The most common mistake many new investors make is rushing into cryptocurrencies without any guidance. I think this is the first thing that is very important for you to understand. If you understand this, your purpose for investing in bitcoin is correct because you have enough for your daily needs.

If you want to be successful, have a rich mindset, spend less, and invest more depositing money in the Bank is not the right choice. Don't give up on your dreams.

Good god there's so much bad information in this thread.  I sound like a broken record because I've had this same conversation a millions times on this forum, but there's a lot of things to take in to account. How old is the person, how much income do they currently have each year, are they on track for their retirement goals or are they already retired? etc etc etc.

Once you know all this, then you can formulate a plan.  Putting most of it in the bank at a 3% interest rate which is not even remotely coming close to the rate of inflation (your break even level) would be a stupid idea.

Putting it all in bitcoin would likely be a stupid idea.  Putting it all in anything would be a stupid idea. Diversify.

I don't like keeping money in the bank because it makes no sense at all, you will only earn a very small amount of interest per year and that's a very big turn off, I will rather invest 90% of the money into stock and crypto, most important Bitcoin, 100,000$ available for long term investment is a life-changing opportunity, with this certain amount of money you can easily become a multimillionaire if you invest in the right projects.

Bank interest in my country is currently no more than 10% per year and then subject to other fees so that it remains around 7% per year, and annual inflation in my country is around 6% per year so saving money in a bank is a loss, it's better to use money for investments such as stocks, mutual funds , property or something else, and the best investment trend right now is bitcoin because of the fantastic price increase potential and can make us millionaires in a short time.

it is clear that saving money in a bank if the intention is to enjoy the benefits of interest you will obviously be very disappointed, because you will not get it there, but the bank is needed for other conveniences which we might really need at a certain time.
I totally agree and agree with you that the best way to make money, we can make more profits, of course, by investing in stocks and crypto, and I tend to be more into crypto. but once again all investments will always have dynamics and the possibility of loss can also occur if you don't do a good analysis first or at least look for safety by buying a reliable coin and it is ranked the best on CMC.
but profits also cannot always be instant, only very few can experience that, investing in crypto always requires a long time and patience, to get fantastic results.

If I have a $100,000 in my account the first thing I’ll do is have a good plan. I’ll split it into 2, 50% of it will be converted into bitcoin that will be holded for years while the other half goes to different crypto coins that has a high chance on the long run. I would like to spend it on bitcoins but I have hopes on other coins.

Having a good plan on how you use your money will make you financially stable.
Yeah if you proceed according to the plan, you can get something good. A good decision to invest in the bitcoin blockchain system is convenient and has a future A major attraction for investors is the opportunity to earn a high rate of profit by investing small amounts. As long as bitcoin continues to be a good investment demand will continue to grow.

Now you have $100,000 in your account, pure savings, and you don't need this amount of money to cover your daily expenses. Obviously it's good/free money to use at will. Let's say if you deposit the money into a bank and the annual interst rate is 3%, you will get a steady interest income year by year. If you use this money to buy Bitcoin, let's say the BTC drops to $17,000, you'll buy less than 6 Bitcoins. In the long run, what would you do with this money ? And why ?

If I have that amount, maybe what I will do there is I will put at least 25k$ in the stock market, then the rest of the balance, the 50% that was left, I will use again for long-term investment for Bitcoin, then the rest will be in the top I will use altcoins.

In the other top altcoins that I will buy, I will invest in day trading so that somehow I have an income even if it is not a big amount, as long as the important thing is that there is a profit coming in every day.

Diversifying investments is good advice based on the amount of funds owned but allocating 50% each for bitcoin and altcoin investments is not recommended because the risk of altcoins is higher than bitcoin even though on the top altcoin list, I only allocate 25% for altcoins and add the rest for bitcoins, if you have skills in developing other businesses and the remaining 25% can be used for that purpose, business profits can be used for daily needs without having to involve investment funds.
70% for Bitcoin and 30% for altcoins, I think that was the best fund sharing to be made during this bear season. The idea of having more funds and Bitcoin accumulation compared to altcoins is that we look for security and assurance, at least we have more chances to keep our money back if we invest more in Bitcoin. We have to understand that Bitcoin will recover first than these altcoins and holding them until the next bull market is worth enough.

I agree with you.  The price of Bitcoin is currently on the rise.

However, we do not know when the bear market will end.  In what year will the price of Bitcoin exceed $70,000?  Will this event happen in 2024?  In 2025?  In 2026?  If the bear market lasts long enough, then many alternative cryptocurrencies will become significantly cheaper.

In addition, in the next bull cycle, not all altcoins and tokens will rise in price more than Bitcoin.  Many of these cryptocurrencies will disappoint crypto enthusiasts with their price growth dynamics.  Because there are a very large number of different coins, tokens and NFTs on the market at the moment.

Therefore, it is advisable to make most of the investments in Bitcoin, and not in alternative crypto assets.

I agree, for those people that are already in retirement age and they're too old to work then they can't put that into that much risk and just go with the conversative deposits and investments just like putting it on the bank.
If the person is too old and understands bitcoin then that's a plus to that person but if not, it's better to just be conversative and sensitive with that money and save a lot but invest a little that's not too hurting if it losses.

The last statement will work, for those who can adopt the market and have that chance to learn more about Bitcoin or other cryptocurrency investing is a good opportunity to grow that money.

But, if you don't have that time then go with conserving that money and try to do some little
investment while the major portion of your save money can be stored in the bank for emergency
needs.
Definitely.
It's because not everyone has the ability to take the same risk just as we and that's why they should think of a more conversative investment that will at the same time protect their money and have a little to earn with.
This is applicable for most old people that has got money thus, if they don't want too, then they should just keep their wealth if they think it's enough to cover a lifetime.

Very protective and not a fan of taking that risk for invetment to grow the money that originally they already have, people who are convince that the save money is enough to cover their needs.

I agree that not everyone have that capabilities to take that risk, they are  not convince that
they can grow their money and let that money be stored to a bank for small APY.

Everything about life is a risk. It's is difficult to avoid risk if one want to make it in life. Even going out for work is a risk. So, it's better to neglect the risk and face the difficulties of life to make it to the top.

If it's really cold savings, I'll definitely invest 50% of my money in bitcoin, and I'll hold onto it for a long time.
and the other half I will make business capital in the food / restaurant sector.
because this will be my daily and monthly income, whereas bitcoin will be my 4 yearly income.

In my opinion, this is a very reasonable plan!  Investing in bitcoin is essentially investing in a very promising deflationary asset.

At the same time, the price of bitcoin has now fallen from a high of $69,000 to a low of $15,000-22,000.  This makes it possible after the end of the bear market to increase your initial capital at times.

Diversifying your investments (investing in food and restaurant business) is also a very good decision.

People always need food, this business (in my opinion) will always bring a stable monthly income.

If I have amount like this surely I am going to invest into bitcoin because I have feeling this is going to be one of the best investment for you and can change your life forever but here we need few precautious as well because this is risky even many still feels this is fraud, so anything can happen which needs good intention from your side as well if you want to stay safe with this money until your retirement.

You have to divide this all in few tiers, and then you can enjoy with this investment in better way but if you have better salary option then surely you need to work on this for few minutes or hours daily then take good profit with this investment and enjoy your life in luxury because things can change quickly so just stay safe and keep things in your own control.

When considering  investing in Bitcoin, its crucial to believe its potential to become widely-used form of payment in future and to understand that it is rapidly  growing asset. Additionally, it is cyclical & inherently very volatile asset which can fall to the extent of 90% in bear cycle, despite this, you have to continue holding onto it with patience during these hard times to harvest substantial profit in bull market.

But even if someone understands investing about Bitcoin and even though they are professional traders, when they have retired from their main job, they prioritize emergency needs funds rather than investments because they need these funds for treatment and it is very detrimental to cut losses from crypto investments for future medical needs, anyone will prioritize health conditions so it should be from the start to allocate funds for emergency needs without disrupting funds from crypto investments.
When saving up for your health then it should have been done earlier or into those years when you are just working or still earning from your main job.Its true that on the time that these people do make out retirement then they would really be putting up focus on saving up themselves for their health in case of emergencies. Its not bad to make your crypto investment to be at affected because not all would really be that not much serious or really sticking out for long term.We do all know that we do really make out an investment for some sole purpose and if your purpose would be basing up or focusing up on health
then its your choice on when you would be pulling it all off.Its your money and its your right on when and where you would be focusing yourself and its up to our choice.

It's a choice that you need to be wise, saving and having a good amount of funds for your retirement will help in terms of financial capabilities. Either investing or saving the intention is always depending on you.

People who work well managing their savings and aiming to invest to grow their investment
are people who can gain enjoyable retirement in the future.

Emergency funds shouldn't be stored in a bank, because sometimes they can't provide the amount we need instantly if it's too big, of if we're going to withdraw via ATM machine, sometimes it runs out of money or in maintenance. Emergency funds should be put in an insurance, because most emergency situations are about health, like sudden accident, or an illness. Insurance company could easily release the funds anytime, less hassle than going to a bank.

Also having a cash on hand is also much better for an emergency. Just make sure you have a safety vault in your house where you can hide it.

If i must deposit then not in fiat anymore and if am to invest, bitcoin is my first security asset for an inves because it is profitable andd not onky that it is decentralized and volatile, most people fear the fact that cryptocurrency is being volatile h
and they have this kind of fear of missing out, this is not true, any investment that can yield profit in short or long term is a good invest without the risk or fear of loosing the entire money.
.
If you will going to deposit the money how will it be if it is not in fiat? Just being curious but anyway yes as long as it can give him a profit not only in paper gain then it will be good. He can also answer his question based on the question of how long he would like to stay his money on the bank or how long will he let him let this money in investment and also for the purpose, if I am going to ask if what will be my decision it will be if it is for long term and I don't have any plans for that money and expecting not to have a huge profit on it then go for the bank.
