I was thinking about how we will be changing algorithms soon and we will have two active Algorithms at once and was wondering if it would be possible to implement a Winter/Summer Algorithm change? Durring hot months we use the summer Alg (lower temps) and Winter we use the higher temps/ more intense Alg?
whose winter and summer are we talking here? northern or southern hemisphere?
Obviously Northern based but maybe we could have them both at the same time, where southern hemisphere pools and nothern use opposite algorithms.

This change-algorithm discussion is pointless. And it isn't getting better by restarting it every other day.
Scrypt-N is a good, solid algorithm. Despite lots of shady announcements, until today nobody has seen a single ASIC miner capable of mining vertcoin.
Scrypt-N is efficient from a mining point of view, as you can find out with every mining calculator. On coinwarz.com, for example, vertcoin is constantly in the top five coins for weeks now.
So, if you want a "cooler" algorithm, just tune your GPU accordingly. It is absolutely no problem to get less KH/s while consuming less watts resulting in less degree celsius on your miner's status page. I did this myself when mining with some R9 290x, and yes, that can be more efficient than running with top speed.
