More and more positive news concerning legalizing Crypto come from various part of the world.
This one is from Central Asia: Uzbekistan Legalizes Cryptocurrency
It is the second Post-Soviet country that made such a step, the first one was Belarus.

Surely this is good news for all those who have wrestled and helped the development of bitcoin around the world, and I really hope with this news, later countries that have not legalized bitcoin can legalize bitcoin to help the economy of a very weak country, with the good news this, everyone hopes with what i expect from the past ...

I would struggle to believe in any government that bans cryptocurrency. There is no need, it doesn't need to threaten the national currency, it can supplement or even improve it. I would assume I am living in a dictatorship if my country banned crypto, that would be cause for rebellion.

Yes well sooner or later crypto will step in. But lets face it crypto is nightmare for adopting. Several hundred years of one system could be changed with another one that exists only 10 years and it is created by ordinary people with brain power.

It is a pity that I can not move to Uzbekistan. It's good that at least someone says good news and supports, but does not prohibit. I would be glad to legalize, because I do not feel comfortable now, when legally the issue is not solved (in my country at least). I need to study more about countries that legalize bitcoins and cryptocurrencies.

With Belarus, no tax for cryptocurrencies is real but I found something wrong with the thread, the website OP gave looks like copying cointelegraph.
Is it me or?

Guys, did you read the article and see something inside talking about the country legalizing cryptocurrencies?
I think the title is misleading if you read the article the point is their president "approved the creation of a competence center for distributed registry technologies at the Mirzo Innovation Center Innovation Center. Its main tasks will be the formation of conditions for using the capabilities of blockchain, increasing the human resources potential and supporting domestic developers in mastering this technology"

The only reference to cryptos is "Earlier, the representatives of the Central Bank of Uzbekistan negatively spoke in relation to virtual money, calling them an instrument for financing terrorism."

I have noticed this but on the first sentence it says
"Already this year, by September 1, a bill that legalizes Bitcoin and other digital currencies in the country will be prepared."

Well, may be this bill that legalizes crypto was ready by September, but signed by government only now?

I see that not so rich countires are legalising cryptocurrency such as venezuela or uzbekistan. I am trying to analyse the reason and the results of this period. Korea, China, Russia and United States are more opposite of cryptocurrenies, we will see when these powerful countries will adopt cryptocurrencies. I hope this will happen soon

Yes. Most of the countries try to legalize bitcoin are developing ones. Rules in developed countries are usually more strictly. Taxes in developed countries are much higher. Developed countries also don't want their economic to be in risk.

Uzbekistan is the kind of country that understood very well the importance of cryptocurrencies. This is a country that even if it's a small one it is ready to develop. Good job Uzbekistan!

Good news! Atleast they’ll be backed up by their government now unlike in some countries instead of seeing the potential in accepting cryptocurrency they destroy it by publishing lies about it.

it is very interesting that ex soviet union countries such as Belarus and Uzbekistan legalize btc because in my mind they are always positioned as countries who love centralization and don`t allow such things that can bring decentralization. Great News.

Bitcoin cannot be ignored anymore. Day by day more countries accept cryptocurrency. It's the power of bitcoin and its community. It's a reward for those who believed bitcoin. Those who didn't panic after some bad news and hold their bitcoins.

Great news. No matter how small an impact Uzbekistan might have economically, it is great to see that more and more countries are trying to come up with ways to regulate bitcoin instead of banning it.

this is definitely positive news and as long as we kept such news into the public domain I can assure you that the general marketcap of all coins will rise and this will force people to invest in cryptocurrencies.

this is very good news, it indicates that bitcoin has been accepted by the world
and another one, this morning I saw the news on television, if the venezuela country buys bitcoin on a large scale.
the country that's is currently experiencing a very severe crisis, everyone in the country exchange their official currency with bitcoin.
and they use bitcoin as a daily transaction tool. for example to pay for coffee, pay for laundry, and also buy food
it seems that soon bitcoin will really be the world's currency
hopefully it will come true

Already this year, by September 1, a bill that legalizes Bitcoin and other digital currencies in the country will be prepared.

Its main tasks will be the formation of conditions for using the capabilities of blockchain, increasing the human resources potential and supporting domestic developers in mastering this technology. It is planned that this structure will work as early as June 1, 2018.

I think that this is bigger news than just legalizing cryptocurrencies. They are going to actively explore its uses and that can only grow interest and support. Hopefully some larger countries can follow their lead.

This can be huge. Uzbekistan paving the way for blockchain technology. I anticipate to see how far they ingrain it throughout their society.
