Sending 2 UNO now, BitcoinCharlie. Sorry, got busy after I replied to that and wasn't sure when you'd be back, so I walked away.  Grin

No problema! Received successfully and sent 2 right back.

Hmmm . . .

Glad I asked.
Would anyone be interested in a trust exercise between two Android wallets?

You send an amount to mine and I will send the same it back to you (Less the system fee, of course)?

Sure. PM or post your address right here.

Still willing to conduct this experiment with anyone. However, it may take me a few hours to return the coin now. I have to run some errands starting at the top of the hour...

Been reading the MazaCoin website front page. A lot of wisdom shared here as they have earnestly tried to engage with tribal members on the adoption of Mazacoin. Will perhaps summarize later. https://mazacoin.org/

If you're going between phones it would probably be easier to screenshot the QR code and post it instead of having each person type out the address.
Agreed, but don't have the capability right now...

Thanks RDD. The share function worked, so I'll use that. When I tap the QR code though it just enlarges, no alphanumeric address visible, must be missing something.

Is anyone using the android wallet? Has anyone used its QR-code scanner? (Wanna know for our paper-wallet project, which is puddling along.)
I toy with the Android wallet here and there, but have not used the scanner feature...

I couldn't figure out a way to send funds to it from my computer. I "copied request to clipboard" but then tried to paste it into a text message as a test and it said clipboard is empty, not sure if I copied an address or QR code. It doesn't seem to ever display an address to directly copy/paste. Maybe I can scan the QR code with my laptop webcam...?

The app does look polished, maybe I'm just a dunce.

It seems you have to tap on the QR image, this displays your address and you must manually type it in, from what I can tell.

You can also choose to "Request UNO" and then select the share icon link up in the top, select email, that should allow you to email the address to yourself.

I sent 1 UNO to myself via manually typing it in, should have it in the next 10 minutes. (Wallet still catching up, first time testing this wallet.)

Also, selecting "Request UNO" at the bottom and clicking the "copy to clipboard" link in the top middle also allowed me to email the address, or whichever method you choose to paste.

I just installed the Android wallet for the first time this afternoon. Will add a couple UNO to it and test it out.

Dogecoin market cap is 40x larger than Unobtanium's, but according to coinwarz it only has 0.16% of the hashrate

Because there's a factor of 1,000 difference between SHA and Scrypt. For GH/s, substitute MH/s. Wink

Ahh, that makes so much sense, thank you!

Greetings All,

I've forked Electrum 2.4.4 for Unobtanium:

https://github.com/cryptapus/electrum-uno

Seems to be working so far. Please let me know if you see any issues.

I also have 2 electrum servers running. If you would like to run an electrum server to support the clients, please see:

https://github.com/cryptapus/electrum-server-uno

Please let me know if you are running a server and I'll add it to the list the client uses.

For more general information about Electrum, please see:

https://electrum.org/#home

Linux and Mac zip files are located here:

https://cryptap.us/uno/electrum

After some work with wine I've been able to build a windows installer as well. Please let me know how it works.

Thanks to Falling Knife, Nat, and Hashmaster. Great answer -- and you know that I asked the question 'cause I wanted to know the answer.

Birthday shortly -- have you invited girl-person krypto geeks to visit? I have.
