I see verge does not have good development, stay below. maybe you better save it. wait for the magic and hope until the verge rises to the point of $ 1.
I believe that I do not believe in saying that just because I'm just waiting for the verge to rise so I can sell it again because I'm not expecting you to increase the price for sure that you have no money.
I got some Verge a few weeks ago when mr Macphee made the announcement and value went up. made some profit. now it is just hovering around going no where. and some controversy on it now.

The first question is, why did you buy it? I still don't get people who buy during the obvious pump...you never know how far this pump can go...just don't buy at ATH and you'll be all right. Now, I would recommend sell in loss and take profit somewhere else. It's better than wait for another pump as some people advice you here. It's just my opinion
Well it wouldn't pump without people buying it in the first place. And "don't buy at ATH"? Hindsight's 20/20 yo...

I think you have half explained it yourself in the original post. McAfee promoted the coin in the first place so you have all the people that will purchase based on his recomendations. I am sure Verge will do well but you need to wait for either the next pump to sell for a profit or let it grow organically.
This is what happened:
1) dev's released the new wraith protocol on 1st of jan , few hrs late from a self-imposed deadline, at the moment wraith is working for OS and Linux and they are fixing the last bugs on the Windows version, my guess in hrs-days it will be out.
2) There is a lot of FUD going around with verge (IMO its targeted FUD , not sure who/what is behind), few examples of FUD mentioned in this thread :
- leaked IP's - RETRACTED - see here https://cryptocrimson.com/verge-xvg-leaking-ip-address/
- Wraith not working : FUD , go and download it , check out github and you will see the devs are all over it for the last days and get your info on verge from the official channel : https://twitter.com/vergecurrency?lang=en

im not really a panic seller. i am just keeping a small amount, maybe later in year, people will forgive and forget and value will go up again.

in my opinion and best to sell because it was certainly bombed, you already had profit and better make a small profit than a big loss.
Maybe money going from verge to other privacy coins?

I prefer to sell it. because if you already get a Profit for what else to hold.

This are the issues that happens when you rely on someone opinion to make an investment decision which you have to part with your own money but unfortunately the person you rely upon does not care whether you made profit or its stagnant. The secret to all this reliance which is more of pump and dump, is not to wait to make the maximum profit. Just the little profit, try as much as possible to be contended with the little profit margin and bolt early or else you would realise you are among the last men standing.
Verge will always be volatile.
Twitter is full of supporters who clearly pump and dump.
Be careful buying at a high - it will inevitably collapse, and possibly be worthless.

I will buy it under 100 satoshi if it ever reaches thr. Otherwise I wont buy it. Somehow I feel it was pumped wrongfully.
Its a good project and I am sure it will grow more it is down now because of Bitcoin is bullish now but I am sure its a good project and it will grow for sure we just need to be patient. Its just my opinion and I am holding verge for long term I will recommend you to do proper research on this project and if you feel that it is good to hold then only hold always rely on your research it will make you more satisfy instead of following someone else because if we follow someone else we will have doubts in mind. So it better to do own research so we have more confidence on the coin.
VERGE fell almost 2 times, if you look at the price at the height. However, many say that this is a correction due to pumping. If it is stable at around $ 0.15 this is also very good. Means in a current of month it will show again growth. Maybe not so strong. We do not know the price you bought. If at the top, then to return the investment will take more time, unfortunately.

So far people have thrown money almost 1 billion at a dodge coin dark rename

Now there is only 1 Dev and its a known pump and dump coini
It doesn't even work it's still just an idea
It's like the fools who put their money into token pay and got robbed.
Stop giving these guys billions off some picture an an idea back coins that are backed by big companies or offer some service on the block chain
