WTF? Was their one piece of useful information in this post?

No it's just one part in a coordinated series of posts attacking Bruce specifically and Bitcoin secondary on the forum at the moment. I guess they'll grow tired after a while.

I'd say that is due to pre Bitcon hype as many speculated & bought in at around $11.2 early last week

And the ANNOUNCEMENTS that are going to happen on Saturday.....   The Bitcoin World will be a-buzz.....

We decided for sure last night.  OnlyOneTV will be making a HUGE HUGE HUGE announcement at the Conference.   One you're all gonna be VERY excited about... when you hear it.  I can't say now.  It's a surprise.   But I will say it during my opening speech on Saturday morning.   :-)

Actually, we'll be announcing another super exciting thing at the Conference too.   I'm not really sure which one more people will be excited about.   Probably Both.   Both of these things will change the Bitcoin world immediately!

Oh, and those are only my OWN announcements...  I'm also privy to some major announcements to be made at the Conference by major vendors also.   They're gonna Rock your World too!!

& today we have:

Quote from: Bruce Wagner on 26 August 2011, 10:24:56

...

As for the two big announcements I had....   I suppose I should have said what happened.    One of them got tabled.   I decided, after getting more and more feedback on the idea...  that I should postpone announcing it.   It's just too big....   and too risky...   for the moment.    But that idea might come back.   We'll see.

The other --- second --- big announcement was...   three more Conferences....  and a World Cruise.      Personally, I think that IS HUGE.    Don't you?   ( Please only answer if you attended this Conference.... so you have some real world frame of reference. )

...

peeps are now seeing a classic pump & dump so cutting their losses exit & maybe for ever, thanks to the above

I *just* got into bitcoins about a week or two ago.  I ordered another card (just a $120 5770)... at ~10 i would have made that back in ~2 months.

I woke up this morning, watched saw the market...

Card arrived. I refused delivery. I think I gotta weather a few more ups and downs before I jump in more.

What I don't understand is why the network hash isn't going down... i would have thought more people would be turnin off their mega rigs at this point.

There is no reason to turn off your rig as long as:

a) It's paid for and you have no need to sell parts, and
b) You're still making enough money to pay for the "inconvenience" of mining (upkeep).

Yeah, and that little thing called electricity...........

i think its slowly going down... its been over valued for a long time.

O RLY?
I think they're most certainly under valued at the moment, considering they're divisible up to 8 decimal places. That's for a reason, right?
That's just my "opinion" though...

its not really under valued or over valued its simply ... valued.

what will be interesting to see is once there are NO MORE coins to be mined...

what will happen then will be very cool.
21 million coins will be shared over 7 billion poeple
each person wants on average "1000$" how many BTC each dose that = to?

omg BUY NOW!

this however is a pipe dream...

BTC will never replace $

because 2012 is coming and soon we are all going to DIE!!!

so BUY BUY BUY all you want. in the end a piano will come crashing down out of the blue and kill you.

Failure to hold those higher support levels is very discouraging.

Now, I think we can expect to see a re-visit to the $1.90 region ... perhaps lower.

It will drop by $0.50 every day for the next 26 days

In about 16 days bitcoins will have a negative value. The seller will need to bundle bitcoins with fiat money to get rid of then.
