I don't think if this is right decision I made to make my coins secured just after I received from my imported address I eventually transfer the coins to my primary wallet. And I guess this site and there service is not recommended but its up to you to take the risks I just answered what I have experienced and what I have done.

I have just checked their site and it seems ok however 0.1btc seems like alot for 6 letters case sensitive. Im not sure how hard it is to generate it just seemed quite expensive especially if I need to trust that my private key is kept safe. Thanks for the suggestion anyway.
Yeah so make sure that your name or custom word will not reach in 6 letters above because you have to pay, just five charater word is enough for free. And again its up to you guys if you will proceed to make a custom address using that site  its not recommended though
I don't think it's a good idea to use the address that you got from them, especially when they just send you the private key to your email. That just simply mean that they DO have access to your address since they know your private key, unless there's a way to change it. And as far as what we've achieved, there isn't a way to do that just yet.

Is there an option to generate a custom Bitcoin address on Android. Is there a vanitygen app or can it only be used on a vps or pc. If there is not an app is there an inbrowser vanitygen alternative?

If you look in the OP of samr7's thread (Near the bottom) you'll see that someone had made an android version. I think I tried it a long time ago and it wasn't working. It was developed in 2012 and no one seemed to keep up with it. You can try it out though and see if it'll work now!

Vanitygen: Vanity bitcoin address generator/miner [v0.22]

aVanityGen Alpha v0.2: Vanity address generator for Android. [UPDATED 1/11/12]

i think generating an address with speficic name until 5 sensitive letters on android would take an age,and so far no app for android to generate an address and generating using browser really not encouraged, but hey you can just hire someone to generate an address for you,and the one who's already trusted on this forum is shorena if i'm not mistaken

Use split key vanity gen and it doesn't matter if they're 'trusted' or not. Shorena uses this method and you never have to trust him because he never has your private key. Essentially what you're doing is taking a part private key and 'adding' your other part private key to make a new private key for your very own secure vanity address.

https://en.bitcoin.it/wiki/Split-key_vanity_address

The file is not available as it has expire, probably because of how old it is. I will look into using a split key vanity method but I will probably end up purchasing a vps for a month to generate the addresses I need. Thanks for suggesting the app.

A VPS will not help you unless you can get one with a meaty GPU. A CPU will take ages to find a decent address, while it will only take hours on a GPU. E.g. 1test23 would take my GPU (GTX 970) ~5 hours for a 50% chance, while my CPU (4 core i5) would take over 10 days for the same chance to find a fitting private key. Split vanity does not make this slower. I have a step by step for it in my sales thread here[1]. Let me know if I can help you with it. This can also mean help you set something up so you can search yourself, just not on android.

Its not safe to do that as someone else knows your private key. They also ask a very high price for what they offer, well unless you take a free address.

I have just checked their site and it seems ok however 0.1btc seems like alot for 6 letters case sensitive. Im not sure how hard it is to generate it just seemed quite expensive especially if I need to trust that my private key is kept safe. Thanks for the suggestion anyway.

You might use Vanity Pool, you dont need to trust them as it uses split key method. The pricing might be lower (starting at about 0.01 BTC), but the more you pay, the more people have incentive to find your vanity key. Also you should outbid other vanity keys so your work get highest priority (there are not many miners, so being at top is important if you dont want to wait very long). Check ThePiachu tread for more info:

Vanity Pool - vanity address generator pool
https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/vanity-pool-vanity-address-generator-pool-84569

I might check that out. I will see how my vps goes for the next few weeks and if I have no luck I don't mind paying.

I used to mine for them, not sure if anyone is still active. Its worth a shot though as you dictate the price and its split key vanity as well, so there are no risks.

Doesn't matter whether that service is free or not because they KNOW your private key, so it's very risky.
You better use offline vanitygen application which already mentioned by other member.

Also, generate 6 letters case sensitive isn't that difficult if you patient enough and don't use it at old PC.
I know that already mate, maybe you misinterpreted it, as what I said I didn't recommed this site to make your custom address and its up to you to make some move and I never and didn't promoting this site. Because you must the only one knows your private keys and dont share that to anyone and thats make this service too risky to trust.

Generating vanity address in android will take years i think because i have heard that even high specific computer will take hours/days to generate one address. Thats why i am quite sure, there is no any android app to generate bitcoin vanity address.

There are also many online service that claim to generate vanity address for you however its better you never trust them and put much bitcoin in those addresses as your private key may be compromised by those service provider.

Warning

do not use any address you got from this site. they do have your private keys and they can steal them whenever they want. there are a lot of accusations against them. you can find some of them here

You do know vanitygen runs on both linux and windows, it has binary versions for windows available, so you can basically run it on any pc you want... If you don't own a pc or laptop running windows or linux yourself, you must have parents/siblings/friends that own a normal desktop pc, or am i missing something here?

I'm pretty sure that generating a vanity address on an android phone would be bad for your cpu and drain your battery in no-time.

I understand that it's just I can't access one for a while right now so was wondering of there were any alternatives. I have a vps currently but it's a very cheap one (it cost me $5 for a year) so I don't think it's capable of doing too much.
if you're going to generate an address, then you just need a CPU,even a vps with 1 CPU could afford to generate, you just need to wait a little bit more than usual, but i'm sure VPS could be turned on for 24 hours without any break

or even he can just get a free rdp anywhere as long it's free and remote it from his phone and finally he could generate it,there's so many way to generate an address, just don't expect too much from a phone which designed only for small task

You could always make or buy an Ubuntu Live CD/USB as well. Basically you use the CD/USB and say you want to 'try Ubuntu' (Linux) and from there you have a brand new system that you just run off of the CD/USB. It may be a cheaper option for you (depending on how much a good VPN would cost for a month) and IMO it's more secure than a VPS. That and you'll always own it instead of 'renting' a VPS.

I don't recommend anyone doing that because its just not privacy friendly and generally a good idea. Vanity bitcoin addresses are a gimmick and should not be used for any real transactions in my opinion, unless you run a certain service that for some reason requires that you always use the same address or something.
