@ Bitcoin National: yes, fun too!! We are seeing a lot of fatigue at this point -- at least in coins that are performing poorly -- and humour leavens the loaf.

@ Thinkin' out Loud: opinions, please: Ian and I were discussing Another Coin (we are gettin' our heads around NXT's SAE): well . . . android enthusiasts? They seem to have almost no knowledge of cryptos, but surely they are an absolute no-brainer potential-adopter group. And we have an android wallet. ?

Great idea about BW.  Is there anyway to setup and "UNO in the News" tab on the UNO website? This article and any others that are written could be posted there.

Then we could tweet articles linking back to the website and get more traffic there as well...just a thought.

Who is in contact with Bryce Weiner?  Could you let him see that article?  Haven't heard from him re: UNO in a while.

Be a Part of History – Blockchain Voting!

The Unobtanium (UNO) community is celebrating it’s 1st birthday with a public vote for charity, an award for the most-favored inventor/innovator nominated by the community!  Already with exciting nominees changing the world for the better, this project promises to capture the imagination of the public, an inspiring breath of fresh air.
 
Using the power of the blockchain for the purposes of immutable representation, voting, even with a great degree of anonymity, has remained elusive in the evolving world of cryptocurrencies.  Originally, Namecoin (NMC) was planned to be used for just that purpose, although the possibility has always been with any blockchain cryptocurrency, even Bitcoin.  Other coins have been in development specifically to be designed for public voting, but none are currently known to have actually been used, yet, for public votes.  Certainly a crude form of largely anonymous public voting occurs on blockchains when people select purchases or charities off of a menu of options, but these are not formal votes.
 
Well, the Unobtanium (UNO) community isn’t waiting for a special algorithm or method for ideal blockchain voting!  All are welcome to join in the fun of making history in the 1st official public vote written on a blockchain!

 
The Blue Crypto Award

All are invited to participate in this historic project!  Voting begins on September 16th.

I am definitely hoping this community chooses a more serious tone (not that it can't still be fun) to appeal to more conservative investors.  I think this brings in the long-term investors like ourselves and is most ideal for Unobtanium.
