The United States began to raise interest rates, and continue to add, China does not dare to raise interest rates. There is no progress in financial reform, and real estate risks are high!
The impact of trade wars on market risk appetite will be the main reason for short-term fluctuations in financial markets. If the trade war escalates, the world may once again enter a risk-off model similar to the beginning of February this year.

The trade war is not good for both sides, but it is impossible to lose both. After all, the overall strength of the United States is more dominant, especially in the financial and high-tech fields, the world can not find a few opponents.
The Great Depression of the stock market is affirmative and a global depression.

Wow, trade war with the Chinesem that is like trying to flip a tank with a twig as a fulcrum. Maybe Americans could do it, but the products out of China are huge! I mean we all see things made in the US but are assembled in China. China's man power is huge and cheap. I just hope this move by Trump will not bury the American economy.

Even before the emergence of Trump, the past American Presidents especially the Abama Administration saw the Chinese Economy as emerging economy and now, the Chinese technology has way been developed.

Take for instance, the phones and accessories are far better than what they were before. Whether Trump wants to raise the tariff or not, the cost of production in China is far cheaper than most countries of the world.

President Donald trump has made  China his economic rival by announcing to impose hefty trade tariffs, but the Chinese  respond  to by increasing duty of their own : sparking the prospect of a trade war that has now impacted on global stock market

Looks like this guys doesnt wanna have any further trades with other countries. If he continues to tighten economic relations like this then im sure there will come the time when trades will shut of with America and rest of the country and we will enter into the Cold War. He is being too greedy about the America's power and I think he should be some more flexible than this. Whats he really achieving with such strictest rules? Anyone please enlighten me with very good intentions of the Donald and I will think about it as brightest mind over the earth.  Roll Eyes

America is afraid of China for one simple reason: the growth rate of the Chinese economy is 4 times higher than the growth rate of the American economy. Extrapolation of current trends for the medium term indicates that China will shift the US from the leading positions by about 2030.
There is no doubt in this fact that CHINA has great economy and it is said that china is silent giant and it can anytime over take super powers. China is the only state that became veto power without exhibiting its power in war rather just because of its economic power. If America does not keep growing its economy, China is going to beat it so easily and become the new super power of the world.

Actually, Trump's war with China is already lost. That's because the times when China was mass producing cheap knockoffs is long gone. Nowadays they're making great products that the rest of the world is grabbing like hot cakes. Just look at the phones. A couple years back they were making low quality stuff, but now their phones offer similar technology to Samsung and Apple for half the price. Personally, I have some Xiaomi and Huawei products and they are great.
Trump is trying to impose bans on Chinese products and China is answering with the same, the problem is that the cost of producing stuff in the US is much higher. If they can't agree the USA will start to fall behind.
You are right China's biggest advantage is cost of producing which is much lower then USA and they cannot compete with them they need to talk them about this issue and imposing bans is never been good idea for any one now China is a great power without any doubt and if USA want to compete with them then surely they need to do some good research and work on this

This is a good thing. There will be a lot of free capital on the market. Investors do not feel Patriotic feelings. Perhaps they will invest their money in cryptocurrencies. It seems to me that world-scale speculators knew about this and have long been buying cryptocurrencies at low prices. Now their time begins. Cry all who sold bitcoins for 6000 dollars.

You are investing in a asset ,to get some dollars as profit. You should not consider the Patriotic feelings.Since the price of bitcoin is around 6000$,it will be best chance to inverse in bitcoin. If you have more bitcoin, when the price is high. You will get more dollars for the holding bitcoin.Don't sell at cheap price.

Why can't they just be friends and help others to help the world grow? Somebody has to stand and try to make them understand the we have more problems that we have to solve rather than discussion who's the best country.

At the end of the day, its the masses that would bear the brunt of the whole economic saga. For the presidents to start something like this, I am sure they must have thought it through or maybe not because from my own analysis, it then means that by increasing the tariff from the Chinese goods, the price would increase which would be passed to the final consumer and they would in-turn complain about how the government of the day increased their hardship compared to previous government running the country. The same thing goes to the Chinese citizens too except government is making available another source of reducing the citizens financial burden. The best is for the two leaders to meet at a round table because none of them pays for anything they use so they won't feel the effect.

If there are conflicts between two countries, it will affects the status of economic development, and also there is a strong competition of business that make some form of destructions of the two countries, hopefully there is a direct solution on that certain issue or peace talk so that the problem will automatically resolve.

Tit for tat. Is Trump retaliating for unfair tariffs against the United States? It sounds like he is. But the status quo, change is hard so China is retaliating. What can you do but wait for the new status quo.

This thread details what could be the motive for the united states raising tariffs on china.

https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/m.40771421

It is interesting to note china does many things the media condemns russia for doing.

#1 Media condemns russia for attempted expansion in crimea, while ignoring china's attempts at expansion in the south china sea. Double standard? What do people think about this?

#2 The media attacked russia for "murdering stray dogs" prior to the world cuphttps://www.theguardian.com/commentisfree/2018/jun/04/russia-killing-stray-dogs-world-cup-fifa  I think most know by now china has a long history of murdering animals on the endangered species list. Rhinos, elephants, tigers, blue fin tuna and other endangereds typically have large markets in china which heavily contribute to them being in danger of extinction. It is also typical of china to treat dogs very inhumanely in food markets, etc.

#3 Not long ago the media condemned russia for "hacking the 2016 US election". Here's a news story about china hacking US military servers and stealing stealth fighter data which they used to design and build their own J-20 stealth fighter faster than they otherwise would have. Source: https://www.japantimes.co.jp/news/2015/01/19/national/china-stole-f-35-blueprints-lockheed-snowden-data-appears-show/

...

If there is ever anything in the news the media attacks russia for--a person can usually find china doing the same thing while receiving zero criticism for it. The media works hard to protect china and it could be fair to say that china's economy is the most protected in the entire world.

Donald Trump also said India has 100% tariffs of products imported from USA. Looks like "tariffs protection" days are over.

Read Trump Targets India Again: "They Charge As Much As 100 Per Cent Tariff"

Donald Trump was responding to a question in his recent decisions to impose tariffs on import of foreign products. Trump has defended it by arguing that this is in retaliation to the imbalance of trade that the US has with major trading partners including China, the European Union and India.

Ahead of next week's maiden 2+2 dialogue with India, US President Donald Trump today accused New Delhi of charging as high as 100 per cent tariff on import of American products."We have countries where, as an example, India, they charge up as much as 100 per cent tariff. We want the tariffs removed," Trump said.He was responding to a question in his recent decisions to impose tariffs on import of foreign products.
