The implication seems to be that once you're body wracked with a viral infection, it is to late to get injected with a vaccine or gene therapy for it.  This is true, and as a matter of fact, due to the way many vaccines work with adjuvants to artificially stimulate immune responses, it would probably be highly inadvisable to receive a shot at such a time.

I haven't read the whole story but why its too late for people to get vaccination ? There is no shortage of vaccine and anybody can still get vaccinated if he wants to. Also the vaccination is free in almost every country of the world. So i think its not too late to get vaccinated.

Some people here won't be surprised to learn that I aced all of my high school science courses and took special subjects such as anatomy with two or three other interested kids.  I remember getting one wrong answer on the science block of the standardized tests.  One of those #2 lead pencil things issued by the state.  I continue to hold that my answer was right in the way I was looking at it.  Indeed, it was pretty common for me to get an answer 'right' not because it was actually right, but I knew what was considered to be the 'right answer' by the dumb-shit buractrat 'educators' who write these tests.

I was weak in subjects I didn't care about such as English.  Never did learn the 'parts of speech', but didn't try very hard.  In math I never really learned my time-tables (even as I got through differential equations, but that was later in college of course.)

Of course I know that the 'right answer' is that 'vaccines are safe and effective.'  Everyone knows that!  If you 'research' material like the WHO poster someone put up on a different thread you will 'know' that the mRNA vaccines just 'deliver information'.

Of course we should trust the latter one. cause "informations are already available online publicly, just do your research"

It must be out of frustration that made them publish all these. They wanted to let people see what will happen to those who don't get vaccinated.
But then people don't want to get vaccinated due to the theories spreading and because we don't know who trust we'll just reject vaccines and wait to see what could happen to the people who got vaccinated.

Yes, the article clearly is exaggerating and too emotional, as the OP said, but the story depicted there is true because it’s happening in hospitals every day. Don’t believe it? Well, go check for yourself.

But what I really didn’t expect is that there are so many pandemic and vaccine skeptics. And even those that aren’t skeptical still are against the medication, even those who support the vaccination want to wait for years and then take a shot. Who cares about the disease spreading, right?

This is very sad, people really don’t appreciate the effort of the scientists and doctors. I’m a scientist myself and reading this kind of crap is very disappointing. People can’t even imagine what kind of hard work it takes to conduct high-quality research and develop something that actually works. Nevertheless, we have so many “experts” that feel like they know better than those who dedicated their lives to save people.

Seriously though, I still can’t embrace the level of ungratefulness, I’m currently working in cancer research and trying so hard to develop a decent cure for cancer. I wonder if one day my group succeeds will there be also a bunch of people that refuse to take the drug because they’d think we're trying to genetically modify them…

This is the worst way to convince people to get vaccinated, it comes off as vindictive. Nothing like a "I told ya so" to dying patients as this doctor runs to the media to tell the story of her dying patients' final moments. With how many Americans dying of preventable diseases from smoking to drinking to obesity related illnesses, I'm rather shocked that there aren't doctors which share the last moments of their dying patients as they succumb to other preventable illness.

There are hospitals putting unnecessary medicines to their patients? but that's malpractice and can be sued right? That's just downright unethical especially in the field of medicine. How evil that corporate can be if they will do this, and how risky they are for this kind as there are vast amount of information available right now that is publicly available.

Although I almost always disagree with you, I'd certainly agree that there is a huge problem of people being put on medication they don't need, just in order for companies to boost their profits. And certainly this is even more true in countries that follow the US model of healthcare.

But this doesn't make it true for the Covid-19 vaccine. The pandemic has wrought huge economic damage across the globe. No nation would accept such a devastating economic hit just in order to boost drug sales... the financial losses vastly outweigh any potential financial gains.

They are probably dying from a lifetime of medication that has destroyed their health. This seems to be true of many Americans. I bet they caught the covid infection in the hospital, that is after they had bveen admitted for pharma induced illnesses.

I would expect that the doctor would be working on trying to save someone who is about to die.  At least that would have been my expectation a year and a half ago.  After seeing how 'doctors' are trying to kill off the useless eaters with mis-use of 'vents' seemingly to get the administration some of them big 'covid-death bucks', I still wouldn't expect a lot of hand-holding.  Most doctors just sign the order then let the nursing staff string the IV tubes through the door and let 'nature' take it's course.

Yes exactly, nothing can save them except their natural immunity at the time, no vaccine can safe them because the vaccine only helps to protect against contracting the disease. But that does not mean who does not want to take it should take it because it is normal for someone dying to tell a doctor something like that. Like me I do not take the vaccine and I will not take it but I may reconsider my thought 10 years after the vaccine was introduced. Humans may later be their own problem to the evolution of genetically modified humans in the future.

I don't know if it's normal, but they have no idea. Getting the vaccine when you already have the disease is not going to save you.

It is a normal thing for dying unvaccinated people to beg for vaccination, they will think vaccination is like drug that will heal but not knowing it is a vaccine that could have caused a mild response to build an immunity against the virus. Psychologically, humans are to even still ask if they even know the vaccine can no longer work but most of them do mot know the difference between antibiotics and vaccines.

I usually dont post in topics like this, but can not resist to ask - is she really a doctor? Seriously? Doctor is spreading panic that all unvaccinated would die? Isnt her job is to keep people alive or born a will to live in them, at least not speaking about death topic?

Lets say she sits next to a very old lady, holding her hand and asks her - did you get a vaccine? When the lady answers "No", she releases her hand, saying  "it’s too late. you are going to die" and moves to another patient. She should have changed topic into weather and flowers, and not talk about death and life.

Normally I wouldn't open a thread like this one, which at first glance I found a bit sensationalist. But with the amount of threads saying that vaccinated people are going to die, it seems to me that it is necessary to counteract.
