anyway, that is a good news. legally btc only use for food and rooms, but who knows next whst will happen............

Yup, even small steps are good. Atleast it means that people with real money are starting to take it serious.

I wonder if you get a deal on rooms if you pay in BTC??

Do you think big BTC players get any comps??

They won't even accept Bitcoin for betting even though they are a casino why?

My guess is laws... plus casinos dont gamble... they let us do that.

But gambling with bitcoin is a big business, it would drive up their profit a lot...
but laws are creating surely problems and very soon casions must accept bitcoins for gamble because its not a problem its just as  other currencies  need to convert this in chips

This could be the start of some fun.

They claim they will not accept BTC for bets, but at least its a start that they accept it for food/rooms.

I find it weird for them not to accept it for gambling, I though thats what most gambling company wants?

Its probably because they need to have the money backed for the bets. So if the prices of BTC dropped massively once you obtained chips, then won alot, they wouldnt have the FIAT to back the bet, so would be breaking the law. The only way i guess they can do it and keep in the law about holding money to back the bet is by automaticly changing straight from BTC to fiat.

They can just use a Payment processor or give you the winnings back in Bitcoins.

So much space and scope there for new service providers to cash in on handling BTC payments really.

Will be an interesting space to see if people like visa and mastercard respond.

Even if it poorly done, its a good advertise ploy, just to get their name out there in what every paper is chatting about BTC.

I wonder how fast you can pay for stuff there??

Things like rooms can be paid for the day before and can take time to confirm, but what about shops?? Once you get to the till, you kind of want to pay and leave, not wait for 100 confirms.
mostly need 1 or 2 confirmations not too much so its not a problem if they are going in this

Providing it is legal, they should experiment with a bitcoin gambling machine. I'm sure that would be a big draw and would get them a lot of free advertising.

I wonder why they'll accept it for food/rooms, but not gambling? Seems weird.

I'm sure there is some legal reasons.

Probably so tight now because of the old days of the Mob and the skim.

If they can accept cash then why not Bitcoin? People bet with the chips anyway, don't they? Aren’t they just a form of money?
