How can a unlimited supply be reduced by coin burning?
You could burn every amount its still unlimited?

@trucobit there's always room for a civil talk here, if you wish.
Spreading nonsense all over the place it's just stupidity. Read the ANN well, read the whitepaper and learn why mining was tought as a solo pools limited system.
Vectorium's source code is open and available to everyone, with it's own consensus rules.
I have no problem deleting fud replies all the day, it's just up to you. Words without proofs are just hot air.

By the way, it's pretty sad seeing a bitcointalk member with almost 500 activity points react like this. There's an hashrate limit (per single rig) on the official solo pool, and that should not be exceded. If you don't even know how to limit your rig hashrate (by disabling cards like other miners are doing for istance) it's not  devs fault.

Have a good evening Smiley

Another zcash clone coin. Hope they offer enough uniqueness.

Solo mining. Cool I like that idea especially for new low difficulty coins.

How do you convert coins to kwatt exactly? Will a energy company give you some sort of credit? I'd like to see this proven out before I speculate and mine this.

Actually Vectorium Flash is a tiny portion of a bigger project. The main goal of the Team is develop and build green electricity production factories (powered by wind, solar, sea and sublimators systems) called Vectorium Consortiums (or Vectorium Islands).

I guess the energy company you're referring to is a group of multiple consortiums  Smiley

To me this is a shitcoin till proven otherwise. Happy mining.

Cool project! I like the way they used for the supply distribuition. Actually is centralized but at the same time even with a gtx1050 I get easilly some coins. Its the first coin I see with a solo system, it could work!

Always is good to see no premined coins with the possibility of solo mining and with anonymation options, i will be watching and  lets see where the project  can arrive,  , i really like the equihash algo it seems for me like a long term algo

[disclaimer: I'm not the coin owner, I'm helping the project as a programmer and miner. PS: this is a moderated topic, any kind of SPAM,FUD and non costructive post will be removed. Thank you.]

What is and what's the technology behind it

Vectorium Flash is a mineable coin based on a whole new blockchain technology. It’s the core asset of the new Crypto Energy project that will lead us into a new era, the aim of the whole project is change the way we actually use and exchange electricity in order to allow electric power to be peer to peer tradeable. Vectorium Flash is an equihash based coin mineable from everyone, and brings some core assets from lastest Zcash 2.0 codebase implementing sapling and overwinter security support. A faster blocktime allows you to send and receive coins in a matter of milliseconds.

Transparent and Shielded adresses explained

Transparent addresses on the Vectorium protocol are equivalent to public addresses on the Bitcoin protocol, and thus, function in much same way. All transparent addresses, during a transaction, interact with what is known as the Transparent Value Pool, or TVP for short. The TVP is what publicly reveals transaction data, allowing it to be viewed on the Vectorium blockchain by anyone. Shielded addresses on the other hand, encrypts transaction data and requires the generation of zk-SNARKs in order to verify the transaction’s validity. Shielded addresses bring an increased level of privacy and security compared to transparent addresses.

What is sapling?

Sapling is a network upgrade that introduces significant efficiency improvements for shielded transactions that will pave the way for broad mobile, exchange and vendor adoption of VectoriumFlash shielded addresses.

Performance for shielded addresses:Payments involving the new Sapling z-addresses can be constructed in as little as a few seconds and with only 40 megabytes of memory.
Decoupled spend authority:Allows the hardware that constructs the zero-knowledge proof to be independent from the hardware that signs for the transaction.
Improved keys:Full viewing keys allow owners of shielded addresses the ability to view incoming and outgoing transaction details without exposing their private spending key.

What is overwinter?

Overwinter, firstly introduced from Zcash is the first network upgrade for Vectorium Flash. Its purpose is strengthening the protocol for future network upgrades. It includes versioning, replay protection for network upgrades, performance improvements for transparent transactions, a new feature of transaction expiry, and more.

Why choose Equihash 192_7?
The Equihash algorithm can be viewed as an attempt to curb ASIC mining centralization, which is why the Equihash algorithm is often referred to as being ASIC-resistant. The algorithm prevents ASIC centralization by ensuring that the generation of a proof is memory-intensive. Because memory is an expensive resource in computing, optimizing for memory on an ASIC chip will come at a large computational cost to the user. For example, as Biryukov and Khovratovich noted, the majority of desktops and laptops at market can handle 1GB of RAM, whereas 1GB of memory on a chip is expensive. Thus, the use of ASIC chips on the Equihash algorithm is intended to be less efficient and powerful when compared to mining on memoryless algorithms.

In this case Vectorium Flash uses the 192_7 equihash variant, which requires atleast 4GB of available RAM space for processing and validate new blocks, definetly kicking off ASICs and FPGAs.

Why choose the closed solo pool system?

We strongly believe that pure decentralization does not exists. We learnt it with masternodes, we learnt it with PoS systems and even with Bitcoin PoW. Just because it's the nature of the world we live in: someone will always have more than others. This can be more coins or more hash power. So we did a trade off. We traded some centralization for better supply distribuition: that's why the solo pool system was born.

Servers equipped with the latest custom software provide everyone a simple way to collect more coins fairly. It’s time to say goodbye to 51% attacks and big ASIC pool hoppers. Every worker has hashrate limits and access to new blocks is priorityzed to little miners.

What's the benefits of Vectorium Flash?

VectoriumFlash was born to unleash the full power of blockchain transactions, at lightning speeds. In this days cryptocurrency mining requires a high electricity cost. Basically VECT is not a speculation coin but a crypto which aims to reach a fixed valued related to electricity. You'll soon be able to burn your coins for a for electricity generated by a Vectorium Consortium (Islands) or a different electricity producer that is part of the Vectorium Consortium.

• Super fast transactions
• Strong anti ASIC/FPGA algo
• Dedicated solo mining system on community pools
• Can be burned and converted in actual power (kW)
