 2, it was 16%.

I have question?  What is the point to keep so many coins in a single cold storage adres?if I have 10 tons i like to split in 10 addresses a ton. Is it possible some of the top wallets owned by one person? We never can tell for definitely  i guess Huh Who is the big whales here? I guess is possible that single person own 30-40 tons and we never know about.

Bittrex offers distribution data which is very cool (last I checked the largest individual Bittrex account was 2,000 UNO). You're right that based on our current information we couldn't be sure if somebody doesn't own 40,000 coins, though I wouldn't see a problem with that if they did. The name of the game in this market is to own as much as you can, more power to them if somebody has 40,000 coins, they'd have good reason to support the market over time. Anyway, I would estimate that the largest holder is probably the 2nd largest address at 8,609 coins, as that does seem to be a private wallet, but they could control other addresses as well.

Oh and to answer your question, I don't know why Cryptsy keeps all of their funds in one address & why the other exchanges split them up. Frankly I don't think it's any more secure to keep your funds in different addresses rather than one if you're only using a single wallet, all of the addresses would be behind the same password, private key, and computer anyway. If some of those Bittrex addresses are on different computers, behind different passphrases, then that's a different story and is likely more secure.
