10 more days to go for the UTRUST crowdsale , hope we can finish the ico early so UTRUST can proceed with the next developments for UTRUST.

This is good news I searched their website and it says there that UTRUST ICO starts on November 2, 2017, 2pm UTC. Can't wait to participate at Utrust ICO crowedsale. As of now they will only accept ETH/BTC wallet. Smiley Smiley Smiley (reference from their website)

As far as the tech goes Utrust have all the chances of selling out before the ICO ends.

Maximum Crowdsale Cap 49M USD, even though this is a top notch product, i am skeptic about hitting the hard cap. While ago it would been a no brainer, but people seem to be investing less and less on icos, and more to pre icos.

I am still confident that UTrust will be sold out during the 7 days of the ICO but you are right. People seem to only invest hesitantly in the last time. And that a lot of tokens are below their ICO price atm doesn't help at all.

I like the project and the concept of this UTRUST! This future online payment made easier for me!!!  I want to know more about Utrust. Cheesy

check out their whitepaper. This is nice project and team is active

Thanks! I downloaded and checked out their whitepaper and I'm empowered by their vision. I will definitely use Utrust and invest on it.  They got what's missing in the online payment market especially their customer payment protection. This will protect my physical and visual purchases! thumbs up for that!!  Cheesy
I also think that payment protection is the most important part of their whole project. Many people appreciate having one.

Yeah, we all now that customers needs protection! It's great to know that UTRUST have it all, FLATFORM, COINS, PROTECTION, low buyer purchase risk! I can wait to use this UTRUST and experience their promise.

Yes UTRUST will simplify the way we use our crypto money, not so much people send it into bank account, and UTRUST will allow us to pay on different platform with different crypto currencies. Its really a need for crypto users.

I would not wonder if someday, financial institutions such as banks would have a partnership with UTRUST. It is not impossible. Smiley

Note my words, the day will come, when we dont even need to use banks any more! Free from slavery with crypto!

Well that time will come, the question is when it will come ... not in the next 2 years probably, also not in the next 5 years as I think.

neah, it's gonna take a lot longer than that. banks will get in on the action to be sure. the problem isn't banks, but governments. money is power and they control money for now. if crypto replaces money,well...it's going to get interesting.

I think a secured and reliable payment platform is the missing link for the cryptocurrency mass adoption. Just imagine if people can pay and accept payments in cryptocurrencies. Your Doge can be accepted to buy goods without needing to be converted in Bitcoin. That would be the dream. It is the beginning of a truly borderless and cashless payments. But I wonder, which cryptocurrencies will be part of the Utrust platform after it’s release?

I think everyone who is participating in this topic agrees with you. Crypto payment are still to rare in outside world, we need platforms like Utrust to share the word and make crypto more attractive to outsider.

They already raised some money on pre-ico. So development already started?

That would be logic. But ICO takes time to prepare too.

Alice sells the private key of her Ethereum wallet to Bob. Bob pays through UTRUST. Alice is notified that the money is in escrow and sends the private key to Bob. Bob claims the key does not work. Alice opens a dispute.

Tell me how the UTRUST Mediator resolves this transaction.

I think this situation is impossible. No one buys private key of Ethereum wallet from others. Because the key cannot be changed. How can they use this wallet if the old owner still has private key?

Proving the point that whoever is saying escrow will ensure safe transactions is underestimating the complexity of transactions. That is why I am surprised that the UTRUST whitepaper contains so few details about their distinguishing features, the escrow and arbitration mechanism. It is not only about the code and tech, UTRUST need to teach their mediators protocols to solve difficult situations. And the most difficult of them all, the unsolvable situation.

How do you escrow goods which cannot be validated?

That Ethereum address containing UTRUST tokens was a good example.

The seller and buyer cannot trust the escrow with both the private key and the public address. The escrow cannot check whether the private key unlocks the public address.

Do not complicate things   Try to read the whitepaper and you will be enlightened.
"Enlighten me then"  Cool But seriously read white paper and you will know everything that you should know

Good question I haven't thought so much about. But you are right, a situation like this can hardly be solved probably. But maybe if Alice gives the private key to the mediator? Something someone would probably never would like to do...

But there are probably other situations where stuff could happen. If someone claims that a good has not arrived, when you can't track the package. When I sold some stuff on ebay a lot of people wanted to go for the cheapest sending option, which is not trackable. So if something happens you can't check for example.

There's always the option to only send your package with tracking ID. As a seller, this is your extra layer of protection, against possible scammers.

What's wrong with the post office services here in Australia, they wont take the responsibility for damaged or missing parcel. They want you to purchase extra insurance. Why am I paying for the service in the first place then?!

Utrust will have to go through some difficult disputes, it is un avoidable. All they can do is provide the best customer service possible when dealing with them

Yes, that's something I think now too. UTrust has to give a really good customer service, to handle such problems.

Sure, you can send stuff with a trackable parcel, but then you sometimes pay as much as the goods itself or at least too much in relation to the value of the goods. So people don't want to take this option sometimes. Also in Germany for example you need to bring in proof that it's for example the fault of the sending service that something broke etc. It's really a hard thing.

Well, if you ship something cheap, then the risk is small anyway. The main thing is, that it's been proven to work in the real world before, look at ebay and paypal. Obviously it's profitable too.

90 percent of the questions have been answered in the white paper
But not everyone understands English, like me I hate the picture version of the white paper.
Because the image version of the white paper Google translation does not come out!
So that I can not fully understand the whole of the project.

They already have translations of the whitepaper in more languages than just english available on their website. Maybe your mother tongue is one of them.
