They should abduct some of these English speaking mercenaries and then parade them before the media. That will show the world who is actually fermenting the trouble in Ukraine.

Easier said than done. From mobile video recordings and live feeds that 247crypto linked to, you can see that those forces are either transported in tightly-sealed buses, surrounded by Ukrainian military, or shunted right to the back upon unloading, with Ukrainian military forming a buffer between them and the protesters. They are treated like family jewels, or prised hounds, to be unleashed at a later point. In the meantime they are kept as damage-free as possible.

I think the only way they'll be paraded before the media, is in plastic bags (if the stand-off comes to that). So far they've only been confronted with people armed with videocameras.

A racist warning below:
When one of the protesters spotted a black-skinned soldier in a bus, he cried "can I pet the monkey". Ukraine in general and their armed forces in particular are rather homogeneous white, so any black soldier immediately stands out.

They might still be hoping to place a NATO base there....

...and who is paying the big cost for this?

Probably Nuland. She has already spent $ 5 billion in Ukraine. She won't mind spending a few billions more, to bring the US-style joys of democracy to Eastern Ukraine.

if there is no oil in Ukraine doubt they will come..

A journalist of Russia’s Lifenews TV channel reported from the central square of Kharkov that according to evidence witnessed by the local citizens, some police officers dressed in uniforms of the Jaguar riot police task force seem unable to understand when addressed in either Ukrainian or Russian. They reportedly communicate with each other in English.

Most of the local policemen are refusing to obey the orders coming in from Kiev. That is why they are shipping hundreds of American and other mercenaries to the East.

They cannot access to the resources from Russian anymore and they will also not be allowed to join the EU.

Well... the EU has agreed to give them 20 billion USD in aid. That will keep them afloat for one or two years (the price rise in the Russian gas alone will cost them around $8 billion per year). After the money runs out, they will go the Cyprus' way.

It is very sad to the Ukrainians that they will gain nothing after this chaos. They cannot access to the resources from Russian anymore and they will also not be allowed to join the EU. Their old friend will turn to hostile while their new hypocritical friend can provide nothing but false promise.
The EU and USA has already earned a lot from this entire incident as they successfully divide Rus and Ukr apart. Rus lost an ally but Putin has successfully demonstrate how weak and sham that the West is. Ukraine is the only loser of this incident.
Their lesson should be learned by other similar country/region. The Democracy cannot be given. If the West say they will give you Democracy, actually they want you pay something far more valuable than what they can provide.

Some Americans want us to come home and defend our own country while leaving others alone.
What a crazy idea?

KIEV, April 8 (RIA Novosti) – A senior official in the Ukrainian presidential administration said Tuesday that neither radical militants from the Right Sector movement nor US special forces participated in an operation earlier in the day against protestors in the eastern city of Kharkiv.
“I officially declare that no militants of Right Sector, not to mention US Special Forces, are currently active in Kharkiv, Donetsk or Lugansk,” said Sergei Pashinskiy, the acting head of Ukraine’s Presidential Executive Office.
The Russian Foreign Ministry earlier voiced concerns about the deployment of military resources in the country’s east, including US mercenaries and militants of the illegally armed far-right group Right Sector.
According to the ministry, their task is to suppress protests in the country’s southeastern regions, which have been organized by residents against Kiev’s current policies. A source close to Ukrainian law enforcement reported earlier that three combat units were transferred to the regions, including US special forces and Right Sector militants.
Protesters have been rallying for federalization across Ukraine’s eastern and southeastern regions of Donetsk, Kharkiv, and Lugansk, calling for Crimea-style referendums on the status of their regions within Ukraine.
Beginning last month, protests in eastern cities have been held each Sunday, with citizens refusing to accept their newly-appointed governors as legitimate, as they were installed by the organizers of a coup in the capital.
On Monday, protestors in the Donetsk region established a “people’s council,” which declared the formation of an independent Donetsk Republic and announced plans to hold a referendum by mid-May on joining Russia. The protestors also called on Moscow to send in a peacekeeping force.
In Kharkiv, activists seized the Regional Administration building and proclaimed the formation of a Kharkiv Republic.
Russia has repeatedly said that Ukrainian nationalists and their aggressive rhetoric bear full responsibility for the crisis in the country, which resulted in the reunification of Crimea with Russia last month.
Moscow said that a federal form of government is the only way out of the protracted political crisis in Ukraine, currently a unitary state which is de-facto split into a Ukrainian-speaking west and a Russian-speaking east and south.

Greystone / Blackwater better stay out of Ukraine. They will be no match for the rebels, many of whom are ex-Spetsnaz.

I say they are no match from Russian Army and Spetsnaz.

In Nikolaev & Lugansk today where shoot civilians.

Hmm... US mercenaries in action. Just a matter of time before some of these idiots commit a grave mistake and give bad name to the US.

Worse than already is?
