why bring the price up unless you're planning to sell? if there was a concerted effort to bring the price up, we would all get dumped on, quite possibly by one of our own. so for that reason, you should probably just wait (i know, patience sucks) for the price to rise organically. our egos tell us that higher price means our pile is worth more, but we are all the buyers as well as the sellers and a lot of us want to keep buying cheap. so the price stays low....for now
IMO, we are already a success.
True, Uno is a success in many ways. Just being here a 14 months is huge.
Realizing a fair price for Uno is important to the network. Using Uno is important to both the network and our service providers. Trading Uno is important to exchanges. When the price is too cheap for too long then parts of our ecosystem feel the pain.
My hope is that these low prices will bring in some new people, but that the price won't stay to low for too long. The network hash has already drope to about 11 ths today, from 30 ths last week.
The big dumpers with a quantity to unload have shown they will go down as far as 005, as we saw on Bittrex yesterday: 1.2 tons for .005. That wallet that unloaded still has a ton in it. If you're interested in scoring a nice quantity like that, this is an acquisition strategy that might work well in a thin market: Put up your large buy order deep below the spot, and let the big seller out. Yes, it will knock down the price temporarily as they sell into it, but you'll get a below-market deal, and the Uno community gets a stronger hand to hold it. It helps break the stalemate and get Uno moving. If you make a haul like that though, be a sport and set the market back up; it doesn't take much. But someone microselling a ton really sucks; I'd rather rip the bandaid (or plastir) off quickly.
