Anyone got a link to their terms? I am assuming that they must hold user funds for at least 1 year or so before they can consider those account balances as donations. I don't think they will automatically consider anyone who doesn't withdraw within the next week as forfeiting their balance. It would be too easy to keep many of the balances as some players aren't regulars and probably haven't played in ages.

I know that some pools even keep your mined balance for usually at least 6-12 months and some even keep it forever. I remember that I used Slush back in 2014-2015, and I didn't reach the min withdraw balance, I logged in 2017 when the withdraw balance was lowered and surprisingly every satoshi mined was still there.

So  they just can't give people a week to withdraw and keep the rest. Most likely if the site actually goes offline then there will have to be some manual way to withdraw the funds such as sending an email to support.

Are you saying that they will scam their users? Or do I misunderstand what do you mean by victim? They give a week for their users to withdraw the money (if any), so I do not think there will be a victim for this closing down unless there are some users who do not know that they are going to close. I doubt it to be honest because I believe active players who have some money on the site are noticing about it already so they can withdraw their money before it is inaccessible anymore.
He meant to say that some people might lose their money and it most likely will happen since not everyone check their accounts or emails regularly leading to such sad issues though I would blame the players in this case since the casino gave them sufficient time.
I doubt people will lose their money here as I do think that gamblers (vegascasino players) will leave their account with some balance for long time. If some people left some balance on the account, I think it is just small amount as it is very risky to leave big amount of money on any online website for too long time.
We do not know what type of gambler that plays there can be someone who saves, on a work trip, and vacation with a lot of money in their account. But in my opinion, big or small the amount of their money there is still meaningful. Even though they notify players via email and on this forum also giving the specified time, 1 week is a short time for those who do not know this important information.
I hope they can withdraw their money anytime, even though the website is going to be shutdown. I have the same situation, but it is in exchange. They are going to remove the coin from the exchange, but even though it was a long time ago, my coin is still there and ready to withdraw. I hope vegascasino will take consideration in terms of the time and availability to withdraw the funds of their players.

well at least they didn't go rogue and pull an exit scam , this is a decent way to inform your users and give them time to withdraw whatever is left on their balances
we don't know why they decided to close , most likely is their business is not profitable enough or they decided to focus on a different project
can't say anything good or bad about them since I've never played there
but there are some scam accusations against them if you Google , guess it happens to almost any casino nowadays

Looks like they're just going to keep whatever is left in accounts next week.Seems like it would be easy to miss in their thread.
I got an email from them about this, so its not like they are exactly trying to Exit Scam

Cool, it's a good way to notify their users but I believe the window for withdrawal should be longer than a week.

At least they don't go Bitblender-ing their users.

but blinder do only allocate one week to warn thier users for thier closing   ? 1 weeks is too low  .what if other users are on vacation mode that they leave thier gadgets on thier own home just enjoy the realword outside or they dont have an internet available for some time  .
anyway , other sites do also shuts down before but they allocate more time ( ex. a month of two ) in that way , everyone can prepare  and mininmize the risk of loosing thier funds permanently

This is definitely some sort of "scam" but not the usual way that we are used to. I mean they are giving people their money back if they request it which means they are not scamming anyone that way, there has been a lot of casinos back in the day that didn't even do that and just closed shop with everyone's money in their accounts so that was a true scam, this is not like that so we can't consider it a proper scam.
How exactly is this a scam in any sense? They are literally sending emails to all their users to withdraw their balances which is not the characteristic of a scammer. They could have simply closed the site and bounced with a ton of money which is why your statement does not make any sense.

However, they are giving people a chance to withdraw, if they don't they will just keep the money as their own without their right so it could be considered a scam.
Are you expecting them to go door to door to return everyone's money? If the players lose their money, its their fault. I know some casinos who didn't even bother contacting players in this manner and just ran for the gates.

If you don't withdraw your money now and they close that is money you will never see again without giving them permission to hold that money as their own. It is a shame that casinos are getting closed like this.

So far there's no word about it from them for the reason of such closure but we  can presume things though like;

-Already non profitable for them to continue
-They had an another career to focus on.

These are the only valid reasons I do see.Sad to see its already closing down and at least they are informing anyone on it.
Its probably the first reason that you specified. I never heard of this site until now and the stiff competition from bigger sites probably led to its closure.

They came back a few months ago and announced that they were back in business. But then they suddenly explained that we were closing. Unfortunately, someone will be a victim.

its really a bad that after they return, a new issue arises I hope that people who has funds will be able to withdraw whats left, and encounter no issue regarding withdrawal, I hope they be able to return again, but informing the clients is a big thumbs up to them , others automatically close these shows how they give importance to thermir clients

So sad to hear about vegascasino shutting down. Those who has an account in vegascasino should withdraw right away. I don't think they're going to exit scam since they email their users about their site shutting down and players can withdraw before the site will shut down.

Hi guys,

Don't worry, this forum post is definitely not the only notification we gave. All our players were informed via email and other channels as well.

The vast majority of player balances were already withdrawn, it is not our goal to steal anything. And if someone misses the deadline, we'll still be sticking around for some days at least. Drop us an email at [email protected] and we'll help with any withdrawal requests.

Best regards,
Evita
